With a balcony accessible by the living room and master bedroom, guests staying in Shorewood 332 enjoy a great view of the Atlantic Ocean and the Shorewood pool area. After hours in the surf, vacationers return from the ocean via Shorewood's beach walkway and then dip into the freshwater swimming pool or a seasonally heated spa. Pool is Heated March 1 - April 30 and Oct 1 - November 30. Toddlers have a separate wading pool. Shorewood is a five story elevator building located in South Forest Beach. Among the amenities offered throughout Hilton Head Island, Shorewood is two blocks from the Coligny Beach Market, a quaint downtown area that offers guests a wide selection of restaurants, shopping venues, and entertainment for all ages. King in the master, 2 twins in the 2nd plus a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room.

We spent three nights (three adults, two kids <10) here and had a great experience. The condo has been updated and was very clean, and everything was in good working order. Parking was easy, beach access was convenient, pool was kid-friendly, and the location was very nice. We would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed at shore wood three times now in three separate units. However, as with everything these days, prices on most units have inflated and were out of our price range and we were looking elsewhere. Someone must have cancelled and this unit popped up in our price range and I was excited. The unit itself could use some repairs/updates, but that would most likely put it in a new price range. Everything was satisfactory, and the view/location in unbeatable. If you are willing to sacrifice staying in an updated “fancy” condo for a better price range and same amenities/location, then this is your best bet.

Not well supplied with kitchen. Had bugs. Would not recommend renting this out until actions are taken.. WE FELL WE OVERPAID FOR THE CONDITION of this property. Rental service was very prompt when we called.

We definitely over paid for this property. Stains on the carpet. Broken dining chairs. Kitchen drawers that fell out when you pulled them out. A good view of the ocean and close to the beach. The unit needs to be updated.

The location couldn’t have been better. We walked to everything and there were so many great restaurants-all with live music. The complex was beautiful and in top condition. The condo is a spacious well designed space that is in need of love as it is a bit outdated. The unit and kitchen were well stocked but the cabinets were in poor repair. It was very clean and that is most important to us. It has a large balcony with a beautiful view. All in all we had a fantastic stay and hope to stay here again.

The handle to the patio door was broken making it very hard to open and close.
Strips of the blinds in the master bedroom were missing so there
was no privacy. you were able to see through to the balcony.
Two utensil drawers had signs on them to be careful when opening the drawer because it will fall out.

We enjoyed our stay , my son is in a wheelchair and found the beach access so easy. The rental did have a few things that needed fixed. The door look would get stuck and cabinets needed repaired . Some of the window blinds were missing . But overall clean and met our needs . Especially for the price it was a great deal .

I can't believe anybody would rent out a vacation property that has kitchen drawers that fall out. (A note is taped to the top edge of the drawers warning "Drawers will fall out). REALLY! Also, carpet is worn out and dirty and patio chairs are rusted and broken. Not what you expect in HILTON HEAD!

I have stayed in Shorewood many times so I knew the location would be great. This unit however is very outdated. The kitchen drawers had warnings that they would fall out if opened too far. The window blinds were missing slats. The patio doors had not been replaced when many in the complex were several years ago. There was no TV in the second bedroom. The unit was clean.

This property is exactly what was advertised. The unit was comfortable and served its purpose. Everything was functional and operational and had everything that you could need for the time spent inside. This unit has quick access to the pool, beach, and if in walking distance of everything you can need.

A great week at the beach
Villa is exactly what ya see in the pictures, not great but not bad, can not beat location and view, you will never spend enough time in villa to notice any flaws unless ya look except maybe the kitchen drawers, but whatever everything else worked fine, beds not perfect but comfortable, villa was very clean & comfotable. Patio awesome furniture a little rough. We had a blast. Cant beat the price for where your at ya just cant go in expecting perfection for spending a dime.

Rather than fix the utensil door they put a piece of tape on it that says drawer falls out. Don’t plan on cooking in this kitchen No extras included in kitchen- not even salt or pepper. No extra trash bags, paper towels, etc. One roll of toilet paper per bathroom. Screen door from main bedroom does not open and one blind slat keeps falling off, which they’ve taped back on. Back bedroom has such dim lights, have to take suitcase out of room to see inside it. Air conditioning works very well, but temperature cannot be controlled. It was very cold in condo and we had to sit in deck to warm up. This would be a great condo if the owners cared enough to maintain it.

Outdated and dirty...Owner needs to refurbish or sell!!
Management company was outstanding!!!! Property was dirty, carpet old and stained, bathrooms from the 60,s, with rust and ancient faucets, toilet was like sitting on the floor, mattress was old and sagging, drapes and blinds were falling apart, patio door was old and rusted, kitchen was a disaster, sink coming apart, drawers fell out on the floor when opened, microwave rusted and dirty,washer and dryer ancient and noisy, OLD dirt everywhere, food left in drawers and moldy, no directions for the tv, kitchen cabinets loosing their varnish and falling apart

The apartment had a beautiful view of the ocean from the living room balcony, as well as from the master bedroom. The location could not have been better, with easy access to the pool and the beach. Would definitely stay here again!

This weekly rate for this property was significant less than the others in Shorewood. It is dated. Cabinetry and doors do not operate well. Carpet, furniture, bedding is very worn. However Shorewood is a great location. 600 feet from the ocean with a great pool. So if you don't plan to spend time in the room it might be worth the savings to you?

Shorewood in September
Shorewood is a beautiful property and the first time I have stayed. The unit was clean but the kitchen needs some repair (drawers, cabinets, flooring). The walls could use repair around entrance in kitchen. The unit was roomy and the furniture comfortable. The parking was great. All guests we encountered were friendly. The check-in lady was very friendly and gave excellent directions to Shorewood. The notebook in the unit with restaurant suggestions was great. We will return to Shorewood in the future.

It was mostly nice
The property is a bit rundown, but this was not really an issue with us. It's got a great pool and is very near the ocean. Because this is an enclosed area, the beach was not nearly as busy as down the way. Everything worked, and was fairly clean. Worst was the things the cleaners are not responsible for. Some dirty dishes were in the cabinets. Also, not much cookware. It was what my family needed and the price was good.

1st time visitor to HHI. It was just me and my teenage daughter, so we had plenty of room. We didn't cook, but the appliances looked to be in good condition. Patio doors were a little hard to open from the outside. Panic only set in for a brief moment, lol. Furniture and plumbing was a little dated, but everything worked. It's a rental beach condo, so we got exactly what we expected.

Great location to everything. Good accommodations. The only thing I can say is the place is out dated. The carpet needs to be replaced. Bath tub leaked when taking a shower. I always bring my own bedding and I was glad I did.

The bathroom had a ton of mold around the trim by the tub. Needs a lot of work.
