Charming!

Old charming house is zeer mooi en gezellig ingericht. De gastvrouw was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Jammer dat we geen gebruik mochten maken van de keuken. Ook in de kamer was er geen tafel(tje) om te kunnen ontbijten, waardoor we genoodzaakt waren om ons ontbijt te gaan nemen in één van de snackbars in de buurt.

A great stay in a charming old house.

We would highly recommend this accommodation in Faro. The quiet location for exploring the historic old town was ideal and there were plenty of breakfast places and restaurants nearby. The hosts were exceptional with communication and travel advice. The bedroom was small and had a comfortable bed. The shared living area was spacious and inviting.

No eat in facilities.

A beautiful home

Laura is incredibly friendly and helpful. She responds very quickly and really cares about her guests. The place is located centrally, yet far from the noisy streets. The building is beautifully decorated. We really enjoyed our stay.

The bathroom is outside of the room. It didn't really bother us as it still seemed quite private.

Lovely place and nice people

The room is neat and sweet. And we have AC in our bedroom! We tried the restaurants recommended by owners and we loved it! Laura is friendly and willing to help us! Definitely made our experience there nicer 😊

Superb

We only stayed for one night. The room was comfortable and nicely decorated, and most importantly very quiet! For the first time during our two weeks in Portugal we were not bothered at all by noisy parties/people/dogs/traffic. The owner was really welcoming and the check in/out was super easy.

If you are a taller/bigger person the shower in the room we had will be uncomfortable for you as it is in sort of a nook with very low ceiling and the space is a bit small. Don't know if it is like this in the other rooms, so it might be worth asking. For me it was okay because I'm short.

honestly, it is a disappionting experience because of cockroach

Host communicates with us positively, good location

If you are not mentally prepared enough, people who are afraid of cockroaches are not recommended to stay at this hotel. We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and found a total of 3 cockroaches, on the first day when we made self check-in, the next morning and the second night. The landlord told me that this cockroach flew in from outside and was difficult to kill all. But in fact we always keep the window and door close, the cockroach seems to climb up from the bathroom sewers. Landlord suggested me to stay in another hotel, but this was an unacceptable solution for us. Two girls have a 23kg luggage to carry and we have made plan, which means the time is limited. On the second night, I heard the sound of cockroaches flying, which was terrifying! Unfortunately, the landlord has done their best to help us solve the problem, but seems that the solution is useless. Anyway, if you want to live in this hotel, it is necessary to consider the cockroach problem.

The accommodation was really nice. Really good located, the owners are really nice and friendly and the communication was easy with them. I personally loved all the little details in the decoration. That gave us a comfy feeling. I would highly reccommend to stay there when you come to Faro.

Amazing amazing stay!!

Laura was absolutely a lovely host - gave us loads of recommendations and took time to explain everything. The room was lovely and super clean. It had additional blanket which was perfect as the nights were quite cold.

The flush and grinder of the toilet was very loud but that’s just a tiny set back - Everything else was perfect!

excellent accommodation in great location

really nicely styled comfortable apartment. hosts were charming and helpful. room was super clean and smart. bed was firm (could maybe do with a topper?) but we slept well;only woken up once (by rowdy people on the street). shower was great. en-suite loo doesn’t take loo paper but that’s typical in Portugal. there is a spacious attractive shared sitting room and also a lovely dining room. the kitchen has a fridge freezer and plenty of crockery etc (note-you can’t cook in it). loads of restaurants close (literally steps away) and all the attractions in east walking distance. we took a bus from the airport (16) and it was very easy and cheap. accommodation is 10 mins walk from Faro town bus Terminal. Faro is lovely and well worth a visit.

Very clean and in a good condition. The hosts were super friendly and gave us tips for sightseeing. It's close to the old town of Faro (max 5 mins) and easy to reach by plane and train.
