Treat your family and friends to a peaceful woodland getaway! This dog-friendly Sautee Nacoochee cabin is nestled in the woodlands of northern Georgia, and offers a wide variety of amenities alongside its tranquil surroundings and charming rustic atmosphere.

With the quaint town of Helen just a short drive away and some of Georgia's most relaxing woodlands surrounding you, this cabin's two decks give you a great place to enjoy a vacation. The lower deck even offers a seasonal waterfall alongside a hot tub!

Calm colors, gorgeous woodwork on the walls, floors, and ceilings, and the occasional stonework fixture give this cabin for six a great sense of rustic comfort, further accentuated by the ample natural light from the windows.

The main living area downstairs boasts several sofas and plush chairs for your group to relax, with a flatscreen TV with DVD player. You can also head upstairs and enjoy a pool table in the loft, or step out onto one of the home's two covered decks. Wherever you are, you have all the convenience of home thanks to the WiFi!

Between the indoor table for four or the two additional tables on the upper and lower decks, you have plenty of options when it comes to enjoying a home-cooked meal with your friends and family. Just as varied are your options for making something tasty - the kitchen offers ample counter space and stainless steel appliances for classic meals, while the grill and fire pit outside make for great al fresco dining.

With two bedrooms and baths, up to six guests will have no problem getting nice and comfy during their stay in the cabin. The main level boasts a bedroom with a luxurious king-size bed, matching that of the master bedroom. While both rooms have flatscreen TVs, only the master bedroom features french doors to the fresh air and beautiful views of the upper deck. Dog guests (up to three) just require an additional pet fee.

The two bathrooms are both bright and spacious, with the master bath providing a Jacuzzi tub and rainforest shower. Between these and the washer/dryer, everyone will stay nice and refreshed during their stay!

Woodland walks are right outside your door, but with downtown Helen just over six miles southwest, there are plenty of restaurants to explore with your family and friends! If you need more natural beauty, Unicoi State Park & Lodge is just three miles away, with hikes and natural wonders abound.

Escape into the peace and relaxation only the woods can provide - and take your family and friends along for the ride! Place your reservation today!

We really enjoyed our stay. The service from Vacasa was amazing and the cabin was clean and nice but could use some updates.

The cabin was really beautiful and quiet. The kitchen was well equipped and the rest of the house was lovely. The only problems that we had was the hot tub needs some severe repairs. Jets were not working and there were no headrests on the seats. The pool table is positioned to where we were afraid to shoot pool, because almost every angle was way too close to the glass windows. This cabin was convenient and the road leading in well-maintained unlike the place we stayed last year. Other than the items mentioned, it was an enjoyable trip.

The home is beautiful, the mattresses are beyond worn out. I contemplated sleeping on the floor or couch they were so bad. The hot tub will not heat more than 97 degrees and most jets barely work. Downstairs shower is not operational, only the tub. Beautiful view, very quaint and extremely clean.

All in all it was a nice cabin. The location was great, very close to downtown Hellen and tons of things to do near by. The area was extremely quiet and peaceful. As far as some of the issues that we experienced. #1 and most importantly…. The cleanliness was not up to par. There were cobwebs and dust everywhere… especially on all the light fixtures. There were balloons left rolling on the floor from previous guest who must have had a party. The shower knobs and heads need to be changed out… extreme hard water damage. Certain areas had light bulbs not working. Beautiful windows… great view but they were dirty both inside and out. The hot tub was nice, but the light didn’t work or some of the jets. And the waterfall that was listed by the hot tub was not operational. Lastly…. The fire pit was nice but I couldn’t imagine myself literally walking around a dark house in the middle of the night to get to it. Maybe a lit path or steps off the deck.

Myself, my wife, and another couple took a few days to get away and enjoyed staying at this cabin. It was clean and in a quiet neighborhood in the cul-de-sac. It was a bit out of the way to get to, but that was both a positive and a negative because it led to less busyness, while also being only a tad inconvenient at times. Overall it was a great stay, with our only complaint being that the waterfall feature was not working, all of the hot tub jets did not come on, and the dryer was out of order when we arrived. However, those were minor inconveniences in an otherwise great stay in Helen! Check in was easy (and early) and check out required minimal effort. Would absolutely stay again.

Overall I loved the property but it does have room for improvement compared to other cabins I have been too. But definitely buy new dishes every so often as the ones that were there just seems very old and were super cloudy kinda felt like they would never get clean even when we washed them as we didn’t even want to use them and went out and bought some to use for our stay….
