About this house rental
Casa Playa is truly an extraordinary beach home located in beautiful Las Conchas. Many outstanding amenities make this an unusually desirable vacation retreat. One enters through a Mexican style courtyard complete with palm trees, an outside fireplace and fountain. The great room, with a spectacular ocean view, has vaulted ceilings, a large wood-burning fireplace, ample fireside seating, a big-screen TV with satellite, 10 disc CD player, tape deck, stereo sound system, computer with Internet access, printer, and Wireless Internet access for those that prefer to bring and use their laptops. The dining area will accommodate ten guests. The gourmet kitchen, which also faces the ocean, has a gas stove, side-by-side refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, convection oven, prep sink, and all necessary small appliances — including a blender, coffee maker, toaster oven and 2 microwaves. In addition, there is a breakfast alcove complete with bay window. The master bedroom with magnificent ocean view has a king size bed, wood-burning fireplace, boveda ceiling, and full private bath complete with jacuzzi and double sinks. A second ocean side bedroom has a queen bed, wood-burning fireplace, and full bath with jacuzzi and double sinks. In the third bedroom there is a queen bed, wood-burning fireplace, full private bath, also with double sinks, and jacuzzi. The fourth bedroom has a full bed, wood-burning fireplace and private bath. Other amenities include an advanced water purification system, laundry room, powder room, fans throughout, central heat/AC, built-in outside charcoal barbecue, outside shower, large front patio, and sundeck with firepit. Owner requests No Smoking Inside. Pets allowed with extra security deposit. Sheets, towels, drinking water, and firewood are provided but bring own firewood starters. 2-night Minimum during the week; 3-night minimum during weekends in March, April, May, June, October, November and all Holidays. (Specific Holidays we request 4 minimum nights stay)

As frequent visitors to Puerto Penasco, it became impossible for us to ignore the plight of many of the street dogs suffering from illness, starvation and sometimes outright cruelty. On several occasions we took abandoned, sick and starving dogs back to the United States to be rehabilitated and to find loving "forever" homes.
A few years ago we encountered Barb Mumbach, who operates Barb's Dog Rescue about five miles north of town. She is an incredible woman who has struggled to help these poor dogs in any way that she can . She cares for them at her rescue providing food, medicine, and lots of love. She has also arranged for spaying and neutering, as well as many successful adoptions to the United States.
Your choice to stay at Casa Playa is a significant benefit to these dogs because we have pledge 100% of all rental revenues from Casa Playa to Barb's Dog Rescue.

The whole process of booking this property from start to finish was amazing! We have had 3 previous family trips to Las Conchas and stayed in a large home right on the beach every time but this is by far the nicest house we have stayed in to date. There were only a few minor issues that took place during our stay but were resolved immediately. The property manager was very easy to work with and got back with you on any issue you might have in a reasonable time frame. I did have a problem with the listing online in that the pictures didn’t do this home any justice! I was shocked at how much better this house was in person! Amazing!!
I would definitely rent this house again and would also highly recommend it to anyone!!!

Our annual trip to RP is always a little bit different with different family and friends. This year, we choose a nicer, bigger place to call home for the weekend. This place did not disappoint. Great location away from the rocks on the beach and a house large enough for everyone without being on top of everyone. We will look to see if this place is available for our next trip down.

Property was nice. Workmen however, left cigarette butts all over. Not one hair dryer in any of the bathrooms was a huge inconvenience! Otherwise everything was nice. Also was a bit odd that all the sliders were replaced but one ****** dilapidated door remained downstairs. Wood was all rotted out and gaps on top and bottom let bugs in. Overall a great property for a lot of people. Would be nice to have the hot/warm water explained on how to set the shower. First day I took a cold shower🤦🏻♀️

Really enjoyed our stay in this spacious, beautiful hose. Appreciate that the owners are also dog lovers and let us bring 2 dogs. Great having pvt bathrooms for every bedroom, especially now that the kids are in their 20s and need privacy. We especially lvoed the big deck and ample lounge chairs. Beds have been updated (we stayed here some years ago), and are now really comfy. Wish the house had a gas grill - we had to run out to get charcoal last min and it was a pain dealing with that all weekend. Otherwise the house was great and as usual, Oceano was wonderful to deal wtih. We had one small issue with a leaking sink and they came out w/in 30 mins on a Sunday and got it fixed. Note that house is located on a narrower strip of beach so tide comes up quite high. We didn't mind; for us it is a great trade off to not have a lot of rocks to deal with.

My family stayed here for a week and had an amazing time! The casita was a very nice addition for my wife and I as we have a baby, so she was able to sleep without being waken up by the rest of us making noise upstairs. The property was beautiful, well maintained, clean and the perfect size for our party. (6 adults and 5 Children) Some of the beds are small, so I would not plan on 10 adults.
My only complaints are that the casita was very hot when we got there and it took 2 days to cool it down. Also, the cleaning crew was supposed to show up every 3rd day, and they did not show. I had to contact the rental company on the 4th day to have them come the 5th day. So we essentially did not get one of the cleanings that was included in our cost.
Overall, this home is an amazing and we will likely stay again for our next family summer trip!

This is my favorite house that my family had stayed in. The house looked just like the pictures. It was very beautiful. The beach was a staircase away, the grill was very nice to use, and each bedroom was very pretty and clean. I suggest including a couch that is also a bed for the bedroom downstairs, just to be more comfortable. Aside from that, everything was fascinating.

One of the best houses down there...had a wonderful stay, great location, very clean, well appointed kitchen, bedrooms were very nice (bathroom ensuite in 4 bedrooms...only reason for downgrade to 4 stars for general condition were the toilets...very small seats..uncomfortable for adult males)...Oceano Rental Staff exceptionally helpful and pleasant....also the lower level is completely self contained with it's own kitchen. By far would highly recommend this rental.

Perfect family vacation home
We had the opportunity to rent this home to celebrate my husbands 40th birthday with our family and close friends. The process in renting this room was extremely easy and property management were quick to respond to any questions we had. Home was beautiful and well maintained. We definitely want to come back and hopefully rent this same home !!!
