Welcome to the home we're calling "PS Envy". It's a relaxing, comfortable and welcoming home; perfect for the ideal Palm Springs vacation getaway. Built in 1961, this is an original Alexander home featuring his iconic architectural aesthetic Palm Springs is known for. Any guest will appreciate the comforts and amenities the home offers from its sparkling pool to glorious views. Mid-century enthusiasts will delight in the true-to-original décor. You’ll find the home open and warm with just enough whimsy to make you smile each time you come home.
Every detail has been considered to suit the home's guests: it has been well-appointed and equipped to suit every visitor. Featuring 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, shimmering saltwater pool (pool heat is an optional/additional charge. See house rules for additional information) and hot tub, natural gas grill, outdoor dining and plenty of outdoor lounge seating, huge fire pit, gaming court (ping pong, bocce)… every guest will feel welcome! Hi-speed internet is at top speed so it can easily support all your devices. An excellent cable package enhances your retreat experience.
Hobby chefs will be thrilled to cook in the kitchen: stainless appliances, Carrera marble, gas top range… it’s all there to entertain the guests you travel with. You can prepare cocktails at the island, just steps from the pool action or use the island as a buffet, just steps from the patio table. Glass sliders offer seamless indoor/outdoor living and the chef never misses a beat! The kitchen has been well-stocked with pots, pans, baking dishes, appliances and more.
The dining room can comfortably seat 8-10 guests for dinner. Situated just off the living room, next to glass sliding doors, you can entertain both indoors and out, at the same time, and still enjoy company from the living room.
There is a great mix of sleeping arrangements. The master bedroom features a king bed and private bathroom (walk-in shower. Guest room 1 features a king bed and guest room 2 features a queen bed with a shared bathroom in the hallway (shower/tub combo). Separate from the main home, there is a casita featuring a king bed, private bathroom (shower/tub combo), seating area and breakfast nook. The casita also has its own private outdoor patio. It’s a perfect retreat for grandparents, a nanny or a guest wanting to enjoy a bit more privacy while traveling with their favorite friends. If the kids are old enough to sleep away from the home, this is an ideal teenager’s wing! There are TV's in each bedroom.
The lot makes for spectacular outdoor living. Off the dining room, there is the patio with outdoor dining and seating for 8-10 guests. Perfectly situated just out and around the corner from the dining table is a natural gas grill. Chaises and umbrellas complete the poolside lounging experience. Recline on the full-sized lounge bed for an afternoon nap or star gazing at night. More chaise lounges ensure plenty of the group can enjoy the sun and leave with envy-educing tans. On the other side of the yard, you'll enjoy an outdoor gaming court. Yes, there is a ping pong table, bocce court, horse shoes, corn hole; daytime fun at it's best! We rented this house for a week in late february. The house was as depicted. It's a nice mid century modern home on a very quiet street. The house was clean and well appointed. Brad is the manager and he was very responsive and helpful. Overall it was a good rental however somethings could be better maintained. The pool heater did not work for 4 out of the 7 days we were there so we could not use either the pool or the hotub during that time because they were cold. Eventually, they installed a new pool heater. I think some better planning and preventative maintenance would prevented that.

We wanted a convenient and desirable destination for the holidays, and found it in Palm Springs. The Relax Palm Springs hosts were attentive, friendly and responsive. The home is as advertised. Do be aware that the Palm Springs Airport is quite active at times in the morning and afternoon - the home is just a few miles from the airport (well, most of PS is a few miles off the runway) so you do have to put up with some noise. Outside of that, the neighborhood is very quiet. The outside space around the pool is quite private - you could skip the swim suit if inclined - and spacious. We really enjoyed spreading out. The view is great.

We loved the property, especially the separate Casitas…we have a toddler and our friends don’t, so the separation in the early morning was perfect. The management company was super responsive, it was a perfect place to celebrate Thanksgiving week. Thank you!

My 4 friends and I have been having this once a yr. reunion for almost 30 years. We've all known each other since grammar school, and we think we've stayed friends for so long because none of us have sisters.
We come from all over the country- NY, NJ, Oregon and L.A.. This year was a little disappointing because of the weather ( cold and windy) and the time change ( the days were shorter, the pool was tough to get Into because of clouds) but the house was perfect- all the beds were comfy, the hot tub was VERY popular, and the restaurants were great! We did have to buy 2 adult size floats for the pool ( there were only children's sized there, which we ended up bringing home. The view from the pool was beautiful- snow on the mountain tops!

Relaxation, family-friendly
We booked for the 4th of July extended wknd and communication was excellent from the start. Clear and detailed info on the property and check-in process. Gregg was quick to respond and attentive to all communication. The house itself was perfect for our family, and extended family. House had everything we needed for our stay. Pool/jacuzzi were a hit! 2 kids under 5 and adults loved it!! Casita was super cute and perfect for the grandparents. Property location is convenient, short drive away fr downtown PS. Neighborhood is nice and quiet, fabulous house to go to relax and enjoy. We would definitely go back again. Thank you!!

We had the best time here!! The house is beautiful and the pictures 100% reflected the house in real life. We did have minor issues when we first got there (some outlets in the kitchen weren’t working, house was a bit warm for us and needed an extra fan) and Gregg, the property manager, was quick to answer and come over and fix the issue. Everything was very clean, beds were comfortable, and everything was stocked pretty well! We loved spending hours outside in the pool. Very close to downtown Palm Springs! Absolutely perfect and we already can’t wait to come back!

We rented this house for a girls trip, 8 total ladies. It was perfect for our big group. Plenty of space to spread out. Comfortable beds! We absolutely loved the salt water pool; so much better than stinky chlorine.

We only ventured out to eat twice (one dinner and one lunch) but the kitchen was super-well stocked with all cooking utensils imaginable, and there are a large variety of restaurants that deliver. Fantastic getaway house for groups small or large
We stayed here with a group of friends and we loved it. The separate casita with its own bathroom and kitchenette was a hit with one couple, while the rest of us loved sharing the 3 BR/2 BA main house. The decor is fashionable and inviting (especially the accent walls!), and the house has a great indoor/outdoor flow that makes for excellent socializing. Kitchen glass doors slide open to create even more flow, if you want. The star was the salt water pool and the amazing view of the mountains. Hats off to the manager Scott and his team. Check-in was spot on and we definitely felt well taken care of! Highly recommend for anywhere from 2-8 people.

Great house & casita, lovely pool, yard & very clean
We were a group of 7 friends who stayed. Loved this house and private casita. Very private and quiet. The salt water pool and jacuzzi were awesome as well as the outdoor bocci Court and ping pong table. Fully stocked kitchen was great for our home cooked meals and had everything you needed with a huge dining table and outdoor picnic table. Appreciated the nice plush bed linens, towels and high end soaps and shampoo. The house was very clean and the RelaxPS management did a great job personally orienting us to the house at check in and explaining how to use and access everything in the house and yard. We had an awesome time here and are planning our return here again very soon.

The house was not cleaned as well as it should have been. Some furniture was broken, unusable or dirty. Window shades in the bedrooms didn't work properly. Many issues with plumbing. The house needs a lot of TLC.

Amazing Private Vacation Home!
This is a wonderful rental house for anyone looking to get away to Palm Springs for the weekend! My friends and I had a great time enjoying the pool, bbq, firepit, bocce ball court and Jacuzzi spa. There were 8 of us (4 couples) and the 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms were perfect for a group of friends, and would be great for families too. The house was clean and contemporary, but with classic Palm Springs touches of mid-century modern. Awesome kitchen for cooking (we made breakfast together every morning), and tall hedges in the backyard/pool area for privacy. I loved the location too because it is so close to the airport and just a couple minutes from the downtown restaurants and nightlife. Scott Fields and his team at RelaxPS (Craig and Jonathan) were so friendly and knowledgeable about the home and the area; they really went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience! I will definitely be staying here again on future trips to PS. First-class service!

Great place for a relaxing getaway
The house is very clean, well-furnished and well-stocked, and we loved the pool and spa. The beds are very comfortable, which was a plus. It is on a huge lot and is very private, as it is surrounded by tall hedges. The casita is VERY private and a nice amenity. The property manager, Scott, was very responsive whenever we a had a question or request. Be prepared to sign a separate agreement when you arrive, stating that you will not play ANY music outdoors at ANY time, and any talking in the back yard after 9pm must be "conversation" level, as there are full-time residents living on both sides of the property and they will not hesitate to call the City. We didn't have an issue with noise, but I know this restriction would defeat the purpose of a vacation rental in Palm Springs with an entertainer's back yard for most groups. The back yard is also under renovation right now; some additions are being made to a portion of the yard. It will be even nicer when they are done, I can imagine. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Love This House!
My partner and I, along with several friends, spent a lovely long weekend here recently and have nothing but good things to say about it. The house itself was elegantly decorated, yet warm and inviting. The kitchen was well stocked with every amenity a cook could want. There are three very comfortable bedrooms and two baths in the main house and a separate, private guest house with it's own bath and kitchenette that's prefect for couples. We chose the particular property after reading a previous review about it being pet friendly, and so it was. The two small dogs in our group had a blast exploring the very secure yard and splashing around in the lovely salt water pool with the rest of us. We've worked with the property manager, Scott, before at other homes and, as always, he was EXTREMELY helpful. We've truly grown to appreciate Scott and the ease of booking his properties, the restaurant and shopping recommendations and, my personal favorite, the orientation tour upon arrival. We had a minor problem figuring out how the television in the living room worked and Scott was there within minutes to help get it sorted out (it was us, not the TV )! A great time was had by all!
