About this bed and breakfast
Situated in Columbia, this charming bed and breakfast for $171 per night is a great choice for your next break. PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE LISTING TO MAKE SURE THAT OUR PROPERTY IS A GOOD FIT FOR YOU A 2-NIGHT MINIMUM IS REQUIRED ON EVENT WEEKENDS (graduations, festivals, home football games, etc.) This private, vintage-inspired suite is located in our 120-year-old home in Columbia's East Campus neighborhood. We are half a mile from the University of Missouri and Stephen's College. Columbia's vibrant downtown, where the amazing True False Film Fest is held each year, is about a 15-minute walk away. We are 1 mile from Faurot Field where the Missouri Football Tigers play. A walk to Stephens Lake Park, home of Columbia's fabulous Treeline Music Festival (formerly known as Roots 'n Blues) takes 10-15 minutes. We are also one block from Boone Hospital and about a 5-minute drive to MU's University Hospital & Clinics and Columbia College. The suite's entrance opens from a private deck into a suite of two bedrooms, an adjoining bath, and a living room. Each bedroom is furnished with a queen bed. A powder room, 3 steps from the living room door in the foyer, is also available for our guests' comfort. The guest deck & suite are private and are not shared spaces with us. Streaming with Roku Guest Mode is on an HDTV. You will need your passwords for streaming services such as Hulu, Prime Video, etc. Secure WiFi is provided. Off-street parking for one vehicle is behind the house and just a few steps from the suite's entrance. Additional parking is available on the south side of the street. Check-in details will be sent a few days before your arrival. A small refrigerator, coffee pot, electric teapot, toaster, microwave, glassware, coffee cups, dishes, and flatware are located at the counter in the living room. Fresh ground coffee, half & half, sweeteners, and assorted teas are provided. For an additional $15 per person per night, we offer a continental-style breakfast of yogurt, fresh fruit, English Muffins with Irish butter & Bonne Maman jam, and/or bagels with cream cheese EVENT WEEKENDS $450 flat rate for event weekends - 2 nights (graduations, festivals, home football games Due to allergies, there are no pets allowed. 3:00 p.m. Check-in 11:00 a.m. Check-out

Wonderful place to stay! The location is great and close to campus, the space is clean and the hosts were very thoughtful and intentional with their space. The home is very cozy and a nice place to come back to in the evenings. Another important piece to note is how quiet and spacious the space it. Thanks a great stay. Dee & Ron are excellent hosts, there if you need them, but not intrusive at all. And very friendly. We had a nice chat open arrival where they told us about the house and the property. The house is gorgeous and the gardens are fantastic, a really nice touch. This place is more like a very nice B&B than your typical VRBO property. Super comfortable beds, nicely furnished like your aunt or grandma's house was, and a great location that is easy to walk to downtown for the restaurants and bars there or to campus or the MU stadium. Dee and Ron provide all the little extras like coffee and fisings, shampoo and soap, and even some cookies that make staying here special and convenient. The check-in/check-out/access process was great. We were in town for an MU football game and this location is great for that. Columbia is a very nice small town, our first visit here. If you go, we recommend Ernie's and Glenn's for breakfast/brunch and we enjoyed spending time at The Roof on the top of the Broadway Hotel which has great views of the city. We will be back! Dee saw me looking for the property and waived me in. The property was lovely and well maintained. I enjoyed walking the gardens at night. There are little extras provided if you happen to leave something at home. The property is very close to the campus but also very quiet.

Everything about my stay was amazing. Dee is warm and welcoming and makes you feel at home even before you arrive. The place is cozy, comfortable, clean, and will not disappoint. I'd love to keep this place all to myself so when I return to Columbia I know it will be available but it really does deserved to be shared with the rest of the world! The hospitality, the character of the place, the location are all just super amazing. Thank you Dee, I look forward to returning.

This property is every bit as wonderful as its description on VRBO. It is super close to Mizzou’s campus and downtown. The owners are lovely and made me feel so at home. I would stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

I was initially disappointed when I saw that all hotels were sold out the weekend of our trip, but it ended up being for the best! Dee was so helpful even before we arrived. We were instantly impressed with suite! Impeccably clean, incredibly thoughtful breakfast and snack food, even a filtered water dispenser. So charming! Very Comfortable bed. It was great to have a separate room for our toddler to sleep in. Easy to get in and out, very close to the campus and beautiful Stephen’s Lake Park. Dee and Ron were so nice and helpful, they went above and beyond with advice and recommendations and making the suite as safe as possible for our curious toddler. At the same time, they were very respectful of our space and privacy. We had a great stay. Thank you so much!

We had an excellent experience at the property. Dee and Ron were great hosts-the perfect balance of welcoming and respecting our space. The home is comfortable, close to downtown and an easy bike ride to the MKT trail. Although no kitchen, we were happy to have access to coffee and a small fridge.

We could not have been happier with our stay. The rental was perfect! Very clean and in a fantastic location. Mizzou was just a few blocks away and anything else you would need is just a few minutes away. Despite being so close to the school it was very peaceful and just what we needed. Ron & Dee’s home is beautiful and I wish we could have seen the grounds when everything was green and bloomed out. Dee & Ron were very friendly and made sure every need was taken care off. Came into town for one night. Traveled to see our son(who goes to Mizzou) and our nephew came down from Kansas City too. What a cozy, quaint place! Love the history too! Perfectly accommodated by the hosts!! Would definitely stay here again!

This B&B was perfect for an overnight stay for my family of 3 while returning home from travel out west. It was immaculate and very nicely furnished with antiques. Beds were very comfortable. Nice, private sitting room and well stocked with treats. Will stay again!
