Disappointing

Clean inside apartment

Well supposed to stay in sunderland ended up in South shields as they couldn't accommodate us so spent a lot of money on petrol traveling to sunderland. The apartment itself was nice but on an industrial estate not good for 3 children. The WiFi didn't work.

Good value for money great location but take some earplugs

Great location clean and good value for money

The noise from domino’s was loud all night as it’s a 24/7 domino’s also the couch bed was uncomfortable

It was better than expected for a low budget price. Location was perfect for our family with ample parking and a short walk to the great beaches

Disappointing

Nothing..

no parking apartment needs a major update . Also . wasn't clean.. looks like they never cleaned up after the previous guests. Mould around the bath. Sofa very uncomfortable. Hardly any equipment in the kitchen. Mattress was so uncomfortable had to sleep on top of covers to keep it cushioned. Wouldn't recommend. Staff never respond to messages. Just not good enough

A pleasant experience

The property was generally clean, well decorated and easily accessible. The lounge was a nice place to watch TV and have a chat with the family.

The property was close to the road so as expected, a bit of noise in the night. A double glaze would take care of this.

Avoid at all cost.. will not pay back your deposit.

Location nothing more.

Apon arrival, we had difficulty obtaining the keys, we had an hour wait with two very tired, fed up children, after a four and half hour drive. We opened the door and was greeted by very steep stairs which led to the flat, which my disable partner found very difficult, which we were unaware of at time of booking. The flat was clean but very basic. There were marks on walls , slight tear on the sofa bed, slight marks on bedding and mattresses. As we settled in for the night we were soon aware of how awful the mattresses were, the springs were very prominent and dug in. We were then left short of duvets and blankets as we had to use them for padding. We all awoke sore and tierd. There was one very hard, small sofa bed in the living room, were the center piece was very hard and uncomftable. There was only room for two people, so my children had to sit on a small hard leather bench, which was pushed against the wall. There was only room for two to eat at the very small bar like table and stools, which were unsutible for my disabled partner. There was also no tvs in the bedroom, which was only a issue for the children. The location was great with regards to the beach, but please be aware of the pub accross the road, and the other pubs in close proximity as can get alittle loud. Once home we were greeted by a message stating they were holding the deposit, and made up various reasons why, which we have been forced to defend and show photographic evidence of how we left the place, so please be aware of this upon booking.

Great location. Badly kept. Smelled dirty. Not pictured on any of agencies sites.

Location. Clean bedding. Clean towels.

Filthy. Very badly stained futon which was only place to sit. No other chairs. Very uncomfortable and small. No table. Cigarette burns in lino. Damaged hob. Damaged pans. Black mould in bathroom. Smell of smoke/dirt. Rubbish under futon. 1 set of keys. No lamp bedroom 2. No communication before stay re house number/check in, No reply to emails until last minute.

Disappointing

Great Location

Basically, the pictures are catfish. There was 1 3-seated couch for a place booked for 5. No table and 1 fork to share. If you only want the place to sleep and sleep only then great but if you wanted by any chance to relax a bit there was no way. I do not recommend for families.

Shocking service

Nothing! as the apartment we booked was not the apartment we got & was a 25 minute drive away from where we had planned to stay

The apartment we got was not the apartment we booked & the service we received was shocking. The beds we extreamly uncomfortable, you could feel every spring in the mattress. The sofa was nearly falling apart & the noice from other apartments was shocking. The alternative apartment was not worth £350!

Really disappointed

it was clean except the mattresses

This accommodation is hugely overpriced. The beds were really uncomfortable, the single bed on the right is broken. To use the kettle I needed to pull the microwave forward as the wire is so short and the cups are dirty. The seating in the living room is quite fragile and whilst there were only three of us, if there had been more there wouldn’t be enough seats for everyone. Really disappointing

Exceptional

The apartment is situated very close to all amenities and is a short walk to the seafront. It was very clean and had all the necessary cooking utensils all in all very good value for money will use again

Be wary ..!!!!

Promised 2 doubles. Got 1 double 1 twin. Photos of ANOTHER appartment! Promised dinning table was not it appartment. Ate meals on laps on sofa.!!! Booking.com site photos are misleading Complaint a to Booking.com Disappointed. .Spoilt .celebration visit. Telephone line sent to FULL Mailbox.Unable to speak to owners!!!!

Very good

The location was excellent. 5 minute walk to the Seaburn recreation park to walk the dogs, right by the beach. Also near to the shops on Sea Rd. The beds were comfortable and the flat was spacious.

The sofa bed in the sitting room was not so comfortable and there could have been a bit more seating.

An easy place to find with key safe access.

The location worked for our requirements. Easy access with the key safe.

The bath in one apartment needed cleaning. The loud music from the shop below between 11.30pm to 1am. But this is being dealt with so should be better in the future.

Room to sleep for work purposes

Spacious microwave cooker fridge spacious bathroom good size double bedroom and large twin room. Towels provided.

Some obvious repairs. Took photos and sent via booking.com as had to pay damage deposit which was refunded 7 days after beginning of our stay.

The location was good near facilities and going out for meals and not far too the park and beach

The rooms was dirty and had a dangerous toaster that could have set on fire with children there, it could have great possibilities if they clean and changed the carpets and put bunk beds and a single bed in the twin room and in the living room area a bed settee that was cleaned and got new bedding and put a TV in the bedrooms and tiled the bathroom floor and they only had one teaspoon in the drawers they have to think more about children safety it's nothing like the pictures they advertise, but when we phoned they was very polite and help as much as they can hopefully they spend time on it because more people Will stay there

Shocking Communication

Good Location

Very poor communication prior to the booking. We advised we were attending a funeral and requested to checkin an hour early. We were happy to pay for this service and advised of this. 4 messages/emails over a week were ignored and Booking.com were equally unhelpful. The contact number for the bookings just rang out on numerous occasions. We ended up having to use a friends apartment to get changed prior to the event and chose not to stay in the apartment. Shocking service and would not recommend.

Pleasant

The location is good. Beds are nice

As humans, the apartment management should be able to make exceptions to their rules. Even though the apartment was ready for check in,i had to stay with my kids under the rain because i came 2 hours earlier than 3pm. I call that mean service.

it’s in a great location and amazing food places to eat and see the sea front view walking distance.

on our arrival the property wasn’t clean there was tobbaco dust and rizzla in the middle bedroom, was on the floor we have picture. also after paying with booking.com full price for two days they asked us for further holding deposit and didn’t return the deposit back after a month asking so many time.

it is a good location to the beach and shops

it could do with an update, the sofa is so uncomfortable to sit on, also the pillows on the bed were very thin and would of been great to have tvs in the bedrooms

This place this absolutely awful . Tired, dirty and the lack of communication from this company is terrible. This is the worse place I've ever stayed at. And the nerve to ask for a damage deposit!!!
