About this cabin rental
Guests are sure to have an amazing and memorable vacation in this fully furnished, 4 bedroom/4 bathroom log cabin home. The main floor has a large open concept with cathedral ceilings and gorgeous windows that look out to a perfect cove on the beautiful Lake Norman. The screened-in room of the kitchen is great for outdoor meals, reading a book, or a great puzzle. Lakefront has an enormous deck to overlook the entire lakefront property. The Main floor has a Master bedroom and Bathroom and also a 2nd bedroom which is also a master but shares the bathroom with the main living area. The 2nd Floor has incredible views with 1 bedroom and full bath with a large loft area and a futon for those drop-in guests. The 1st floor gets all the fun! Full-size pool table, Ping Pong, and wet bar area. This area walks out to a custom outdoor kitchen area and a fabulous in-ground swimming pool. You are just steps away from the sandy beach area with stairs to the lake during the day and at night a great fire-pit that is Smores ready!! Perfect for star gazing! The first floor has a great enclosed 1 bedroom and full bathroom for the later sleeper!

We just wrapped up a fantastic week at this lake house that had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation including:
- a well-provisioned kitchen (down to s’mores skewers)
- a TON of seating areas for reading or talking - screened in porch, firepit, two-story dock, huge second floor deck, and porch swing on the pool patio!
- the deck and the dock offered a perfect view of the sunrise
- almost every room had speakers that could be operated with remotes (pro tip: hit “list” cycle to the room you want by using the arrow keys, and then hit either watch (for tv) or listen (for the radio).
- comfortable beds and plenty of pool towels
- we really appreciated the three huge umbrellas by the pool to avoid sunburns for all the time we spent out there.
- the kayak and paddle board were appreciated - as were the poker chips, pool table and ping pong table.
- Katie was extremely helpful and prompt with texts leading up to and during our stay.

Amazing, relaxing, fun filled memories! We have always been tropical beach vacation family. We will definitely go to the beach again, but for the time we have been converted to lake life! This property was everything as advertised and more! The host was amazing, made sure we were settled in the first day, checked to see if we needed anything. Our extended family had a wonderful time in your beautiful home. Everything we needed was there. We loved the large open deck overlooking the pool and lake... we enjoyed the screened in outdoor living area on the one rainy day we had the week we were there. We didn't use the firepit, but a nice option to have available for your guests. The commercial ice maker in the game room area was a nice plus. Also, a nice surprise to see TWO large sized fridges in the kitchen area. We spent most of our time floating off your boat dock in the lake, and the remaining time in your pool or out on the lake in the boat we hauled down from PA, It was an awesome week...thank you for sharing your beautiful lakefront home with us. OH...one more important thing: Katie, your property manager was a joy to work with. Very punctual in replying to any questions we had when we first got to the house. BTW: we almost had to stay with the next family (for a couple more hours) that was coming in after us, but we put a major rush into getting our 2,000 piece puzzle done just after midnight this morning...the day we checked out~~! hahaha We are all home now, with wonderful memories of our time at your home. Thank you again~~~!

The house/property was just as we expected based on the listing. The house was wonderful many amenities, the pool was great and the dock very nice. The small sandy beach area on the property’s waterfront was a nice feature and located in a quiet cove. Overall a great property for a family vacation.

Beautiful property and we all had a great time but did have several hiccups during our stay. TV in family room could not be used until Wed when someone came. Katie tried but no luck. 2nd fridge not working. Repair guy came on Thursday. Water in hallway 2 nights that leaked from ceiling above. All 4 trash cans were running over with trash upon arrival. Home needs good cleaning, alot of dust under furniture that could be seen. Outdoor area around grill and pool also needs TLC. Pool and double docks were awesome. Thanks Kevin and Katie!!

Luxurious Lake Experience! We can’t wait to return!!
We had an amazing stay and an excellent experience. The property manager was very responsive and friendly. From the initial booking, my questions prior to arrival and checking in . Any questions I had were answered in a timely fashion and with complete politeness. The property was phenomenal completely exceeded my expectations the perfect home and location for a relaxing week. The home was clean, cool and beautiful! The landscaping was immaculate just bursted with beauty. The pool was perfect and well designed. I could rave all day about this home. I loved relaxing on the porch and enjoying the beautiful views. The dock is the best on the lake or at least from what we saw from our boat rides that week. The house had a lot of items on hand to create the best lake experience. I was very impressed. I throughly enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and all the house had to offer. I would definitely recommend it! I look forward to making this location an annual trip with my family! Thank you for sharing your amazing home!

Great Summer Vacation
We had a wonderful week with extended family. The house was very clean and in a great location. The dock was the nicest on the lake. Kids had fun jumping off of the dock. We rented a boat during the week when it wasn’t crowded. Kids had a blast tubing and kneeboarding. Toucan’s restaurant accessible by boat has the best food. Lastly, Katie, the house manager was wonderful. She answered all of my questions during our stay.

Everything you could ask for and more!
Kevin's house is exactly as the pictures show! We were truly blessed with perfect weather, so we spent the entire week going in between the pool and lake. We had a group that ranged from 16 to 77, and everyone had a great time! The communication prior to arrival and during the stay is a significant benefit as well, especially when you are trying to organize the stay for extended family with different needs. Kevin recommended CS Performance for renting a pontoon boat, and they provided amazing service. Also, I had never been to Lake Norman prior to this trip. It is a beautiful place in every aspect, you won't be disappointed choosing it for your vacation!

Great COVID getaway!
We had an excellent vacation at the lovely property. The water activities between the fantastic pool and the lake took up our days, with cocktails on the deck at sunset. Just what our family needed to breakup the COVID isolation. Fully recommend this property to future holidaymakers!

Gorgeous view!!
Property has an exceptional, expansive view of a peaceful cove and into the main channel. The dock is in incredibly deep water which made docking our boat so easy; there is plenty of room on the dock to spread out and enjoy the view. House is loaded with all the amenities that you could want to have a fun-filled family vacation!! We all had so much fun playing in the incredibly clean and high-end pool. I only wish we could’ve stayed longer.

The house was great! My biggest issue was convincing my kids to get out of the pool or lake. The game room was fun, access to a kayak and a paddle board really made the lake a blast. We will be back.

Best Vacation Ever
This house was absolutely PERFECT!! It started with walking in to a magnificent, clean living area and new appliances. Each of the 4 bedrooms basically had its own bathroom! The salt water pulled it all together,it was the perfect gathering spot for the entire family, both young and old. Jumping off the dock was an amazing experience, that you have to do.

Absolutely perfect vacation. The house was beautiful and clean. Pool was fantastic. View was perfect. Very short boat ride to local restaurants and boat ramp. My teenage daughters loved this vacation more than their trip to the Caribbean! No disappointments here. Home is highly recommended. Katie and Kevin both are easy to contact and more than willing to help with any issue.

This was an awesome place to staycation! There was a lot of room to accommodate all of us. Jumping off the deck was scary but we all had a blast doing it. Don’t leave till you do it. The master bathroom shower is absolutely amazing . Keep it a secrete everyone will want to use . With Publix near by made it easy to get what you forgot.

Best house we ever rented.
Beautiful lake house. The photos on VRBO don’t do it justice. Tons to do for the kids. Neighbors are a little close but it did not bother us one bit. Everything in the house is high quality. House came with a paddle board and a single kayak that we used everyday. A huge catfish and a 10 inch bluegill were caught off the dock. Ping pong table, pool table, and swimming pool were big hits. My 18 yr old daughter said “best vacation ever”.

Best House on Lake Norman!
This is a great house right on Lake Norman. It has a great saltwater pool, great media set up and lots of room. It is well appointed, and it has everything a family or bunch of friends would want. The 'double decker' dock is terrific to sit up top on at night or to jump off during the day to cool yourself off. It also has plenty of room to to dock your own or rented boat if you choose to do this. The media is great, has AppleTV so you can watch Netflix if you want There is a huge finished basement for the kids to play ping pong, pool, or play video games. There is also a great screened in porch off the kitchen to relax in. This house will not disappoint!

Amazing Lake House!
You couldn’t ask for a better property to vacation at. I’m so glad they didn’t post every picture for you to see because the great shock of walking through the front door was exciting! With nine adults and two babies, this house accommodated us perfectly....and, not once did we run out of hot water for showers! Your morning consists of watching the sunrise on the deck with coffee in hand or going to fish off the boat dock. The views are breathtaking, from the lake to the boat docks to the little beach area! The heated salt water pool was so refreshing after a day on the boat or jet skis. Grilling out and using the fire pit is a must! Thankfully, we had amazing sunny days the week we were there and only played pool a couple of times...beautiful weather to be inside.The owners provided a kayak and paddle board that was used a lot. I recommend CS Performance for your boat and jet ski rentals. They do not deliver or pick up but the boat/jet ski ride back to the house is less than 10 minutes...great customer service! For you ladies that are planners, the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need...even a large crockpot. I would recommend bringing your own dish towels and dish rags, paper towels, trash bags and dish soap and/or dishwasher soap. Also, if you have lots of coffee drinkers, you might want to bring your own coffee pot. The Keurig is nice but wasn’t functional for my large group. There is also a new Publix about 10 minutes from the house. They do provide towels in each bathroom, beach towels and toddler beach towels...you seriously don’t need to bring any (just laundry detergent to wash them before you leave). Katie was great to work with and answered or took care of everything. I could go on & on about this property but you need to check it out for yourself. You definitely get your money’s worth. The memories are priceless!
Oh, and, you definitely need to experience jumping off the top boat dock into the water. My family had a blast doing it!!
