About this house rental
Cozy farm style home. Snuggle under handmade quilts and cotton sheets in our master bedroom with queen bed. 2nd bedroom full bed; 3rd bedroom twin bed. Roll away bed if needed. Enjoy spacious kitchen and dining area around our large farm table. Pamper yourself in the master bathroom with homemade soap and soak in our claw foot tub for a while or enjoy the large shower. Bathroom 2 has standard tub and shower combo.Rock or swing your time away on our covered front porch or we have the Gas grill around back under covered porch, again with rockers.

Robena’s Place is located conveniently located to downtown Asheville and the Biltmore House, easy drive. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the porch sipping our coffees in the morning. Very peaceful.
There were a couple of things that detracted from our stay. We ran short on toilet paper, there were no spare rolls, just 1 in each bathroom, One of the bedrooms had musty smelling sheets, as if the linen was not completely dried before removing from the dryer, it made it difficult to sleep with that smell. Finally, there was no bar soap or body wash. We didn’t realize we needed to bring our own soap, we had to go buy some.

The property is a nicely decorated country home. I found it very nice to be away from the city but yet just a short drive to downtown Asheville. The kitchen is nicely supplied with everything you need for cooking and the washer and dryer are very nice which was very handy. The living room and bedrooms have their own TV’s which was very nice addition. I personally had difficulty with the mattress being a bit lumpy along with the living room couch and chairs losing their buoyancy. We definitely enjoyed our stay and believe with some small updates this would be a fantastic 5 star accommodation.

Had a great stay. The location was convenient to town, but secluded enough to give it a mountain feel. The outdoor space was nicely, equipped with swings, rockers, fire pit, and grill. Inside, the house had everything we needed. We will definitely be back and recommend others check it out as well.

We had a wonderful stay! Especially loved the framed picture and little story about the owner’s mother. We also enjoyed sitting on the porch having coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. While there was a black board with restaurant recommendations and some of the top things to do, it would have been helpful if there was a notebook with other information like where the nearest grocery store was located and other helpful information. All in all a great stay and would recommend.

This was our second and say at the property. It was just as good as the first we love it and we’ll stay again. We did have a problem locating the Wi-Fi password however, Sarah communicated with us right away and pointed it out. Can’t wait to go again.

We wanted a weekend getaway to visit Asheville and the Biltmore House at Christmas. The cottage was only 7 miles from the Biltmore House and convenient to everything. It was so cute and cozy, nicely decorated. Attention to detail was given. Would definitely recommend!

We lived in the Blue Ridge Mountains years ago and lived in an older farmhouse. The cottage was perfect to come back to and enjoy porch sitting and the coziness of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The cottage itself was clean and perfectly quaint! The hosts were there to communicate when needed and helpful as well. It was a perfect place to stay while we were in town for a family wedding at the Biltmore as well!

Robena's Place is a charming old farmhouse that is decorated with antiques throughout. It is kept up very well, maintenance, cleanliness and very well stocked.
You feel the coziness immediately and lends itself to enjoying a quiet time in or outside of the house.
If you want to get out and do something there are plenty of local opportunities to do so.

This is a charming bungalow with a view of the mountains from the front porch, yard swing and hammock. Everything worked and the house was very clean, the beds were super comfortable, both bathrooms were well stocked with towels, and the washer and dryer were a definite plus. It is a quiet location that was easy to find and close to everything we wanted to see and do.

Robena’s Place was exactly as pictured! The bedroom setup worked for our group of three, as everyone had a private space. The kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed cooking together each evening. We did eat out a few times and appreciated the restaurant recommendations - highly recommend BiscuitHead for breakfast/brunch!
The home was convenient to our two activities: the Blue Ridge Parkway and Biltmore.

Loved this guest cottage! It was just perfect for our small group to celebrate my daughter’s graduation from UNCA. The front porch was lovely and the front yard had a nice view of the mountains and was perfect for hanging out and playing cornhole. I rented this VRBO at my wife’s request for a trip to the Biltmore for her birthday. I made the host aware it was a birthday trip for my wife. When we arrived, she found a few Happy Birthday wishes which was a nice and thoughtful gesture. My wife invited two of her friends and they all enjoyed this quaint cottage. It is conveniently located to the Biltmore (about 20 minutes), downtown, and stores from which to pick up various items you may need during your stay. If you are looking for a luxury VRBO this one may not be for you but if want to stay in an older, quaint house that is clean, reasonably priced, and located in a quiet area, you won’t be disappointed.
