Auf jeden Fall hier buchen

Wir waren fünf Nächte an diesem wunderschönen Ort und können es gar nicht genug empfehlen. Es ist außerhalb der überfüllte Hauptstraße des Orts und schön ruhig. Am Gemeinschaftstisch lassen sich dennoch tolle Bekanntschaften machen, gemeinsame Ausflüge planen und Informationen austauschen. Hoa ist eine wunderbare Gastgeberin, sowie tolle Köchin und stellte sicher das wir kein Geld mit Touren verschwendeten die wir auch einfach selber machen konnten. Mit den kostenlosen Fahrrädern fuhren wir zum Bootsanleger für die Phong Nha Cave und zum Duck Stop. Zugegeben die Fahrräder sind nicht in bester Verfassung, zwischendurch mussten wir mal die Kette wieder aufsetzen, aber es hat geklappt und sonst kann man auch sehr günstig Roller leihen. Damit waren wir bei der Paradise Cave. Sehr einfach auch für unerfahrene Rollerfahrer zu machen, solange man nicht von der Route abkommt. Einen günstigeren Bus organisierte Hoa uns schließlich auch noch für die Abreise, zweidrittel von dem was wir online gezahlt hätten. Sie brachte uns vorher mit dem Roller in den Ort um etwas zu essen für unterwegs einzukaufen und schließlich auch zum Bus. Der Wäscheservice hat ebenfalls super geklappt. Unsere Rechnung am Ende war viel zu niedrig, wir konnten es kaum fassen.

Einmal Palafita - immer Palafita! 😊

Tolle und ruhige Lage außerhalb der Stadt und inmitten von Reisfeldern gelegen. Danke an die sympathische und sehr nette Gastgeberin Hoa für unseren tollen Aufenthalt! Jeden Morgen und nach Wunsch auch am Abend gab es hausgemachtes Essen und viele wertvolle Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt! Man konnte mit jeder Frage zu Hoa kommen, sie hat sich einfach um alles gekümmert und war immer erreichbar. Wir würden definitiv wiederkommen!

Lovely relaxing stay

Very clean, beautiful scenery, lovely host. Had great breakfast (omelette) and coffee. It was very private and relaxing. She provided bicycle for free, and could help you get a motorbike. It is a little way out of town so those are great options

One of the best places we booked in Vietnam

Loved the location, surrounded by rice fields. Out of the tourist zone. We loved it, we stayed an extra night. Very relaxing, the owner answers very quick on whatsapp and shes very nice and welcoming. She cooked us breakfast and dinner, very good and reasonable price. The rooms are clean and warm, the bed was comfortable as well. If you need to book tours or have any questions, the owner has answers and books it for you. We had our own motorcycles so it was easy for us to go from place to place, if you’re travelling by bus and train i think you can have access to a scooter with the owner if you ask. 100% recommend, it’s calm and its a great price !! Thank you for everything :)

a hidden gem, in the middle of ricefields, absolutely amazing

this was one of the best places we've stayed in Vietnam so far. It's in the middle of rice fields, rhe bungalows are very clean, big confortable bed and you can't really hear much noises from the outside, it's very cheap and the breakfast is simply outstanding! The owner's got a scooter for rental for cheap price and bikes for free. You won't regret staying here.

Amazing host family & bungalow experience

The host was great, probably one of the nicest people we’ve encountered in our trip in Vietnam. She cooked for us and helped us book any taxis or tours. The location is an 8 minute drive to the village but it’s worth to see a different side of Phong-Nha. Bikes are available for free and motorbike for a small fee.

Nothiiing, we loved it!!! because it is in the middle of countryside be prepared to find bugs and other cute animals (frogs and weird insects).

Set in a peaceful rural location just out of town within easy motorcycle ride for dinner. You can also order dinner to be delivered if you like! Our host Hoa is delightful and welcoming nothing is too much trouble! She will make bookings and organize motorcycles and anything else you need! A beautiful lady with great English!

Hoa is truly a superb host. Her tips helped us a lot (scooter rental, bus rental,...). The place is really great. The rooms are spacious and clean (individual bungalow), the pool very nice when it's hot. The place is 4km from the center of Phong Nah in the middle of the rice fields. We had the chance to spend an evening with a group of Vietnamese friends who were spending the weekend at his residence, we had a lot of fun! Last but not least, you have to eat at Hoa's place. We took the barbecue chicken (local specialty), a delight for the taste buds. thanks again

Great value for money - we would recommend this place and stay here again if we came back to the area!

A beautiful place to stay, a short cycle away from Phong Nha and the duck stop. The host was very friendly and helpful, she cooked us breakfast each morning and an evening tea one night. She arranged a taxi from the train station and check in at 3am. She has free cycles and arranged a moped for us on the other day. The bungalow itself it’s surrounded by nature which was a nice change from other places we’ve been in Vietnam and the bed was one of the comfiest we’ve stayed in.

I think the A/C may need a service as things seemed a little damp when it was on but this is easily fixed.

so relaxing

a bit out of the main town which was so peaceful and beautiful views of mountains and paddy fields surrounding. free bikes provided for us to cycle into town easily along the river. The bed was SO COMFTY. Nothing was too much trouble to ask and we had a delicious bbq chicken for dinner one night :)

The young couple who are running the place were the most lovely! Rooms are spacious and clean. Hot water and the heating work. Comfiest beds I've slept in Vietnam. Good food and the location is beautiful and peaceful. Highly recommended!

I would have liked to stay longer but we had to keep going north.

Everything the hotel is run by a young couple. Rooms were spacious and super clean. HoA who runs the place is courteous and humble. We stayed there for 2 nights we really had a wonderful time staying there.thank you hoa Making the trip wonderful

A small guesthouse set among the rice paddies, so beautiful scenery around and sunsets over the distance Phong Nha mountains. The rooms are large and comfortable. The pool is a pleasure after sightseeing in the heat.

The location is a bit remote from the town "nightlife" and amenities, but makes it quiet.

The swimming pool was super clean and the people were lovely! Phong Nha was our favourite place thus far in Vietnam and this stay definitely contributed to that

We had a perfect and wonderful holiday at Palafita thanks to great service and warm hospitality.

The hotel's host (a young couple) is really nice, warm, friendly and provided us really good care to make our stay comfortable. We love the bungalow - very cosy with good facility and nice view to the rice field and mountain, quiet and privacy. The kids love the swimming pool and we had a BBQ pool party with good food and the music.

There need be more trees in the west since it is very hot and sunny in the afternoon.
