The warm, natural interior has welcomed us once the temperatures get cooler in the spring and fall.

This was our third time staying at this charming, old-fashioned Cape Cod cottage, My husband and I rented it for three weeks, and our daughter and son-in-law and grandkids (ages 6 and 9) joined us for four days while we were there. At another point in our stay we had old friends (a couple) spend the night. Everyone loved the house! It is very roomy and has a wonderful wraparound porch, great for watching the sunset from. The location is ideal: just a five-minute walk to beautiful Megansett Beach. Marcy and her brothers (the owners) are lovely, considerate people, who are always quick to respond to a request and eager to make their guests comfortable. We hope to return to this house for part of every summer to come!

This is my dream house: rambling and old-fashioned, with a wrap-around front porch for gazing at the sunset over Megansett harbor or lazing away the afternoon in the hammock reading a book. It reminds me of the Cape Cod house my family summered in from the 1950s-1980s. The real thing!

I absolutely loved this house--with its wrap-around porch with beautiful views of Megansett Harbor, its numerous cozy bedrooms, its cobblestone fireplace, and other features that reminded me of the summer home my family had when I was growing up. The house was big enough for us to have friends visit for an overnight and my daughter and son-in-law and grandkids to join us for a week. We loved bike-riding on the nearby bike trail that runs from Megansett to Woods Hole, spending afternoons at Megansett Beach, eating at the Chart Room, buying seafood almost everyday at the Cataumet Fish Market, taking our grandkids to the playground and ball park just up the road. I especially loved lying on the hammock on lazy afternoons, lost in a good book. Not only was the house and location wonderful, but Marcy was an attentive, helpful host who always answered our questions promptly. We will definitely go back!

I will definately be going back to this cottage. We wanted an area not too too busy and found it. Yet it is close to everything. (10 min drive to Downtown Falmouth) The beaches were close and even rode bikes to a beach. 5 minute walk, 7 min car ride to a nice beach with snack bar if you'd like. There is an awesome bike trail that starts in N. Falmouth. We did also take in a Cape Cod League Baseball game as well. The porch is great. Coffee and paper in the a.m. A nice walk to store to get paper. Happy hour in the pm on porch is a must. You can even sleep in the screened in porch on most nights. We took a jaunt to Provincetown, An easy one day trip! Great shopping and restaurants there. You really are close to everything but not in the hustle and crowded bustle that you can easily find. Great restaurants in Falmouth too! You can catch the Ferry right in nearby Woods Hole. Plenty of parking. Kitchen had plenty of CLEAN pots and pans and dinnerware. Bring a sharp cooks knife though. Plenty of hot water for showering and pots and pans. Dishwasher too.

My stay at this North Falmouth home was everything I had hoped it would be! This pristine cottage had plenty of bedrooms for my family and a comfortable living room as well as eat in kitchen. My most enjoyable activity besides walking to the nearby beach, was having my morning coffee or evening cocktails out on the wrap around porch. Afternoons can be spent riding your bike to either the nearby bike trails or ice cream stands. Shopping at Mashpee Commons was fun looking through the unique shops and stopping for a gourmet cupcake! There was plenty of off street parking at the cottage. Overall, it was a perfect place for a relaxing vacation with plenty of opportunities for summertime fun!
