About this house rental

This 4000 square foot home is 2 years old and features an open concept kitchen with built-in wet bar, living room, dining room and half bath on the main floor. The kitchen features a large walk-in pantry, stainless steel appliances, and 10-foot island with quartz countertops. The large island and 6ft dining table offers plenty of seating for family dinners. Off the kitchen is a screened in deck with bar-b-que and ample seating. Upstairs includes a large master bedroom with walk-in closet and ensuite with a large jetted tub and walk-in shower with jets. Additionally, the second floor has 2 more bedrooms and a full bathroom with tub/shower combo. Laundry room with washer and dryer completes the upstairs. The finished basement includes the fourth bedroom, another full bathroom and large 80-inch flat screen tv which allows for great movie nights. Wifi, and cable available throughout the home with additional routers upstairs to maintain highspeed internet.

This modern home is close to all amenities. Located across the street from a park in cul de sac, and less than 5kms from Charlottetown's only airport. It is a short 5 minute walk to Charlottetown's only golf course, and 30 km from 11 other golf courses. Historic downtown, which features many restaurants, is less than 5kms away. Charlottetown has 2 different breweries and The P.E.I. Brewing Company which hosts many weddings throughout the summer is less than 2 minutes away. If you drive 20-30 minutes north you will find some of P.E.I.'s National Park's beautiful north shore beaches.

I rented this home as a 3-generations girls’ trip to fulfill my lifelong dream of visiting the island where Anne of Gables came to life. We couldn’t have been happier with our choice! This home was built for entertaining with a luxuriously huge kitchen- my girls loved the hidden huge pantry! Great spacious bedrooms and super clean throughout the home which still felt brand new. A few questions I had were immediately responded to. And when I was looking for Tupperware and couldn’t find any, the thoughtful owner surprised me and bought new containers and left out at the front porch for us to find! PEI is such a wonderful vacation spot and when I come back again someday we will want to stay at this property again! (Only tiny bummer was that the house is built close to a highway and we could hear the traffic overnight a bit, but I don’t think they can do much about that except maybe more rugs on the floors to absorb the sound.)

Spacious, new home. Very clean upon arrival and host was responsive and accommodating to our needs. Instructions were left for TVs and stove which was appreciated. Host also provided garage door opener if we wanted to park inside. Playground across the street was helpful since house backs on to highway. Master bed was very comfortable; other beds would benefit from mattress pads and cotton sheets. Bathrooms could use more supplies too (e.g., more towels, extra TP, tissues, and bar of soap). Kitchen also lacked some staples for those intending to do their own cooking (e.g., frying pan, rubber spatula, olive oil.) Overall it was a great stay. A few small improvements would easily make this five stars.
