Good
The breakfast was a good value for the money!
I didn't like eating in the bar area.I walked by and the lady said are you going to eat..I said yes...she said come on in...and I did.I was originally going to eat in the dining but didn't. When I was paying I told her she shouldn't invite patrons in with a child...I had my grandson son with me ..it was loud In there because people were drinking . .not a great place for kid.

What's that smell
We could check in early.
The room had a very musty smell, the so called sofa bed is worn out not comfortable to even sit on, dirty looking. The toilet is so close to the wall only able to sit sideways on it. The bed sinks in the middle not comfortable.. it was a good thing the windows open as we had to air out the smell of the room. I would not stay here again or recommend it to anyone. For the price we paid for 1 night not worth it.

Had a great time !
Great location! Very close to everything. The lobby and the restaurant are fantastic. I certainly loved the exterior architecture of this hotel. On 5th floor there is a spectacular patio with an amazing panoramic view.

Comfortable beds, great location but a bit expensive for rooms that could use some updating.
The location is perfect, and the lobby was beautifully decorated with flowers for Mother's day.
The hotel needs some updating, it's a beautiful historic hotel but the rooms need some love.

Upon entering the hotel we were impressed but were disappointed with noise & very uncomfortable beds
The hotel has a very lovely impression upon entering, bright and luxurious lobby and well appointee dining room that will carry you back in time. The rooms have the same yesteryear ambiance. Breakfast we were told wasn’t included when we were under the impression it was when we booked there.
Very noisy, no parking and was spoken to very abruptly “parking is first come first serve” breakfast is not included when we thought it was, beds in the rooms had one decently comfortable bed while the second was awful. My back and hips hurt everyday and two days after checkout. We moved three times in four nights dealing with noisy parting, no heat, and a bathroom that the tub base was chipped up and overall needed a refresh painting job. Each room has a connecting door to an adjoining room, great idea in theory however rather than two doors back to back it appears it’s one door which doesn’t help the noise level. Our final night the gentleman in the next room in the middle of the night started fooling with the handle enough to awake both my son and I. We turned on the tv to let him know we are awake and in the next room the door knob fumbling stopped but left us with an uneasy feeling for the rest of the night. In all likelihood he was looking for the bathroom door in his room but being woken in this manner remained unsettling nevertheless.

Comfortable - everything I needed in one place
Comfortable bed and couch, good view from window - excellent central location in Charlottetown CBD - on site meals - friendly staff.
Please - not everyone drinks coffee. The room only had a coffee maker. Yes - I know it can boil water too, but it reeked of coffee. It doesn't work for tea drinkers. Fortunately front desk staff located an electric jug.
