The house is a separate very private guest house of the main home 65 feet away from main home. I value my guests privacy but I'm always available to answer questions or fill you in on all the cool things to do around here.
This home is in a very quiet neighborhood. It has a very country type feel with deer and other wildlife readily seen.
Home is available by car only and there is no public transportation or Uber available.
This home is located about 35 minutes from downtown San Antonio. There are many parks and river access areas near the house. It's a great place to bike and run with awesome hills and flats. Great local restaurants and bars nearby and within a short drive.

The pictures don’t do this property justice. The view is incredible with the pool and hot tub sitting right by the cliffs. The owner goes above and beyond any VRBO I’ve ever experienced as far as presenting a cleanliness, directions to how everything works and supplies in the house. We enjoyed the fire pit at night and a thunderstorm from the balcony. Both amazing experiences! I feel like I’m giving up my best fishing hole

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was as described and had all the amenities needed. The view from the pool is absolutely stunning and love the peace and quiet of the country will definitely be returning.

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely 4 day stay at this rental. The pool and hot tub were very relaxing. The views were beautiful. The house was well stocked with anything you could need for a long weekend trip.

The entire stay lived up to its listing and more! We were in awe of how well thought out the house was prepared for guests to the tiniest things such as providing all the linens/towels, kitchen ware to the details for entrainment throughout the house; including pool toys, video games and card games. We wanted a getaway to relax and unwind with hill country views, yet be close to San Antonio. This property is exactly it! Can’t wait to book again.

This is our second time returning to this beautiful home. Randall was an incredible host. Communication was top notch along with the home and amenities. We hope to return next year depending on our teenagers’ busy schedules. There is so much to do in the area. I highly recommend staying here!!!

This is a beautiful place to relax and unwind. The beds are beyond comfortable. Randall is an awesome host. This is the second of his properties we've stayed at and will return to both. This was the best Vrbo we have ever stayed at! The house was beautiful, clean, plenty of towels, linens, and toiletries. We loved how comfortable the beds were. It felt like a home away from home. This property in Spring Branch was one of the nicest properties we have ever stayed. The house was extremely clean and comfortable. There were plenty of bath towels and pool towels to use along with other necessities. The location was perfect, between San Antonio and Austin. The backyard/pool view was wonderful. I would recommend this house.

We stayed with our young children and enjoyed a weekend of patio and pool relaxation. The balcony was great for coffee each morning over looking the valley.

My family stayed for a couple nights with my sister while she was visiting, 3 adults and 2 children, and we had the best time. The house had everything we needed. We enjoyed having the it come back to after exploring the hill country. We all enjoyed the pool and being able to cookout. The best part of it all was the location. The view is fantastic! I would definitely come back.

Stayed here with my wife and two teenage sons and we loved it. Great place to unwind, unplug, relax, and soak in the sun. Very quaint and quiet place to stay with beautiful views of the countryside and sunsets. Highly recommend if you're looking for a wonderful getaway.

The home and view were beautiful! Everything was very clean and it was furnished with all the necessities and the property was well maintained! The pool and outdoor area overlooked a cliff and the view was amazing! We would definitely stay in this home again! Highly recommended!

This property is amazing. Randall was very accessible and quick to respond. The weather wasn't very cooperative while we were there, but we still had a great time. Celebrated by husband's 40th birthday and it was just what we needed for a quick and special getaway. All the amenities you could possibly need.

This property was excellent! Everything was in tip top condition, the views were jaw-dropping, the jacuzzi and firepit amazing for a chilly March weekend. Great place for bird-watching and other wildlife, but so comfortable with everything you would need in the kitchen and bathrooms, along with extras like blankets and great outdoor furniture. Tons of towels, excellent special touches. We did not want to leave! Host was amazing and responsive, thought of everything!

Absolutely loved this property, myself and 2 girlfriends needed a getaway and this was perfect. Pool and hot tub plus the view is all you need. Birding galore! We hiked Guadalupe state park near by. Randall was super helpful and the house was stocked with absolutely everything you would need! So very pleased!!!

What a lovely home in a fantastic location. As the clock struck 12 for midnight, our family sat in the hot tub and watched fireworks go off across the canyon. The owner was so very nice and responsive. I would absolutely stay here again.

Loved the location, the property and of course the amazing view. The only negative was the dog next door. It was out a lot and barked most of the time it was out. Would definitely recommend this place.

My family of 4 had a wonderful stay. Our kids (9 and 7) loved swimming in the pool and spa each evening, and I enjoyed watching deer in the field below. The home had everything we needed with plenty of towels, pool towels, and a countertop ice machine. It was a convenient location for our excursions to The Comal River, Canyon Lake, and Guadalupe State Park. We enjoyed the pretty plants on the property too. We had a very relaxing stay.

We had an amazing time at Cliffside. The photos of the house and views are amazing but they still don’t do it justice. We could have spent the whole week enjoying the amenities in the home, but the location was also perfect to enjoy tons of other hill country activities. I really appreciated all the thought put into keeping the home stocked for guests, tons of towels, extra sunscreen, everything we needed to cook meals. I can only describe our stay as literally perfect! Thanks for allowing us to use your beautiful home, we can’t wait to come back!

Serene setting but close enough to civilization. Great pool overlooking canyon. Comfortable beds. Owner has thought of everything - even had a selection of sunscreens and insect repellent. Wildlife seen on site included bats, numerous deer, hummingbirds, a black squirrel, an eagle, walking stick and more.
