Nestled right on Redbud Park, this home is an inviting getaway for children and adults alike. Offering the perfect balance between indoor comfort & luxury, and access to outdoor play & picnic area. With a front porch right in the park, kids have the freedom to roam or relax on the comfy porch swing. Upon entering the home, head to the living area with room to spread out on the L-shaped couch space, that also functions as a sleeper sofa. You may feel like you are lounging in a magazine, with planked walls, high-end lake decor, and comforting pillows and throw blankets. The perfect space for a movie or game night with the whole family!
The kitchen and dining area offer ample open space, with island seating and room for cooking, there is space for the whole family to gather and spend time together. Don't miss the downstairs king-sized master with a private bathing area. Furnished with its own TV, plush bedding, and stylish lighting that will leave you feeling like royalty!

We had a wonderful stay! Only complaint was there was a ridiculous amount of flies in our rental. Not sure if the doors didn’t get closed during the clean, but that got annoying! Other than that, we’d love to come again.

We stayed here with three different families with kids of all ages. It felt a little cramped when we were all in the living room and kitchen but it still worked. House and decor are very nice and beds were comfy. I liked that they had the built in baby gate at the top and bottom of the stairs. They also had nice blackout curtains in one of the upstairs bedrooms and the master, which is nice when you are trying to get kids to sleep. I feel like a lot of rentals have very light window treatments and there is a lot of light pollution from the houses being close together and everyone having party lights. Not a big deal but one of the towel hangers was falling off the wall in the master and the upstairs tub was barely draining; I submitted a maintenance request but no one came by.

I used the Fitness Center which is small, but worked well for my purposes. I did not know where to locate the entrance code for the Center, so I would suggest you get that before you stay if you want to utilize the gym. The area is easy to navigate and plenty of activities going on to make the stay fun and enjoyable. We used Carlton Landing for a large family gathering in multiple houses and the location to everything was great. If you are looking for a peaceful, family-oriented location, I would recommend this location.

As far as the rental goes, it definitely could handle some updates. I heard after our stay it had just been sold so I believe those improvements will be made. The cleaning lady was super sweet and made sure everything was perfect for our arrival! As far as exterior goes, the front porch and home property beside the porch had a decent amount of trash that we picked up, I assume from prior renters. We also had an incurring where a guest bedroom 32 inch tv was EASILY pulled over onto my 4 year old. The tv broke, and we made sure it was known we would pay for it. But this situation was very irritating given we found another broken tv under the bed in that same room. This is apparently a reoccurring issue and just stinks that we had to pay 250.00 for a problem that should have been taken care of before us. And thank goodness it wasn’t a crushed child we were dealing with. This rental, needs to have all their tv’s secured to the wall, as I would assume most rentals are!! Thanks

Carlton Landing is beyond beautiful. It is so well kept and groomed. Our stay at the Red bud house was perfect. There was lots of room the decor was beautiful and it had everything we needed. Home was beautiful and clean, well stocked, amenities were great, rental was a little pricey but we assumed would be worth extra dollars, we were wrong, parking was horrible, rental management was the worst we have ever experienced, phone was not answered (during business hours) texts were not returned in a timely manner. We became desperate so we called emergency number, it was out of service, we will never go back.

We stayed at the Redbud for Thanksgiving. There were seven of us, 5 adults and two children. The house is advertised as sleeping 13 but it would have been very crowded with that many. The house was very cute and nicely furnished but the living room sofa had several spots and stains and some items in the kitchen didn't appear clean. For example, the glass stove-top had sticky residue on it which was easily removed when we cleaned it. They need to provide glass stove-top cleaner. The biggest issue we had was lack of privacy. The window coverings were completely transparent at night and anyone passing by could clearly see into the bedrooms. Also, there is no place to put decorative bed pillows at night except the floor, no closet or chest of drawer space in the master bedroom and no luggage racks. There was only one small bar of soap in the master bedroom and none in the other two bathrooms. Fortunately we brought our own bottles of hand soap. We had problems with getting TV reception the entire time. Management was helpful in getting one working in time for the kids to watch The Macy's Thanksgiving parade and football later, but we were instructed to leave the TV on all night because they might not be able to get it back. The one they were finally able to get working was in the living room, the other three never worked. This is a provider issue they have and something to be aware of if you visit. Be sure and bring your own dish-washing supplies if you are staying more than a couple of days because they provide very little.

This was the second year for us at Carlton Landing. The house was beautiful and clean and a very peaceful location on Redbud Park. Kayla was very helpful. We were not able to receive cell phone service because we were all on AT&T & Sprint. She tried her best to get the landline working in the house but was not able to. We were not able to call hospitality or each other while there. It would be nice if the owners could have a landline working for guests in cases like this especially for emergencies. We had no way to call 911.

It was outstanding! While we had stayed at Carlton Landing before, we had never rented the Redbud Cottage. In doing so this time, we couldn't have been more satisfied. It was clean, well designed and furnished, high end, and comfortable. The best part was starting and ending our days in the rocking chairs on the front porch, even our son loved the kid sized rocking chair we discovered on the porch hook our arrival.

Quiet and Relaxing Spring Break. Loved this house and the floor plan. We enjoyed sitting out on the porch at night and the house worked well for our large group. The loft sleeping area for the kiddos was perfect. The beds were comfy and overall it was another amazing stay at Carlton Landing A couple of suggestions: 1. Hooks or towel racks for the towels in the bathrooms would really help. It's not environmentally responsible to wash towels after every use. Laundering them after a few uses is more in line- but there weren't places to hang them and I've worked hard to train my crew to not throw towels on the floor. This left us draping them over doors, hanging them in closets- etc., just an inexpensive thing that would go along way in keeping your linens in good shape 2. Dish soap, trash bags, paper towels etc., I rent a lot of vacation homes. These are items that are generally provided because they help renters take good care of the property. If the house sleeps 11 people, then a small 2 oz bottle of dish soap won't last long. I want to take good care of the owner's property. Windex. Paper towels. Dish soap. Trash bags. These items help. I want to clean my child's hand print off the glass if he forgets and touches it.... I'm hoping to one day buy in Carlton landing and offer my home up for rent during the season. I notice these things & am not trying to be snarky. For the nightly rate paid.. have a box of trash bags. Basic cleaning provisions so that we can take good care of the property. My travel tub of Clorox wipes will only take a girl so far :)A great property. Loved our stay. Don't love calling property mgmt to beg for more trash bags
