From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave everyone at Grand Solmar takes great care of you. The views and property are breathtaking and well maintained- the fitness center is top notch, the food is outstanding- the people there are gracious and helpful. It gave our family a chance to truly unwind and rest. I’m already missing it all and can’t wait to go back. It was a truly fantastic vacation and our whole family enjoyed it all. Thank you to Matthew for sharing his place and providing quick responses to all my questions. I would highly recommend to anyone!!

Our family just finished our stay at the Grand Solmar and it exceeded our expectations. Everything there was top notch and the Presidential Suite had more room than we knew what to do with. We would definitely stay there again in the future.

Had an amazing, relaxing, fun week at the Grand Solmar! This was our third time there. First time was 21 years ago on our honeymoon - and this time we were there celebrating one of our three boys’ graduations, as well as our anniversary. Matthew was super helpful and responsive helping book the accommodations- The lock-off was a perfect set up for us all. The five of us were all together but also had tons of privacy. So much space, huge decks, beautiful decor and breathtaking views with the sound of the waves right outside the door. All of the staff is kind and helpful, the Concierge found us last minute fishing and zip-lining trips, as well as great restaurant reservations. Live music at the sports bar and the Infinity pool with the swim up bar is the best! Looking forward to our next getaway in Cabo someday down the road, and we will always stay at Grand Solmar- it’s one of the main reasons we keep coming back!

Awesome property. If you are in Cabo and need a place to stay Grand Solmar Lands End is the place to stay. This is a high end hotel/timeshare place. Do not be put off by the timeshare. At no point did anyone ask me to attend a presentation. The staff is top notch and will go out of their way to do everything possible to make you vacation as pleasant as possible. The rooms and resort is always clean and pictures do not do it justice. Every unit faces the ocean with spectacular views. Plenty of pool space and chairs. The complex has a no chair saving policy so there really is no "towel" game at this place. If you can not find a space at the main pool their are plenty of other pools with views and service as good as or better then the main pool. The owner of this condo was awesome to work with. He followed up with me through the reservation process as well as during my stay. I highly recommend renting this unit.

We just returned from an amazing week at Grand Solmar resort. From the time that we booked with Matt, the resort concierge reached out and answered all of our questions. The suite was perfect for the family (mom, dad, two kids under 10 and grandma) with plenty of space to relax after a long day in the sun. The unit includes a large master suite with a king, a second bedroom with two queen beds, and den area with a Murphy bed and TV that the kids loved and claimed as their 'own'. The unit has a full kitchen and with the kids we made breakfast and a couple of dinners - while we missed the fact that the kitchen didn't have a dishwasher, with daily housekeeping, it wasn't really an issue. The suite was in building 8 and the units are configured with two per floor. During a portion of our stay we had people staying in the unit next to us and below us, but never heard anything through the walls. The resort generally is very quite with a request for no noise after 10pm that everyone adheres to. The resort itself is beautiful and the building had an infinity pool; however, we ended up spending more time at the two main large pools where our kids preferred to play - the pools are only about 4ft deep so great for kids that are tall enough and can swim and not to worry, there are a couple of pools that are adults only so you also have the opportunity to relax without someone screaming marco polo and splashing around. The ocean is beautiful to look at but with the riptides, that's about all you can do - we did take a trip to Medano Beach, but greatly preferred the uncluttered quietness of the resort. The food at the resort is delicious, with reasonable prices and we ate at every restaurant on site including the 'theme' night dinner the resort had one evening. After an awesome fishing trip, La Roca made us ceviche, sashimi, and grilled and baked dishes that were absolutely amazing. The mixed drinks were pretty tame (and relatively expensive) so we stuck with wine. The staff at the resort is wonderful and gave us great recommendations and help set up a couple of trips, including the aforementioned amazing fishing trip. My everyone on staff (or everyone we encountered) speaks english so not having spanish proficiency is not an issue. And finally, Matt - this was our first VBRO booking and we were a bit concerned - after a couple of emails and a phone call, we were sold and will be back THANK YOU MATT!

Had a great trip with a family of 5! With a 19,16 and 13 year old all in one room, you never know how it might go in close quarters. This place was amazing! 3 bedrooms with 3 full bathrooms! One of the rooms is a den with no door and a Murphy Bed...but for a 16 year old boy, having a his own bed and a TV was just perfect! So let's talk room first....you just heard a little of that on the den/Murphy Bed. The main area was very comfortable and spacious for all of us. A large 10 person table, plenty of places to lounge and watch TV, a full kitchen, etc. So...no dishwasher! No worries! You get full cleaning service EVERYDAY, to include your dishes! Master bedroom was spectacular...second bedroom had two doubles and a full bath with access to the huge balcony. Speaking of balconies....the furniture on the balcony was legit! 6" cushions and all brand new, high end quality. The resort itself was perfect for our family. We used the pools, the fitness center (crazy nice), the restaurants (mainly for lunch). Very expensive for booze by the pool...$14.00 for a watered down drink? Crazy? So, do your drinking in the room or downtown. Food poolside was really, really good! Downtown was so accessible. For 5 of us it was a 10.00 cab/van to go pretty much anywhere.....we did this everyday. We would have walked more...but, it was really humid while we were there. My final recommendations should you go are restaurants: Roasted...you must go here! La Pintada...super good place for lunch (2 for 1 wood fired pizza) and they have decent beer they make right there. Romeo and Juliet was excellent and very reasonable. We will be back for sure...such and great time and Matthew was super helpful every step of the way! Thanks for all the great tips!

Had a great trip! The suite was amazing with a huge balcony. While at the resort, we spent most our time either in one of the many pools or on our balcony. The staff was so friendly! The gym was the nicest resort gym I've ever used. Cabo has something for everyone and can't say enough great things about this resort and how easy it was to book this suite. Matthew is very responsive. Highly recommend!
