About this house rental

4 Bedroom, 2.5 bathrooms with generous open plan kitchen/dining area and separate lounge and reading room. It offers a private, spacious and relaxing garden, fully fenced for your four legged family members with undercover deck.
Easy walk to nearby shops and restaurants. Great place to base yourself for all the activities Mansfield and surrounds offer including easy access to the snow fields via Mt Buller or Mt Stirling. Many water access points for swimming, fishing or boating. The hiking is amazing in this part of the world.

“Pops cottage in Mansfield was perfect for a group of 5 ladies, for a catch up. The house was very tastefully decorated and was spacious bedrooms and living areas. The Kitchen was very well equipped, with quality wine and Champagne glasses, and a large supply of crockery, platters, trays, plastic containers and utensils. The kitchen was spotless; fantastic bench space and large table to comfortably seat us with plenty of room for platters, salad bowls etc on the table.
The main bedroom has a large ensuite with shower and quality fittings; the 2nd bathroom had a bath and shower. The house had 3 toilets; great for 5 guests!
We loved the verandah area and spent most of our time on the verandah or in the shady garden, sharing dinner or drinks and relaxing.
Easy walking distance to the street (less than 10 minutes) and minimal traffic. We felt the house was good value and very comfortable! 10 out of 10!
We will be back for another relaxing ladies weekend !

We loved the personal touches, seperate spaces that allowed us to spread out and socialise as 2 families groups with teenagers enjoying the living room and adults enjoying the comfortable dining options. Cooking was made easy by having a great spice rack and some basics in the fridge and cupboard and the decor was fresh and elegant and beds were comfortable. A big rear fenced garden and dog bed and waterbowl was perfect for our dog. Thanks so much for creating such a welcoming space.

Very conveniently located to shops, hotels & restaurants. Pops place provided all the comfort & space for the whole family. This made our family catch up so much more enjoyable. Thank you Pop 5 🌟

Clean and comfy little house within walking distance to town centre. Heaps of space for my partner and I, plus my parents and our two dogs. Back yard was well shaded and secured so the dogs could be left alone for a few hours while we explored.

Loved this property. House was gorgeous and well equipped. Enclosed yard great for our little dog. Lovely and shady with great outdoor area. Short walk into Mansfield. Would definitely stay again!

My husband and I stayed with our daughter and dog. Considerable effort has been made to ensure the back yard is secure, with chicken wire buried below ground in any gaps between the fence and the ground. The kitchen and pantry were generously stocked and we were comfortable during our stay.

Perfect base to explore the high country

Everything is as advertised. So spacious, we comfortably fit 4 adults, 2 children and 3 dogs. Beds were comfortable, well stocked kitchen, plenty of storage and space to enjoy each other’s company or have space to yourself. Secure backyard for the furry friends. Seamless check in and check out. Short walk into town, quiet and peaceful escape. One of the best places we’ve stayed. Highly recommend you stay at this gorgeous home.

The house was great and we had a really wonderful weekend in Mansfield. It was a lovely house in a beautiful garden. The only concerns were the fridge and the dishwasher. The dishwasher is unsafe ,(nearly fell over twice) and does not do a good job and everytime you open the freezer door it moves the freezer. But overall a very positive stay.

We were up for a wedding and the house was perfect for my parents, partner and child. Plenty of space to spread out and a very well appointed kitchen wise. Deck was lovely for relaxing, only comment would be that the living room couch a little tired and hard to sit on.

We arrived late in the day for a 3 night stay to celebrate our 46th Wedding anniversary where we found the TV's had no reception, the WIFI did not work and the Washing Machine did not work and had not been for sometime but was never mentioned when the property was booked. When we rang to tell them of the issues a manager came around and was not happy with us and was quite rude and could not fix the problems and then left so we spent 2 nights with no TV which might not be an issue for everyone but at night there is not a lot to do in Mansfield. My husband managed to get the internet working though so that was a bonus . Place was clean inside with but not outside and the Barbecue was not one that you would use. Owner would not refund our money even though we only stayed 2 nights out of the 3 booked. We would never stay here again and do not recommend this property.

We stayed for two weeks and family loved the house and access by foot to Mansfield. We can see this becoming our regular go to for our January holiday. Easy parking for boat on front of the house. No need to reverse in . Mitch.

A lovely little cottage and perfect for a family or couples . Close to the Howqua Valley and all the activities. We stayed here for a wedding and it was a great choice rather than a motel or camping area. Travelling from Qld and not really knowing the area it was a perfect pick. Our only negative was the washing machine was broken and we didn’t know until we arrived.

Beautiful location for a family getaway

My husband and I spent a week here after Christmas with our 3 adult children, their partners and a dog. The house is really lovely and spacious, extremely well appointed and in close walking distance to the centre of town. The backyard is very secure, the surrounds very peaceful, the verandah is fantastic and we made use of the available bbq often. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect location to relax and explore the area.

Our party of 6 adults and 1 infant thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ultimate Ultimo. There was plenty of room, especially in the master bedroom where there’s a king bed as well as enough room for a portacot. The kitchen was well stocked, the BBQ though small was very useful and the option to eat inside or out was fantastic. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms sufficient. The back yard was a beautiful spot to sit and relax when sunny and the shops were only a 10min walk away. I would recommend this house to anyone.
