Turn right at the end of the driveway and you can almost see the beach access, and an easy 5 minute walk gets you on the beach, especially with new bridges. This Sea Pines vacation rental is centrally located for an easy bike ride to the South Beach Marina Village, Harbourtown, the Sea Pines Nature Preserve or Lawton Stables. Owners rarely use their car once on island. The lot is lovely with lots of big shade trees and is situated on a very large lagoon that feels more like a lake. You can practically step right into the sweet backyard pool from the living space! This original 4 bedroom, 3 bath home provides a casual, comfortable family vibe making it a great Sea Pines vacation home for your next visit!

There is a original tiled entry with a few steps up to the first floor. On the first floor you have a living room with a raised, tiled fireplace (not for guest use), large flat-screen smart TV, and wall-to-wall sliding glass doors, with additional new seating. The dining room is adjacent and also has large sliding glass doors. Both of these rooms open immediately onto a paved-stone pool deck with lounge chairs, patio dining table that seats 6, and a elevated full view of the lake-like lagoon. There is an outdoor shower (cold water) and large grill as well. Take the rechargeable bluetooth radio outside or anywhere in the property and play music off any connected device. The compact but useful, fully-equipped kitchen, with cabinets built by original owner, recently opened up to include a bar counter into the dining room. Adjacent to the kitchen is a handy mud room to store all your beach, golf, and summer activity gear, which opens directly onto the front service yard and to the driveway for easy access to store chairs, bikes, etc. Also has full washer and dryer with utility sink On this first floor there is also a quiet, shaded bedroom with a double bed and flat-screen smart TV. This bedroom has a small en-suite bathroom with a tub/shower and handicapped railing, making it ideal for guests with limited mobility. This bathroom conveniently serves the living areas.

Heading up the floating wooden staircase you will immediately notice the original 10’-plus slim-panel windows on the landing, going all the way up to the ceiling of the 2nd floor. This gives both light and original style to the front of the house in original Sea Pines design.

On the second floor there are 3 bedrooms and 2 baths: the Master bedroom has a King bed, large sliding-glass doors onto a small wooden balcony that overlooks the pool and lagoon (enjoy morning coffee on small table and chairs provided), and bath with tiled walk-in shower, double-sink vanity, and nice dressing area with its own sliding-glass doors and small balcony. Large smart TV. The other 2 upstairs bedrooms sleep 8 total, and are perfect for super-flexible sleeping arrangements. The "boys" room has a queen bed and a bunk bed. The "girls" room has a queen and a bunk bed that contains a double bed on the bottom. Both bedrooms have flat-screen TVs with built in DVD players, sliding-glass doors that open onto very small balconies, and they share a tiled bath with tub/shower.

All new doors and windows, new roof and new flooring. Beach cart with some beach toys, umbrella and chairs left for guests (if left by previous guests).

Wifi throughout home, Spectrum cable, all new flat panel TVs and smart TVs or DVD players include netflix, amazon and other apps that you can sign into and use. Front driveway with circular entrance is paved with in-bedded shells and can park numerous cars.

The house was the perfect location for our needs and wants. The dining room table endured many laughs, lots of domino games and meals while we made many very cherished memories! Just the right number of bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate a family of 7 adults and a toddler ;-). Plenty of bed and bath linens, as well as kitchen wares to cook family dinners. The pool and deck could use a little extra TLC with all the tree’s in yard. The patio furniture needed to cleaned (again most likely due to the tree’s) and the pool definitely needed cleaning. We had paid the extra fee for the heated pool and did need to call the Owners and let me know that the pool wasn’t ready for us. The Owners sent someone out within an hour to remedy the problem. The decks off the bedroom also needed to be cleaned off. As an Owner of a STR property in a lakefront community, if we could offer one suggestion it would be to hire a more thorough property management company and or cleaning company. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and made cherished memories for a lifetime! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

This property is one of the dirtiest and shabbiest properties I have ever stayed in. The pictures on the website are old and do not show the property as it currently looks. The master bathroom had two sinks that were clogged and filled with black water and the shower was so moldy and filthy that you could hardly slide the shower door through it. When we arrived the pool was cloudy and a disgusting green color.
