We had an absolutely amazing time at this property. The brand new construction was decorated so bright and gorgeous. You can't help but to feel happy here! Everything on the property was clean and neat. We enjoyed the outside setting as much if not more than the interior. The pool was so very enjoyable. We spent many hours outside under the hut. Linens and towels were soft and new. My husband enjoyed watching tv in the outside bar area in the evenings. We loved that this property provided beach chairs and bicycles. This was so handy, especially when flying into town. We enjoyed riding bicycles to all of the local bars and restaurants. It was fun exploring the island. The hosts were a delight. I would definitely recommend this property to others. We plan on returning! Thank you for your kindness!

Absolutely gorgeous property! The hosts, Karen and Mark have attended to every little detail for their guests! The outdoor area is the star of the show! The pool was amazing and we spent so much time out under the tiki hut on the dock. The inside decor is adorable! Very bright and tropical. It has a well appointed kitchen and the unit was very clean. The location is perfect. You are just 2 blocks from the beach and the Times Square/downtown area. Easy access to bridge on and off island. But the area is very quiet at night. I would highly recommend this property!

We had a wonderful time during our stay at Parrot Eyes FMB. This gem is conveniently located within a 3-5 minute walk to several great restaurants that are right on the waterfront and also about a 5 minute walk to the beach. No car needed. We walked everywhere. The house itself is all up-to-date and beautifully remodeled, and was clean upon arrival. The kitchen has everything you need for your stay. The outside area has an awesome lounge on the canal and the private, heated pool is perfect for relaxing if you need a change of pace from the beach. Karen and Mark could not have been more accommodating and were very quick to respond to any questions we had during our stay. A perfect spot for our long weekend. We can't wait to get back for another visit.

My Husband, myself, sister-in-law and brother-in-law stayed for two nights. We couldn’t be happier with our choice of accommodations! The decorations throughout the house were amazing, the house itself so cozy and perfect for a weekend getaway! Then you have the outside living space the is beyond measure!!! Just beautiful and beautifully decorated!!!! We used the grill one night, relaxed in the pool and sat under the tiki! We will be coming back!!!!! 5 stars all the way! Thank you Karen and Mark!!! We had an amazing time at this property. Karen was a great hostess and always quick to respond. All of the decor was absolutely beautiful. We had everything we needed and would definitely consider booking again.

Gosh this house far surpassed our expectations. Karen was amazing answering all of my questions before we even arrived. Karen and Mark were terrific taking care of the property and letting us know they were there for us without ever being intrusive. The location of the house is amazing, you can walk to amazing restaurants and shops, the pool and canal views are an absolute showstopper, we spent so much time out there playing games, floating around and chatting. Everything was perfect and just what we needed for this trip!! We will absolutely visit again.

My boyfriend and I had a great 4 night stay at Karen and Mark’s paradise. It was more than we could have hoped for. We rented a car….because my boyfriend wanted to drive to the different beaches in a convertible, but it definitely wasn’t necessary. You can Uber to the place from the airport and then everything you need is within walking distance. The shops and restaurants are one street over. Super close, yet not loud at all. The beach is two blocks up. The place was super clean and very nicely decorated inside and out. We went to the beach most mornings then sat by the pool in the afternoon. We ate somewhere new everyday. The food places were affordable and the food was good. Neither of us eat seafood and there was still plenty to chose from. There was live music everyday. The town was clean and safe. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners who were super nice. They go out if their way to make sure that they stay out of your way so having them living upstairs was not an issue. We plan to return with our teenagers next year-either winter or summer as they are jealous they missed out on our fabulous getaway! If you are looking for a relaxing vacation highly recommend staying here. You honestly will not be disappointed.

Parrot Eyes was perfect for our stay. It was my husband and I, our 12 year old daughter and her friend and the space fit us just right. It had all the amenities we needed and you could not beat the location - literally around the corner from Times Square. Privacy was NOT an issue and Karen was available for any questions we had. This gorgeous property is located right in the middle of the action on Fort Myers Beach. All of the restaurants, shops & beach are within easy walking distance. The house is beautiful and has everything you could ever need. The pool and lounge areas were so great we didn't want to go anywhere else. Having great hosts who are super friendly made this an even better place to stay.

Wanted to thank Karen for letting us enjoy there beautiful property. I will definitely recommend there hospitality to everyone who is looking for a place to stay. Can’t beat the location, everything is within a walking distance.

An amazing place.

The location is perfect, very close to the restaurants and the beach. My family and I stayed there for 4 days and everything was great. The pool and outside area is very cool and a nice way to end a beach day. The new pullout couch is a nice improvement and pretty comfortable. The owners are cool as well, and very accommodating. We will stay again for sure.

I’ve stayed at this property before and was just as I remembered. Place was clean, owners very attentive and considerate.

This is a great place to stay and very close to downtown Ft Myers Beach. Convenient and quiet with a beautiful outdoor living area. We originally booked for how close it was to the bars and restaurants but ultimately hung out at the house all day enjoying the well appointed back yard and pool. Mark and Karen were great hosts and I look forward to booking again in the future. I highly recommend!

My husband and I truly enjoyed this property and it's wonderful and friendly owners, Karen and Mark. Always available for any issues or questions we had with quick responses. Incredibly respectful of our space and never interfered. The private pool and waterfall were wonderful as was the whole backyard. The pictures are accurate and we spent each morning and afternoon under the palapa having coffee and reading a book. Witnessed manatees, a dolphin and fish swim by!! What a treat. The walk from the home to Times Square is 5 minutes, literally as I timed it myself. Same time to walk to Snug Harbor for lunch/dinner and I highly recommend this restaurant over many others for fresh fish. Per the staff, the fish is caught that morning and brought over. Saw numerous dolphins swimming at the pier, by the restaurant, around 6:00 pm. Finally, I thought not being ON the beach would disappoint me, however, I found it to be such an advantage; to be able to walk in from the hot sun, for a snack, bathroom break, cold refreshment, or nap or some A/C, is worth it's weight in gold.

This place is perfection! I felt so relaxed the entire time. The hosts have supplied you with everything you need!

Outdoor space was amazing. Location was so convenient yet quiet and peaceful. We had a great stay. Look forward to another visit.

A+ for location & floor plan. A++ for outdoor space (pool, dock, TIKI HUT <3). Would give it 4 stars if not for the fact thatthe 1st level was supposed to be ours ALONE but the owners came into our "private" space WAY too often which made us VERY uncomfortable. (We are private people, sorry?). Wednesday, they had friends over (?!)...let a child swim in the pool, took their boat out, proceeded to clean the boat while we sat 2' from them on the dock. SO AWKWARD!?!? They asked us Tues. evening (in person!) if it was Ok and we said "Sure" but only bc we felt VERY awkward saying (to their face!!) "No, we don't want you in our paid-for private space?" SO, we had NO use of the deck all day Wed. bc we had no idea when they'd be back from their boat trip so we hermited inside... (I'm going to request my $ back for that day as we didn't get what we paid for - and I'm not typically a complianer.) We weren't comfortable walking around freely or with the blinds open which is a shame bc the view/ambience is GREAT. I'd BUY the place but it was weird knowing the owners could walk into our space any time. One morning I'm doing yoga in the LR (blinds open bc I WANT the sunshine!?) and the (Male - so uncomfortable?) owner is outside tinkering around?... Fri. morning we walk into the kitchen to see Karen watering plants right outside our window...Bizarre! Thankfully we were dressed. Listing says guests have private use of the space but...never seen anything like it w/prior VRBOs. Owners WERE responsive to requests (ironing board, toilet paper) - A++ - but the space was very cluttered for our taste. We got used to that and found it "charmingly eclectic." That said, LOTS of the owner's belongings were in the bathrooms/closets/garage, and that also made us uncomfortable. Bathroom ceiling vents desperately need cleaned. Oven didn't work - needs to be replaced. Had to keep moving the frying pan so the burner stayed on when we made eggs. We baked cookies one night and the stove burnt them black in 5 min (We didn't need them anyway!). Coffee maker (it's gross) needs to be replaced as do the baking sheets. But there were plenty of kitchen supplies to use. Dishwasher is getting old and needs to be replaced soon - very loud and squeaky - but operational. Bed was comfortable. Towels need to be replaced as they have that mildewy smell even after they're washed/dried w/dryer sheets. In all, I suggest fewer "things" with better quality; just an overall refresh. AND PRIVACY PLEASE

Such a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The saltwater pool was lovely and so many places to just sit and relax! Everything was clean and comfortable and it was so convenient to everything on the beach. Highly recommend and hope to stay again

Everything was very tidy and well thought out as far as lay out and overall usefulness of the space! Perfect back deck to enjoy by the pool with kids when they needed a break from the beach and perfectly close to walk to any ammentities that were needed!

Parrot Eyes was a perfect vacation home! We had everything we needed and more. The property was amazing. Our favorite place to be was in the gorgeous outdoor space. The pool, watching the boats in the canal, the outdoor kitchen- by far beyond what we expected! Being able to walk to the beach and restaurants were also a highlight. We would love to come back some day!

“Parrot Eyes” (paradise), was a wonderful place to stay. On a canal with a nice warm pool, whimsical decor, and easy walk to town and restaurants on Fort Meyer’s Beach. Owners, Karen and Mark, were helpful and gave us two bike to use during our stay. We loved going on long bike rides. The condo was well equipped, including everything you need to walk to the close by beach for the day. Big plus for us was they allow dogs❤️

The house is well stocked and clean. We enjoyed the outdoor space immensely. Easy walking or biking access to all on Fort Myers activities. Mark was great to work with! Thanks for opening up your space. We loved it!

Great outdoor area and super walkable

This property has everything you could possibly need. It was private yet 2 blocks from many establishments for eating and drinking and 4 blocks from the beach. Our group spent most of our time outdoors and the weather was perfect. Thank you for sharing your property with us. We will definitely be back.
