This attractive and well-maintained apartment is located on the second of a two floor Villa and is situated less of 200 mt walking distance from the town center of Sorrento.
Surrounded by a beautiful Italian Garden and overlooking the Bay of Naples this property offers stunning views of Vesuvio and the Sorrentine Coastline. Villa Donna Elisa has No Pool, the client can access to the neighbor Hotel Vittoria ' pool for an extra charge ( admtion not guarantee, at Hotel discretion).

Outstanding Villa with stunning views across the bay. Everything is on your doorstep, restaurants, bars, shopping and the harbour for day trips by boat. The gardens in the Villa are stunning and it’s very quiet which is very welcomed as Sorrento town is very busy.

Villa Donna Elise has everything you can ask for. Location, location, location! Close to Piazza Tasso, Marina Piccola and Grande, trains, buses, restaurants and shopping to name a few. Oh, did I mention the most spectacular view you’ll have the joy of enjoying everyday?! They say artwork can never replicate the beauty of nature. When you see this view, you’ll appreciate that statement more than ever. This villa was one of the vacation highlights of my life. From check in to checkout everything was perfect. Bruno and Frederica made sure they were there to help with anything we needed. From rides to tours to restaurant recommendations, they couldn’t have been more helpful. If you’re looking for a truly memorable vacation experience, book this Villa today.

The Villa is centrally located and an easy walk to everything in Sorrento. The train station is a 5 minute walk.
Communication with Bruno was very good. His assistant, Federica, communicated with us on the day of our arrival as we were coming from Naples on the ferry.
The Villa was everything we hoped for during our stay. The view was spectacular. And the garden as you enter the property was beautiful.
There were a couple of minor issues, which Federica quickly resolved so as not to disrupt our stay.
We would definitely stay at the Villa again when we return to Sorrento.

The view from this Villa is breathtakingly beautiful!! The gardens are so manicured and well tended. Sunsets from terrace are the best. The Villa was clean and well stocked. No oven but we managed with gas stove top and microwave. Washer/dryer combo was great but takes a while to dry clothing. The location was perfect, as well, being a very short walk to Tasso square. The only down side was that the Checkin process was brief and not very informative but the host’s assistant responded quickly to our inquiries. Overall, would come back to rent this villa every year if I could. Loved Sorrento and Villa Donna Elisa❤️

We loved our stay at this apartment. It was in an ideal location close to the town, for ease of access to restaurants, shops, train station and the port. The apartment was set in a beautiful and tranquil garden so you didn’t feel like you were so close to the centre and the views from the balcony were amazing. The apartment itself was well equipped and spacious. We would love to go back and stay there again.

Oh my . . the view is unbelievable! Coming home to this villa is a respite ! Sorrento is busy, noisy and hot in the sun. The villa offers cooling shade, quiet, stunning gardens and a breathtaking view of Vesuvius and Naples Bay. It is impeccably clean - decor is old world Italian - big bedrooms and bathrooms. We stayed here at the end of a jammed packed Italian trip - it was the perfect way to relax at the end!
My only word of suggestion . . I wish I had seen a photo of the gate from the street side prior to our arrival. We only found our way with the help of a kindly cab driver. We should have had better arrival info from our VRBO host. There is a very locked and imposing gate on the street side - thankfully our cab driver knew how to ring the bell and thankfully someone let us in. Because I had never seen a photo of the gate, I didn’t recognize it when I saw it and wasn’t sure I was at the right place - And then had no idea how to access entry. I would suggest more specific arrival information.
The villa is five stars and more. We loved it.

This was truly one of the most beautiful apartments we’ve stayed in. It’s in a great location, too, close to the city, but far enough away that it’s quiet. Bruno was very easy to work with, and we appreciate all his help. The apartment is huge, and the views are stunning. You will not be disappointed if you stay in this apartment.

This is a delightful, beautiful and peaceful property and is just like the pictures. Walking distance from the piazza, shops and restaurants. Very clean and we loved the views. was perfect for two couples stayed a week.

Living as an Italian Countess
If you want to step back in time and feel like an Italian Countess pls do not hesitate to book this property! If you want gracious living, beautiful surroundings and charm, book this property! If you want views, gardens and details… book this property! Everything about this place is classy, including Bruno!
However, if you are wild, loud and stupid please don’t book this property it’s not for you and frankly I hate to even think of you ruining the culture and peacefulness of the villa.
The bedrooms are classy, and the closets look like out of Vogue magazine. The views are stunning and although the Villa is older it’s well maintained and clean!! I wish my house sparkled like this. One small note is aren’t a lot of cooking utensils but I’m sure if you ask Bruno for a few things he will provide. (Maybe a spatula for making eggs in the morning but who wants to cook when you’re surrounded by restaurants! Literally that is the only thing I can think of to mention but make scrambled eggs and you’ll have no trouble!)
The Villa itself is steps from everything! Walk out the Villa gate and you’re ready for any adventure. It’s all there.
Bruno arranged for transportation and tours and I wish all of my life was this easy. The tour/ transportation (Rosa and Luigi) company is 5 starts and they are accommodating and lovely people!! We were lost in Naples trying to return the rental car and with one phone call, several texts and our cluelessness they tracked us down and got us settled. What could have been a disaster was saved by their diligence. Tip well! They deserve it! Knowledgeable and a great resource for traveling the area. I understand sometimes Americans have been disrespectful and messy when touring in their vans or being transported…if that’s your style ( or lack thereof) find another company because these are real Italians, doing real jobs and giving it 100%. Please respect their culture and them. Our little travel group would return to Italy just to see them.
So…book with confidence! The Villa is way beyond expectations and without a doubt a beautiful place to make memories.

Amazing Stay!
We had an amazing stay in Sorrento! The house/property is absolutely beautiful. Was clean, comfortable, and the location is perfect to enjoy Sorrento and the entire Amalfi coast! Bruno was very helpful with finding activities and giving great recommendations! We hope to return soon!!!

Wonderful spot in Sorrento
Fantastic spot ! The Villa is near to everything , includes all your wants ! We had evening wine and cocktails in the Garden every night that includes a beautiful view of the harbor and sea . Great for 2 couples! The grounds are spectacular! Owner and Manager were so helpful! If you’re considering other units , spend the additional money and stay here. This is the premier Villa in Sorrento! Hands down !

Had a wonderful 7 night stay here. As per the many previous reviews, this is such a tranquil spot directly overlookIng the Bay of Naples. The villa space is enormous, each room being far bigger than depicted in the photos. It is so nicely furnished. The many terraces are so well set out, furnished & shaded, with views to die for. Extremely comfortable sleeps. Very central for Sorrento but no noise whatsoever. Bruno and madam Elisa were extremely welcoming, but never intrusive. Anyone who needs strong WiFi needs to be aware it was a bit flaky, with no signal in the master bedroom, but It was generally fine in the living rooms and on the terraces. Wish we were still there!

A dream stay!
We booked this property knowing what the pictures looked like, but when we checked in it was better than expected! The villa is gorgeous! Such a comfortable and spacious apartment on the second floor with amazing views of the Bay of Naples, Vesuvius, and the Sorrento port. We were in love with the beautifully manicured gardens all around with orange and lemon trees that we were told we could pick from whenever we wanted. The owner, Elisa, is so nice and greeted us when we first arrived but we also enjoyed talking with her throughout our stay. She is a joy! Merky and Bruno were also very attentive and nice during checkin and on WhatsApp whenever we had questions. We traveled with my son who still sleeps in a crib. They were able to accommodate us by supplying an additional bed for the first night and then when we came back from our day trip the following evening, we were surprised to find they had set up a baby crib with linens and pillow! The added bonus was housekeeping each day which was an unexpected surprise for a home stay. We so enjoyed our time in Sorrento, and coming back to this villa each night made it that much better! We are already talking about how if we returned to Sorrento we would have to rent this again, thank you for the beautiful experience!

Excellent property. Appreciated rubbish etc being removed each day. Found a previous guests underwear in one of the drawers. Only negative point, which the renter can't do anything about, was the sometimes intrusive noise from the boats in the port. Overall a very enjoyable stay in an excellent property close to the centre of Sorrento.

Amazing Experience
Staying in this lovely villa was truly a wonderful experience from beginning to end. We were a group of 4 and had the second floor of this lovely home located high up on a cliff overlooking the ocean. The ocean views from every room, both balcony bedrooms and from a large outdoor patio are spectacular! The property is marvelously landscaped and has a sitting area in the garden area overlooking the ocean. There are lemon trees, many varieties of roses, palm trees and so many other flowers and shrubs that are just beautiful in this professionally cared for property. The experience of our 5 day stay exceeded our expectations by a lot!

We were in Italy with our daughter and wanted to find something perfect to see the Amalfi coast. This is a charming villa in the perfect location and excellent views of the ocean. It's quiet at nice but close enough to walk to many restaurants and sites. It would be helpful to have a list of recommended restaurants as there are so many to choose from. The beds are superb! This is a great for a family or two couples. Each bedroom has private bathrooms. The layout of the villa is perfect!

Glorious stay in Sorrento!
Perfectly located, just steps from the center of Sorrento and the Circumvesuviana train station and Michelin-rated restaurants. A sublime property, situated in the middle of a lush garden filled with lemons, oranges and roses. And the view -- Vesuvius to the right, the Sorrento coast to the left, and Naples across the way, twinkling in the distance at night. You won't want to leave -- we certainly didn't.

Perfect villa in Sorrento
Our family of four (two teens) loved Villa Donna Elisa in Sorrento. It was the perfect distance to everything we wanted to do. The view was amazing. The kitchen was well stocked and the villa was very clean. The bathrooms were huge compared to others in Italy. Our only criticism was the spotty wifi. It could definitely use an upgrade. The air conditioning was a welcome relief after the hot days. We would highly recommend this villa. Mrs. Elisa was so kind and helpful too!

Incredible Sorrento oasis steps from city center
I highly recommend Villa Donna Elisa! This second floor apartment is huge, meticulously clean, high quality furnishings, multiple sea view patios, and set in a exceptionally large magnificent garden one block from the center of everything on a cliff overlooking the sea. It is truly an oasis! Incredibly safe as you enter through a discreet gate into the gardens with car parking. I have never rented a more beautiful place in my travels.
The photos do not do the property justice. New washer/dryer, new master bath, new refrigerator. The owner is very discreet, but available when we had questions. We could not believe how lucky we were in our selection when we arrived. A true gem!

Lovely property, gardens and apartment with views all the way to Vesuvius and Naples
Full two bedroom apartment with kitchen. Centrally located, but quiet and private. Only two minor complaints... Beds in second bedroom were not super comfortable. One night, the downstairs neighbor played loud TV late. Other than that, the villa exceeded our expectations, and we would go back next time we're in Italy.

You can't beat this place. The location is excellent and a very quick walk to all of the shops and restaurants in Sorrento. The garden and outdoor spaces are amazing with views of Vesuvius, the Gulf of Naples and surrounding areas. The owner and the rental agent were so very helpful whenever we needed anything. I can't recommend this place enough, it made our stay in Sorrento so enjoyable.

ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!!
We were 2 couples and found this villa roomy with large bedrooms and en-suite baths. The interactions with the property manager, Bruno were great, all questions promply answered, and the transactions smooth.
To the owner, the charming Donna Elisa we say: Ciao Donna Elisa! We enjoyed our stay at your picturesque villa. Your garden beautiful, the view every morning and night splendid. Couldn't find a more centrally located villa. Walking distance to shops, great restaurants, and sidewalk cafes. It was relaxing and great to be in such a beautiful area with so many enchanting hill towns (Capri, Pompeii, Amalfi Coast) which were easily accessible by boat, train or private guide. Elisa you are a wonderful host and exquisite woman. Don't hesitate to book this wonderful villa. We hope to be back...soon!!

Amazing villa
We stayed there in early Oct.It was by far the best rental property we have ever booked.Very clean and laid out perfect for the four of us.The view of the Bay of Naples was amazing.A perfect view to wake up to every morning.
Would not change a thing in this villa.Close to Tasso square and all that Sorrento has to offer.
Madame Elisa is just a very friendly and loving lady.She made us feel at home here.She took us around the property and explained the many flowers and trees on this beautiful oasis in Sorrento.
We did not want to leave here after one week.Next time will be a longer stay for sure.

We were so fortunate to discover Villa Donna Elisa. We have never enjoyed a stay as much as we enjoyed our time here. The location, the beauty, the comfort and cleanliness, and the graciousness of the owner, Donna Elisa, were beyond compare. Comfortable elegance in central Sorrento
We loved our stay at Donna Elisa, we were lucky enough to be moved here after a leak at another property before our holiday even started and we were very happy. It is a very spacious apartment exceptionally well located with utterly stunning views from the bedrooms. The garden is magical with its wisteria smells, orange and lemon trees and giant cacti. The internal photos do not really do this apartment justice as whilst it perhaps is more traditional in its decor, the ambiance is of elegance, quality and comfort. Everything is well designed, works well and was chosen with care originally and is of high quality - eg the beds, the sheets etc My only gripe would be perhaps a new set of kitchen knives are needed!

Beautiful Sorrento Apartment
We loved our stay in Sorrento in Donna Elisa's roomy apartment: it's in a wonderful position with sea views and is only a short walk to the station (bus and train) and town centre. The apartment is set in lovely gardens with terrances with sea views; the two en-suite bedrooms are perfect for two couples. Donna Elisa is so friendly and knowledgeable about the area having a life-time of experience in welcoming visitors. Her advice was invaluable to help us get the most out of our visit.

December Delight - the perfect place for a preholiday get-a-way
Villa Donna Elisa and our hostess, Elisa are both amazing. We would like to come back every year. We walked to everything, or stayed on the veranda to enjoy the views and gorgeous grounds. Our two weeks was all one could expect and more. The only drawback was the noise from the property next door.
The grounds were beautiful and Mme Lisa was very cordial and helpful. She made our stay a memorable one.
