Nice clean little property in a great location action close to facilities.

Very clean modern facilities. Loved the outdoor area which the kids chilled out in.

Water pressure for the shower low. Hot water inconsistent in shower

A most enjoyable week

Lovely cosy cottage with wood fire & all needed for an enjoyable stay Five minutes walk from galleries,shops,cafes, hotels,markets ,the wharf & Cockle Train Great central spot for exploring the Fleurieu Peninsula

For a longer stay would have been great to unpack cases…hanging space only

i was able to relax with eas and get ready for the following day

very comfortable facilities and just far enough from the center of town to be quiet and within walking distant from facilities

the main bed was a little hard for my comfort, but i was still able to get plenty of sleep

Best property I think we have ever booked through booking.com

Well I do not think the pictures on the website do this place justice. Totally amazing! Beautifully furnished and very clean and a nice bottle of welcoming local wine to boot. 10 minute walk to the restaurant zone and in an old cottage with not one but two fireplaces. Beautiful and we all loved it so much. Thanks for the experience!

Quality stay, one of our favourites

Having stayed before we navigated the check in pad, and locking / unlocking on popping in and out very easily. We loved the range of outdoor and undercover seating areas. We also chose to travel the 60 minutes to our appointments due to the convenience of having our pet stay with us so comfortably. Linens and extra comforts very welcomed. Staple pantry items really appreciated. The complimentary wine is a very personal and lovely touch. The appliances are super modern but no need to QR code and watch the video instructions having used them before. We were so thankful for the extra hour to check-in conducive to convening an extra business meeting on a very time compressed visit. Great reading lights at the bedsides assisted us to relax and wind down.

Given the quick turn around for the cleaners the opened milk in the fridge was totally understandable (and pre-COVID not worthy of a mention) and having stayed before we knew what to expect from the standard pantry items. Nothing we didnt like really at all.

It was delightful !!!!

We live in a home built in 1900. It reminded us of our home and the interior and modernised kitchen and bathroom were excellent. The cooking utensils, cutlery, crockery, cleaning supplies etc were all of a very high standard and made us feel very much at home.

The parking was only suitable for a small to medium vehicle. It was very hot when we there and no shade available for our car.

A most comfortable, well equiped home in a handy location.

This was definitely the best house I have experienced in the years I have been using Airbnb type accommodation. The location and the house itself were exceptional with a quiet yet handy location. The appliances in the house worked without exception including the dishwasher and washing machine. Definitely the most comfortable house I have ever rented and equal to my own home. One minor omission in the owner's handbook - an excellent Laotian cafe in Goolwa - The Garden of Nang - home-made, street food style menu. Is BYO.

wayfarers cottage was in walking distance to the main sights in town as well, restaurant’s, cafe and the exceptional art gallery. the cottage had all of the comforts of home plus more, a well stocked kitchen, lovely bathroom and outdoor area and beautiful garden

Excellent location. Very well presented. Comfortable beds. Everything worked.

Unfortunately the cleaning staff arrived early before 10.00am as we were trying to leave. They were very rude towards us, brought all their cleaing stuff into the cottage which made it difficult for us to leave smoothly.

Memorable..will do it again..

Outstanding accomodation.. beautifully presented and well equiped ,clean and comfortable, walking distance to wharf and cafes ..ticks all the boxes and more. Roger has thought of everything to make this Cottage one to enjoy! Every room is just wonderful. Loved sitting by the fireplace. Look forward to visiting in another season to enjoy the stunning outside area.

Comfortable, nicely appointed and all amenities provided. Hot shower. Mattress a bit hard . Problem with getting access but our host sorted that out promptly. good location close to shops and restaurants. Plenty of glasses crockery books information provided. Nice towels. Pretty good heating.

didn’t like being opposite petrol station, also water from shower goes all over bathroom floor.

Rustic yet modern Stylish yet comfortable and functional Good bed and pillows and a fabulous shower and bath… Nice toiletries and I never thought I would say it but amazing toilet paper 🧻 Awesome indoor/outdoor living area and a bathroom and kitchen that has been beautifully renovated… We would like a week here to make the most of it … excellent communication with the host who was very accomodating a wonderful stay thank you

Good location in Goolwa with everything except the beach in walking distance. clean with good facilities and a very comfy bed.

needs a new sofa or two decent arm chairs. not so comfortable for lounging around in the evening.

The cottage was beautifully presented and everything you could want or need was provided. It was like a tardis- every door led to a new space! Roger provided all information required in a friendly, timely and professional manner. Highly recommend!

The house and the location was excellent. Clean and comfortable home and close to shops/food outlets, etc.

The only issue was that there was no place for our dog to relieve itself. Everything outside was nicely brick paved and tiled but no lawn to use. We ended up walking across the road to an empty allotment. She found it difficult to settle.

Arriving at this charming Cottage was an excellent start to a lovely weekend.

The cottage was very clean with ample supplies right down to shampoo and conditioner. The deep bath was lovely. We really enjoyed the side courtyard which is very private with a pretty garden and pergola with lights.

The keypad must have changed. The code was correct but there was no red button and no instruction on how to get the screen up in the first place. The dishwasher stopped working.
