Perfect spot for a weekend getaway. Perfect for a couple. Walking distance to the main street and local attractions. John and Christine were absolutely charming. Wonderful hosts.

Unique and good place to stay. The main bedroom with ensuite is upstairs as is the living area. Down stairs is another bedroom with ensuite plus a garage with roller door. The place is comfortable, tidy and clean. It has everything you would need and more. DVD;s, books and pack of cards. Plenty of things in the kitchen that you may need, plus they even had bread and milk. It is also close to the main street but not too close. I would stay again and would thoroughly recommend to others.

We highly recommend this property and would love to return. There is so much to see in Goolwa and surrounds and the Riverhouse is perfectly located. We enjoyed the hospitality of the generous hosts John and Christine. They have lots of stories to tell and were very interested in what we did during our stay - they are keen to gather information to share with future guests. Outstanding!

Delightful, cosy place tucked away and within easy walking distance to Main Street. Hosts live on the property but once they settled us in we were left alone. The apartment is very well equipped and ideal for two couples. We would definitely stay there again and recommend to friends.

The location was really good, within a few minutes walk to the river and the main street. Having the main bedroom and living area on the first floor meant there were good views out towards the river and of the surrounding tree tops.
John and Christine were friendly and helpful hosts. The place was clean, tidy and comfortable.
You could actually sell the place better by saying in the information that the accomodation is the whole upstairs and downstairs. The ad gave me the impression that it was just the upstairs section.

Lovely place & wonderful owners
The house was tidy, had a beachy feel, and was perfect as a holiday spot. Very near the river, main street and bridge to Hindmarsh Island. The owners were very kind and hospitable. They let us use their kayaking equipment, and took us to the right spot to get in. We requested the booking a couple days before the check-in date, and they responded straight away. It was a lovely stay, made all the better by the wonderful owners! Will definitely be coming back.

Clean and comfortable and relaxing
We only stayed a couple of nights, but wishing we could have stayed longer. The apartment was clean and tidy, lovely balcony to relax on and a 2 minute walk to the main street. Definitely planning to come back. Thanks so much for welcoming us to your rental.

Convenient location. Very cosy
This property was perfect for us. Had all that you need in a quiet location. Not fancy or modern, but not lacking in any comforts. We loved that we were a short walk to the main street for shopping and eating. Also a short walk to the wharf for boarding the Coorong Cruise and happy hour drinks afterwards. Will definitely return. So much to do. So little time....
