Probably one of the modernist Motels in Australia

Great Modern Design - with two different pillows to pick (hard or soft) Recommended!

Excellent, highly recommended

Excellent location and good car parking. Room was newly refurbished and very modern and comfortable. Overall, excellent quality and very good value. Good WiFi also.

It’s not what I thought, grotty on outside and it’s just rooms over a restaurant.

Would never return!

Nothing except that the room was cleaned for our second day.

No outside appeal. Looked and was run down, dilapidated and completely unwelcoming. Entry was hard to find, near outside toilets for the restaurant & then down corridor with dirty carpets. Smaller room than indicated on internet. Tiny bathroom. No reception personnel. Totally disappointed.

VERY RUN DOWN. NO COMMUNICATION TO GAIN ENTRY. VERY SMALL ROOM. SMALL BED. TOOK FIVE MINUTES TO GET HOT WATER.

Good that the rooms were decent. Outside area not impressed.

The room was nice and clean but a little small. The bathroom and bedroom were well appointed and good quality.

Not too keen on ability to enter the building. Self check in by wi fi and pass codes. Difficult when travelling from overseas connecting on phone. The car parking was near at back of building. The entrance at the back was shabby and dilapidated. Toilets outside at the back where used by restaurant under the rooms.

Clean modern rooms to use as a base to explore the Great Ocean Road

Rooms have been renovated and were spotlessly clean. Location is great on the Main Street and close to all amenities and across the road to the beach.

Booked 2 rooms - 1 and 10 were allocated. One was supposed to be superior in size but both were the same size. Also in room 1 the sink is cracked badly. Staircases need a good scrub and renovating. A coat of white paint would make them look and feel more of a beach vibe. Dead plant on entrance at the back is off putting. Carpets on stairs and landing need a steam clean. Path down the side was littered with cigarette butts.

Great location, close to the beach and restaurants. The room was clean with all essentials provided.

Perfect Accommodation

Absolutely loved this stay, all self checkin which is great, directions to the accommodation was brilliant. They have recently renovated so everything was brand new. The bed was so incredibly comfortable, we probably had the best sleep while staying here and the pillows are next level we purchased the exact same ones when we got home. The accommodation is also in the perfect location too all the shops and beach!! I will definitely be coming back this this place

NOT A 4 Star

The renovation style of room was good, but management/owners of property need to maintain properly and market honestly with star rating and room rate.

This is NOT a 4 star property. It could be a 3 if regular maintenance and ongoing upkeep was carried out, but room rates are too high for this property. As other people have mentioned the exterior of building is in a very unkempt state. There is no reception but a back door digital self entry, which also could be much better presented as the only entry. The door is flimsy and doesn't look or feel secure.There is a stairway up to main corridor to the rooms. The walls and carpet are in need of a refresh and is shabby. The room has had a renovation at some point and looks OK, however the bathroom shower area has extensive black mould and a drain smell. The rate for this room was too expensive, so disappointed as expected more inline with photos and perception from booking.com. The sheets are laundered, but have stains - these should be replaced.

Perfect for our one night stay: in late, out early. Great breakfast place just around the corner.

Clean and exactly as in pictures. Excellent solution for staying one night while driving along the Great Ocean Rd.

10/10 stay

10/10 stay. The motel was the cleanest accomodation I’ve ever stayed in- absolutely spotless! The room was very spacious. Everything we needed was there. The property was very neat and tidy. The staff were very responsive! Wish we had booked for longer. Will be rebooking in the future.

Good spot for a short stay

Location was great room was small but worked for our needs

I never received a text with the info on how to check in and was disappointed to have to be the one to call them to get my info then the key wasnt in the lockbox was actually in the return key box.

Superb

The interior of the room was great and the convenience of the location, parking and self check-in and check-out was especially appreciated.

The only issue I found was that the walls of the washroom were too thin and not even a little sound-proof so it was uncomfortable listening to the other person use it
