wonderful enough to spend multi days

super cozy inside and gorgeous setting outside. Fabulous breakfast served on outside deck. wish we’d stayed 2 nights! The area was uncrowded and we had a completely private hike to the Falls. Note if in a hurry… the middle falls is the best and so beautiful an artist couldn’t even imagine the detail.

the town closes at around 6 pm. after that you better have brought your own dinner.

Breakfast was really good.

Dinner was not great. Power went out, so dinner was delayed. Although power wasn't their fault, some kind of offer (wine?) for inconvenience would have been nice. Also, a final bill and receipt when we left would be nice. Couldn't use jetted tub (no power) and with delayed dinner too late for us. Bed was very uncomfortable and pillows were hard. For the $$$ we were expecting a lot more.

Highly recommend!!!

Excellent food and room, great history, owner's guided tour. Bedding was extremely comfortable and owner made sure everything was taken care of. Great stay!

Great breakfast, nice folks running a cool b&b

Nice people run this place, which is a very cool historic building. Breakfast was ridiculous, we didn’t have lunch that day.

Best breakfast ever! The location is 10 miles from I5, but it's well worth the distance. However, the best restaurant in McCloud is not open every day

Excellent and charming experience.

Charming old Inn with modern amenities. The breakfast served was first rate and multi-coarsed prepared individually for each guest.

An excellent stop to relax overnight

A charming facility and we were greeted with fresh cookies. Breakfast was huge. Friendly owners. Our room and bathroom were huge and very well decorated. A beautiful front porch was used for breakfast. McCloud has an excellent 9-hole golf course

Beautiful historic home, with warm and welcoming owners and superb food!

Dan and Julie are wonderful, welcoming hosts. They were so friendly and helpful, and made us feel right at home. they treated us like friends rather than strangers. The unexpected treat was the quality of the breakfast and and Julie's baking. The breakfast was absolutely gourmet...healthy and satisfying. Julie was accommodating in honoring our vegetarian preferences. Dan is an impressive historian and storyteller, with a deep knowledge and appreciation for the history of the building, and Mc Cloud in general. We recommend the Mc Cloud B & B highly, you won't regret staying there.

We didn't have enough time to do everything we wanted to do in the area. 2 nights was not enough.

Pleasant

Lovely delicious breakfast was packed for us so that we could go skiing. Staff was very nice they- went above and beyond.

Didn't love the sheets on bed and heater made whiney noise all night- kept me up.

Our brief stay at the Bed and Breakfast was such a treat! We loved it... and will visit again soon!

Julie's cooking is exceptional... she thoughtfully inquires as to any food allergies and then accommodates. The breakfast was cooked to perfection and over the top! The Valentine goodies that we were met with upon arrival were so cute and thoughtful as well as delicious! The cleanliness of our room and the Inn as a whole was the icing on the cake. Julie and Dan are so enjoyable to visit with... even though they were busy, they never made us feel like they were too busy to chat. Love the upgrades they are doing... Dan does nice craftsmanship. Very well done... Just wonderful!

beautiful property the room felt cozy and inviting.

there was no television in the room and there were no USB ports. There wasn’t enough hot water to fill up the jacuzzi and we were in luke warm water for what seemed like forever until the water reheated. We tried to find something decent to eat but nothing seemed to be open after 7. it was confusing what was open …. no signage and no info about the restaurant on site. we went yo bed without dinner and the breakfast was cold and mediocre

It was a great time.

It was very good. It was an easy drive for us from Redding.

We couldn’t get the temperature right on the furnace. It was either too hot or too cold, but it was a minor issue. The bedding was warm and comfortable so we didn’t mind.
