Lovely apartment

Lovely apartment, spotlessly clean, well stocked with dishes,cutlery,glasses and cooking utensils. Good attention to detail and added bonus of fresh flowers and welcome pack.

Good value for money and we were happy all round with the stay.

The property was within distance of shops and the coast. I enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the tide come up the river, on the good weather days! Ground floor access was good and we had no problem with street parking - right outside the front door.

There was some noise from neighbours, mainly as they accessed the building

Great finish to holiday.

Position on river giving relaxed outlook. Well equiped kitchen. Comfortable lounges, & beds. Good sized shower. Communication with host was exceptional.

There was a washer but no drier.

Feel like a home away from home

We had a great stay here. It had everything you would need. Kitchen is very well equipped. Parking was easy and it is a short walk into town. Wifi worked well. Which is important when travelling will a teen. We have stayed in a number of similar accommodations nearby in the last 12 months. The mariners was definitely the most comfortable stay we have had. The host was great too. We will be returning.

Superb

Parking was easy directly outside the ground floor apartment only 2-3 steps to the door. Apartment spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We loved the small balcony although we didn't use it as weather was chilly. Nice to have a bottle of prosecco and goodies to enjoy. Found the bed and sette very comfortable. The WiFi was brilliant would totally suit someone coming to do some work or even study as a bolt hole. The kitchen had everything we needed plus we could order takeaway food directly to the door, we got a lovely Chinese meal Would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Ayr

Only negative apart from the water pressure which has already been mentioned is the blinds in the bedroom dont go all the way to the windowsill making the bedrooms light. Wouldn't stop me from staying although could do with a set of curtains.

Top value luxury

The apartment was absolutely brilliant. Everything we could have needed was taken care of and it was super clean. Having the balcony on the River was amazing We never met Wilson the host but he was super helpful throughout with messages and was always contactable..

Excellent accomodation by river

Superb location, spotlessly clean. Great size of livingroom for 4 adults, little balcony over looking river would have been fabulous in the sun. Extra touches such as welcome pack. Very well appointed kitchen, bathroom. Would highly recommend & will book again when in Ayr. Very easy to park outside.

Minor detail, pressure of water in bathroom was low.

we love it’s location. so near town, shops and beach. its very well equipped. love that there is loo roll, T towels. washing up liquid. shower gel. very thoughtful. it’s roomy. bright. good size wardrobes. has lovely private outside space to sit at or eat dinner, with a gorgeous harbour and sea view. sunsets are spectacular a quiet location and a short walk from supermarket. plenty good takeaways too

nothing much to say. could do with a touch up of paint but it’s such a good place to stay. feels homely. we love this apartment. it’s nicely furnished and has everything we need

Great location at a fabulous price.

Really spacious and well located property. Rented the property for my elderly parents and they weren’t disappointed. Great facilities, comfy beds and large walk in shower made it a very comfortable stay for them. Located in a quiet area of town with amenities close by and a short walk into town and the sea front. Wilson messaged a few days in to see how the stay was going and whether there was anything that needed his attention. For the price I would recommend or book again, very happy with the property.

Beautiful location in a perfectly maintained apartment!

Everything about The Mariners was wonderful! the beds are comfortable, the location is perfect, 10 minute walk to the centre of Ayr and easy access to the freeway. Wonderfully maintained property with everything you need! Could not recommend The Mariners highly enough!

Fantastic property, clean, central location and very quiet

everything it was quiet, clean. well stocked kitchen. lovely views o et the river. lovely welcome pack. The owner kept in contact during our stay to make sure everything was OK. The apartment is in a very central location for shops, restaurants, beach parks etc. one of the best apartments we’ve stayed in.

Will definitely return and recommend to friends visiting Ayr.

Great location, very clean and comfortable accommodation with all the equipment you would need for a great stay. Very quiet with a lovely view over the river. 5 to 10 minute walk from the town centre. Was visiting relatives from Ayr as I come from there so didn't have time to visit the beach this trip, have been many times before though. Will stay a bit longer next time.
