About this house rental

Sparkling clean and newly updated end unit townhouse in a the peaceful, wooded community of Stewart’s Watch. This is a wonderful family friendly, sunny end unit with a swimming pool, tennis court, and boat ramp for kayaking, canoeing or fishing/crabbing. The home has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms (master suite has full bath with an easy walk in shower, 2 bed rooms with hall bath/tub and half bath downstairs). There is also an outside shower. The kitchen and bathrooms have all been recently renovated. Wood floors span the downstairs.

Perfect location: the home is 1/2 mile to the downtown area (0.7 miles to the sand). It is a pedestrian friendly walk or bike ride. The unit also includes a free parking pass for the beach and downtown. The trolley stop is a short block from the front door for a fun and scenic ride that only costs a quarter.

Private Community: This is one of the few Bethany Beach communities that offers a swimming pool! It's a perfect way to wind down after a day at the beach. Steward's Watch is beautifully landscaped and maintained. The streets are tucked into a quiet wooded neighborhood that provides added safety for kids to bike and play. There is a private boardwalk leading to the community dock on the Bethany Canal where you can enjoy crabbing, fishing, kayaking, canoeing and paddle boarding. If you are looking for additional exercise, there are also tennis courts to enjoy. Bike and boat rentals can be found nearby.

Bethany offers a family friendly experience including free weekend concerts at the bandstand, children's shows at the town hall, an inviting library, bike paths, shops and restaurants to enjoy. The boardwalk is the perfect place for a morning stroll, ice cream while enjoying a concert or dinner overlooking the ocean. The town sponsors weekly outdoor movies on the beach and bonfires with marshmallows for families to enjoy.

Property: Our home has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. The generous sized master bedroom has a queen bed, skylight, and a full bath with walk-in shower (with pull bar for safety). The second bedroom also has a queen size bed and full closet. The third bedroom has sturdy wood twin bunk beds. There is an upstairs full bath with tub and shower. The kitchen and baths are all recently renovated. There is an open concept floor plan with oversized windows and a sunny breakfast nook. Screened outdoor deck with gas grill for outdoor dining or relaxing in the evening.

The kitchen is fully supplied with all the essentials for cooking: pots and pans, utensils, serving dishes/platters, grilling utensils, coffee maker, toaster oven, refrigerator, electric range, oven, microwave, dishwasher. There is large kitchen table for gatherings, an outdoor table and a sunny breakfast nook. A washer and dryer are on the bedroom level.

There are TV's upstairs and downstairs and free wifi available. The living room includes comfy and cozy seating on Restoration Hardware sofas and oversized chairs with down cushions.

We loved our stay at this lovely home spending time with family. We enjoyed the property and was within walking distance of town. We definitely took advantage of the parking pass too on beach days. Great area restaurants. Also easy drive for day trips to OC and Assateague. We look forward to staying again!

My three teens and I recently stayed here and had such a good week. Kristen was helpful and communicated promptly and was a great resource. Property is a half mile to the boardwalk so the kids could go out at night.

This was a great weekend getaway for our group. The residential parking pass was a clutch addition. Heads up, Bethany Beach is pretty strict about the shade options on the beach, so keep that in mind! Host was very responsive!

Excellent location

This location was perfect, as it was well within walking distance to the beach. We had an infant with us, so it was important to have somewhere close to the beach. The house was very clean and Kristen was very attentive from start to finish. Highly recommend!

We love, love, loved the beach townhouse. It was just a few minute walk to the beach, boardwalk and restaurants! My kids enjoyed the pool and tennis courts daily. I liked walking arounded the shady wooded lot and down to the docks. The townhouse was clean as a whistle! Everything looked brand new and newly renovated. The house had everything we needed for a weeks stay. The owner, Kristen was so sweet to check in on us more than once to see of we needed anything! Would highly recommend and definitely will be back!

We had a wonderful time in Bethany. Kristen was very easy to communicate with. She even checked on us during our stay to make sure we were fine. The house itself was very convenient to us. We walked everywhere and could get to the beach pretty easily. The kitchen is well stocked and the beds are comfortable. We would stay there again. The only thing we would ask for would be a second key or keyless entry code so that our group can split up and come and go at different times. Thank you Krissy for letting us use your house:)

We had a great vacation in this property. If fit our family perfectly. The townhouse was lovely and had many updates throughout. It was a great location...pool was steps away and so was the dock. The beach was only a 10-15 minute walk. Also, the owner was great and was very easy to communicate with before and during the stay. I highly recommend this property!!

Rented this house for our family of 4 and my in-laws. We had plenty of space and it was really easy to get to the boardwalk by car or bike. The nearby pool was a huge plus! The only reason I didn’t give a 5 star review was that the mattress in the second bedroom was too hard on my back so I ended up sleeping on the couch.

This was a beautiful condo in a quiet neighborhood, yet conveniently close to Bethany Beach. The property is clean with many tasteful updates, and is nicely decorated. The community pool was right around the corner, and the dock to the canal was a nice feature. We watched two storks fishing for their breakfast by the canal. The residential parking pass was very convenient, and made it very easy to find a spot very close to the beach. Kristen was a great host throughout our stay. We're so glad we took her up on her suggestion to take the guided kayak tour on Assateague. We will definitely be considering future beach getaways at this property.

Everything mentioned about this property is spot on - all the amenities, the cleanliness, the great location, and the quiet, peaceful Steward's Watch makes for a nice, relaxing vacation. We enjoyed exploring the area, walking to the beach, hanging out by the pool, and relaxing on the back porch so this place had everything we needed. We enjoyed this property! It's nicely furnished, clean, comfortable and convenient. We liked that the area was quiet and removed from the crowds but a convenient 5-10 minute walk to the beach. Even off-season Bethany Beach is lovely. When we bring the whole beach set up of chairs, coolers, umbrellas, toys, etc this summer, we'll need to drive and park at the beach, but with a lighter load, the walk is very nice and easy. We liked the little shops and restaurant area and Bethany's boardwalk. My kids also loved the bike lanes so they could ride bikes to the beach. The pool on property is a nice feature too--we'll be back to enjoy it when summer temps are here. My kids also liked the salt marsh walkway to the bay/canal on the property. They had fun catching minnows and crabs. It's an easy set up for putting in a kayak. Overall, this was a great rental!
