Feel the sand between your toes as you take a leisurely stroll via a secluded, scenic bush track to the unspoiled coastline of Rainbow Beach.

Be enticed by the sparkling in-ground salt water pool set in amongst the trees. For the entertainer at heart, this beautiful home features two large decks/entertaining areas, one at the rear of the property overlooking bushland and one at the front of the property overlooking the clear sparkling pool.

With all holiday accommodation, you will need to bring your own personal linen (sheets, pillow cases, hand towels, towels and bath mats) or these can be hired from our office, just ask us for a quote. Remember to also pack your own essential items such as toiletries, dish washing powder, etc for your stay. Port-a-cots can also be hired from our office.

Very basic and in need of TLC

We were disappointed. The pool was the best feature. There was no tea,coffee, sugar, salt n pepper and 1 roll of toilet paper for two bathrooms and 3 adults with no spares supplied. Never had this with this site or other accommodation booking apps before. That’s just slack. You also had to hire linen or bring your own. It wasn’t Covid cleaned. There were dirty used bars of soap left in the showers inside and outside. There were kids shorts in the sideboard…and slugs and bugs all over the ceiling in the 2nd toilet which we had to remove. Serviettes lining the cutlery draws 🤷‍♀️. The list of what you had to do upon departure begs the question…what does the cleaner do? The rental next door had a proper cleaner and supplied sheets and towels as we watched her make the beds and roll the towels up and sanitize bedside tables and were jealous. Property needs some work done to it. Flooring is just varnished chipboard which isn’t attractive. There is no privacy blinds in 2nd toilet and 2nd bedroom so you can’t open the old blinds for daylight as people in house next door can see straight in. Not ideal at all. It made the rooms very dark. Appliances needed servicing. Air con was spewing water everywhere, all of the floor, sideboard and stereo…dishwasher wouldn’t turn off. We turned it on before going out for the day and it was still going when we came back 5 hours later. The room quantity of 4 bedrooms was reduced down to 3 bedrooms and no offer of less $ was given. Our sleep was lacking due to the extremely hard mattresses on the beds. We all woke up in back agony. Sleeping on the floor was an attractive option. It really needs some TLC, from couch and chair cushions to plastering badly chipped walls in the lounge. The location is great near beautiful beaches and Inskip Point. The pool is fabulous as are the updated bathrooms. It’s a great floor plan but everything inside is very tired.

Good times

Great location, beautiful beach is a short stroll down a path from the backyard which is perfect, house easily accommodates 8 adults. Property managers were friendly and great to deal with. Minor issues with the cleanliness - little bit of extra TLC and maintenance required however very functional space and well priced. Would stay again.

Lovely modern getaway

Great rooms and plenty of space. Kitchen is stocked with cookware, just need to bring your own cleaning/washing products and linen. Parking for 2 cars and a boat. 5min drive to jetty for fishing. Loved the short sandy bush walk to the beach from the back door. Short bike ride to centre of town to IGA. Overall I would come back again.

Great value for money

This is our second stay at Shelly’s and for the price it is very good value. We love the short stroll to the beach through the bush and the fact that you can hear the ocean from the bedrooms. The kitchen has everything you need, the pool is lovely and the bedrooms and bathrooms are good. The only bad thing I have to say is that for me the mattresses were too hard. This place is simple, functional and spacious. I recommend to come during offpick season as it is half the price of school holidays..
