If your idea of a beach vacation does NOT include crowded beaches, high rise buildings, traffic, and cruising through a multilevel parking garage trying to find a place to park, this is your vacation home. Cape Coddages II has only 14 units and if you don't like waiting for elevators, this condo is just a quick two flights up (there is NO elevator). Why search for a parking place when you can stay where two parking spaces are marked for you? This is a delightful oceanfront four bedroom with a great pool, and the perfect beach and ocean view.
Here's the oceanfront home for your family reunion. The whole family can enjoy the unlimited view of the beach. Every vacation day begins and ends with the soothing sound of the Atlantic surf and the serene view of blue sky and golden sand. The soft sand of Surfside Beach is just a few steps from the door.
The swimming pool is exclusively for guests at the small Cape Coddages II complex, it won't be crowded. You can relax on the lounge chairs while the kids swim. After enjoying the beach, there is an outdoor shower area to wash off the ocean and sand. Here, every day offers a choice of shopping, golf, and attractions from the convenient Surfside Beach location, or just relaxing on the balcony or the beach enjoying the sunshine.
There are five flat screen TVs, sets are in all bedrooms. The master bedroom upstairs has a king size bed with a brand new mattress (May 2020), the second upstairs bedroom has a queen bed with a brand new mattress (2021) , and there is a single bed in a loft that children love to stay in. Downstairs, there is a queen bed and a twin bunk bed in the third bedroom with a brand new mattress (2021) and a queen size bed in the fourth bedroom with a brand new mattress (2021). Brand new sofa and recliners in living room. Ceiling fans keep cool air moving in every room. The fully equipped kitchen includes a full size stainless refrigerator, smooth top stove with oven, microwave, toaster, small appliances, pots and pans. Brand new washing machine (May 2020), with dryer, so no need to pack a full week's worth of clothes! Dishes, glassware and tableware are on hand. Linens are provided, beds will be made, some soap, paper towels and trash bags will be on hand. You will not begin your vacation by making beds or running to the store to get toilet paper!
Surfside Beach is perfect for a family vacation, away from the traffic and crowds, but still a short drive to the wide variety of attractions, shopping, dining and entertainment the Grand Strand has to offer. The Surfside Beach pier, restaurants and shops are a few blocks south from Cape Coddages II. Luxury shopping and dining are a few minutes north in the Market Commons area. Just a short drive north are all the attractions and shopping of Myrtle Beach, Broadway at the Beach, Coastal Grand shopping center, the Myrtle Beach boardwalk, and one of the world's largest Ferris wheels. Great little place right on the beach. Balcony views were great during our stay. It was a cozy and clean place, and the beds were amazing. My only real suggestion would be better balcony furniture as it wasn't the most comfy or sturdy, but worked fine during our stay. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a great week staying in this condo in Surfside Beach. We had 6 adults and there was plenty of room. Our only complaints are running out of hot water in the mornings and the lady that smoked on her balcony in the building beside us. The beds all have very firm mattresses but we got used to them. The upstairs king room also has a wonderful view of the ocean.

Overall a great experience and what we were looking for with our seven family members who were with us. The only disappointment was the inability to access the pool as the kids were disappointed not to be able to use on a windy day for lounging/suntanning. Understand if April 1st is the go live date, but going the extra mile to provide options would have been nice. No worries as it was a great week at a beautiful rental that had a great beach house decor and atmosphere.

Cape Coddages II is our new favorite place for vacationing at the beach, our condo was one of the cleanest condos we have rented in the past 11 years. Every amenity that you can think of was there, Plenty of room for the 5 of us. We liked it so much that we have already booked it for next year. Thanks again for a wonderful trip.

We enjoyed our stay! Clean and spacious. A few things that we think are important to fix: the porch chairs are very unstable and dangerous the porch is in a slight angle so they felt very unsafe to sit on due to being high chairs. The pool chairs are also broken and could use a few new ones the current ones are cracked or broken and not enough for the amount of other condos.

Very Spacious! A MUST book!!!
This is a fantastic condo! We had two families with 9 in total. Very Clean, and the kitchen had everything you could need! No need to bring anything but a beach towel!!! The view is excellent, and we never heard a neighbor. One dislike is that in the main upstairs bedroom, the light for the pool lights up the front windows at night. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Fabulous, Fabulous, Fabulous
Many have said . . ." Location, Location, Location" are the three most important features of any property ... this and much more is certainly true of the Cape Coddages II condos. Our Unit was superb and the pictures don't really do the decor justice. It is bright, cheery, well-appointed, and spacious. The furniture is fabulous, being both versatile and sturdy to handle a large family of various degrees of gentility. One member of my family was overly enthusiastic and impressed about all the hooks that were available for hanging stuff! And the storage in every room was more than sufficient. We had a fabulous week. Beach, golf, Murrells Inlet, and the best of Myrtle Beach were all close at hand. I've truly fallen in love with the Myrtle Beach area after having stayed here at the Cape Coddages II and hope that it won't be long before I return.

Great Place for Family Vacation
Lots of room for family to spread out. Kitchen is a little tight, but updated and has most things you would want/need. The deck is long and narrow, shaded in the morning. My only real complaint of the place was that the deck chairs were the least comfortable chairs ever and that there were actual keys instead of a keypad (makes check in/out more annoying). The view was nice over the beach and pool. We really liked the closet downstairs to put all of our beach chairs and whatnot so you didn't have to haul them very far each morning. We also really like that one of the parking spaces was fully covered so our car was nice and cool. The beach and pool (open from 10a-10:30p) were very nice and the neighborhood reasonable quiet and not too crowded. Overall, it was a great stay!

Once we booked our vacation, we received periodic communications keeping us apprised of pertinent information relevant to our vacation. iTrip Property Management was great to work with. There was a scheduling issue with the owner of the original property we booked and iTrip acted fast to resolve the issue and find us a new property to stay at.
It would be easier for renters if access to the property was keyless and you didn't have to drive to the office to get your keys and check-in/check-out information, but luckily this condo was just a few minutes away from the office so it did not feel out of the way.
The condo was exactly as pictured. The overall location in surfside was great and the ease of getting on and off the beach was exactly what we needed with kids in tow.
We had one issue with the dishwasher not working properly. Maintenance was quick to respond to resolve the issue. All the other appliances worked perfectly fine.
We would stay here again and we would rent with iTrip again.

We had a wonderful time. The condo was exactly what we expected. It was clean and the kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed. The location could not have been better, a quiet family beach. The only reason I ranked it a four was the pool was closed and no one informed us that we would not have access to the pool. It was disappointing for our young ones. I would definitely stay again and hope the pool would be available.

Good vacation but lots of stairs
Property worked for our 3 families and kids! Very tropical! Needs some TLC on the deck due to spongey wood and Master bedroom ceiling and walls as new paint is cracking. Thought it was clean when we entered but after 30 minutes of bare feet on the floors they were black so had to clean floors as we had a toddler with us. Location was great with restaurants and shopping near by. Was told when we rented it had 2 flights of stairs but to room 202 it had 4 of 8 steps each and another set up and down on each side of the beach entrance. We enjoyed our time at this location.
