Newly furnished 3 BR 2BA Lakefront Condo with amazing, unobstructed views of CEDAR Point and Lake Erie. Located in historic downtown Sandusky and a short walking distance to shopping, restaurants, bars, ferries and the marina. Fitness room, pool and grill access for guests. Steps from ferrys that travel to Put-in-Bay, Kelleys Island and Cedar Point. Local parks are within walking distance, pool, grill and hot tub on property. Private gated parking lot.
Equipped with a full kitchen, comfortable beds, 2 story loft ceilings, wifi, TVs, and office space. Perfect for couples, business travelers, families (with kids) and big groups.
This two level loft/condo has a main level with two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, dining and living areas. One bedroom has a California King bed and the other has a queen bed. The upper level loft has a king bed, a separate seating area with office space that overlooks the lake, a futon that can be used for sleeping space and a TV. This space which overlooks the lake is perfect for business travel or for use as an additional lounge/sleeping areas. The upper level back bedroom also two sets of twin over full bunk beds. All three bedrooms have a privacy doors and the loft is an open space. There are four smart TVs in the unit. We supply bed linen, bath towels, beach towels, soap and shampoo for 12 guests and well as a fully equipped kitchen with small appliances for our guests.

This property is perfect for guests traveling with boats as adjacent to Sandusky the marina which has trailer parking and/or boat slips available for rent. This property was a short walk from the Jet Express dock. This allowed our family easy access for an excursion to Put In Bay. There were also several restaurants and shops within walking distance that we were able to enjoy. We had a terrific view of Lake Erie and Cedar Point from the condo. We were able to drive to Cedar Point in under 15 minutes. This was a great place to stay for a quick summer get away. The condo was nicely furnished and very comfortable.

Wonderful place to stay in Sandusky! Conveniently located next to Jackson Pier and lots of bars and restaurants. The accommodations were very nice. Beds were comfortable. Definitely has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We loved the view and the large doors that open directly over the water. The only negative I could say would be that the space could have been cleaner. But overall I would stay there again and would definitely recommend!

My parents stayed here for my wedding weekend and they loved it. It was huge inside and very clean. Oh we did tell property manager that there was only 1 parking pass left and we had 2 cars but she said we are good to go!

The area was wonderful! The view from the condo stunning. Slightly disappointed with the property. The condo wasn’t as clean and well stocked as anticipated. Not enough towels for 4, let alone 12. Some of that upstairs lamps were broken. Carpets had some staining. Overall we had a nice time and the location is excellent…

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Carla's place. We were pleasantly surprised by the view walking into the apartment. It literally feels like you are floating right above the water. The timing of our stay (winter) was probably to blame because the town seemed very quiet. Carla's place was very clean and well-equipped. She was very quick to respond and kindly accommodated our requests. The number of beds were more than enough for our group of 8 people. Although there were plenty of utensils, we did not find any essential cooking products (sugar, coffee, etc.). In our previous experiences, those things were always present. Its not a big deal though. Grocery stores were a quick drive away. Our only small concern was that the dishwasher was not functioning properly. Not sure if we were using the wrong setting, but the plates didn't always come out clean (and there was no sponge to clean them manually). But other than that, this was the perfect place for our Sandusky getaway. I highly recommend it.

I cannot thank our hosts enough, because my family had such a wonderful time staying in this condo. We had plenty of room to spread out and our kids (3 & 5) loved the bunk beds. They did well on the spiral staircase, too.

The deck railing needs to be wiped down. Cobwebs were around the railing heavy. Other the. That the property was clean. When I inquired about boat parking I was not told that I had to park it in the lot next door outside the gates. Please also add information about the boat slip overnight rentals. They charge $2 a foot. This was a nice service. We had a good time. Thanks.

Weekend stay
My family was visiting Sandusky for a family reunion. In this condo we had 6 adults and 2 kids. There was plenty of space for all of us.
Pros:
- Great location!! We love staying at Chesapeake Lofts. This unit did not disappoint with the view of the bay. Walking in took our breath away. Close to everything downtown. Short walking distance to many things.
- Kitchen was stocked well enough for what we needed. They also had hand soap, dish soap and garbage bags stocked. There was a starter supply of paper towels and toilet paper.
Cons:
- Beds were not the most comfortable. Some were super soft, others super noisy. We were only there for a few days so it wasn't the biggest deal.
- The rental was clean and plenty of towels were provided but there was an enormous amount of bugs and spider webs around the glass windows/ patio doors. There was a phantom screen that was not working so we weren't able to enjoy that beautiful waterfront view and breeze.
- Many light bulbs were burnt out upon our arrival. This left for very dark showers in both bathrooms. I reached out to the property manager and she responded immediately. She was able to come the next day and replace a lot of them. Unfortunately, the kitchen bulbs and the high ceiling bulbs couldn't be replaced without some assistance so the common area and kitchen surfaces were pretty dim.

Ww love our family.
Overall we had a great experience. The loft needed to be updated, new paint, showers and laundry. With the coin shortage, it was an inconvenience to find coins for machines. By the doors going out to balcony, there were a lot of cob webs and dead bugs. There should be two tokens to make access to the different facilities easier.

Think twice before renting this condo
This property has an amazing view of Lake Erie and it's in a perfect location.
Unfortunately, the bedroom configuration is not very accommodating for groups of 8. The upstairs has two sleeping areas but you have to walk through one bedroom to get to the other. There are also no closets or a bathroom for upstairs guests.
We had an issue with the lock on the bathroom door and one of the toilets on the first night. I called the property manager to inform her of the situation and ask her if she could have someone fix it and her answer was "we know that these are issues and there's nothing that we can do about it." I went on to explain to her that the toilet took 10 minutes to refill after each flush and she told me that "it was the brand of toilet in the unit and we just couldn't expect to use it back to back." Since the other toilet was in the master bedroom, there were 6 people sharing this bathroom - this proved to be a problem over our 4 night stay.
Needless to say, I was disappointed in the responce to my concerns and I would think twice about booking this unit.

Perfect getaway
My daughter had a volleyball tournament at Cedar Point Sports Center. There were 6 of us and I really didn't want to stay in a hotel, so we decided to rent this condo. So glad we did, so much space and the teen kids absolutely loved the Loft. It was very clean and convenient for us. We were able to walk to restaurants nearby and we were only 10 minutes from complex. I would definitely rent this unit again, Carla is great to work with. Thanks so much!

The location was right by the bay with a gorgeous view outside our window. The sunrise and sunset were visible from the balcony. The layout of the bedrooms was perfect. Front window was a little dirty. But overall very satisfied with our stay!

This property was perfect for our family. Upon arrival, the security guard made us feel very welcome. We had a little bit of an issue trying to get into the unit (our fault), but Carla responded to us very quickly and provided clear directions. My family loved how spacious the unit was and everyone felt comfortable in their individual bedroom spaces. My teenage daughter loved the spiral staircase and the loft area! We did not need to utilize the bedroom with the bunk beds, but I think it would be great to add a TV in that particular bedroom. I loved the 2-door entryway and stairs into that bedroom though. Very Cute!!We were able to cook family meals during our stay, because all utensils and cookware was available to us. I loved having a Keurig coffee maker there!! Everything was neatly organized in the drawers, cabinets and closets. The unit was very clean and very well-maintained. The TV stand was a little dusty (very lightly), but not enough to complain. I just recommend possibly having some furniture cleaner and window/mirror cleaner available for guests. I like to clean up behind myself, so if something gets dirty, I like to clean it immediately. I appreciated having a vacuum, broom, mop, trash bags, paper towel, dish detergent, air freshener and other hygiene products were available and accessible. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of bath towels for our family. We could not figure out how to navigate the local channels on the television, but was still able to watch movies. There was some light construction in the area, but not enough to cause any disruption of our vacation. We loved watching the boats on Lake Erie. Due to COVID-19, the Jet Express to Put-In-Bay at the Sandusky location was closed during our visit, but the drive to the Port Clinton site was not too far away. It was great to be able to see Cedar Point as well!We had an opportunity to enjoy the pool, which was very clean. Other guests and residents at this location were very friendly and the check-out was very easy. Great location! Great view! Very peaceful! I highly recommend this place and plan to return!!

Overall a great stay with lots off room. Floor had quiet of bit of water damage by the patio doors and pretty dirty behind the TV area. It worked for our visit, but a bit complex due to road construction directly in front of the complex.
