Quiet Relaxing retreat

The expansive living area hosts a huge 55" Sony LCD TV, and for those cosy nights in a combustion heater with supplied wood. Fully ducted heating and cooling throughout the house will keep you feeling comfortable all year round. Be sure to experience the captivating smell of the ocean and sea breezes by opening up the front panel doors.

The spacious master bedroom has a large walk in robe and ensuite with full sized bath, bedroom 2 has ample storage with built in robes and a comfy queen bed. Bedroom 3 comes with 2 single bunks and plenty of robe space too. Perfect for a multiple family get-away, or large group.

The main bathroom is very spacious and features twin vanities, a rain-head shower and a large spa to relax in after a day at the beach.

Fully equipped with a huge laundry featuring washer and dryer and iron you have everything you could possibly need for a long stay! Not to forget a fully enclosed and large lawned backyard perfect for the kids to play.

Plenty of facilities nearby with a very short walk to Pa's Cafe, wood fire pizza shop, and Whalers restaurants. For those that enjoy fishing the boat ramp, the wharf and Petrel Cove is close by. Conveniently located between Granite Island and The Bluff it is only a few minutes drive to the unique attractions of Victor Harbor. Whales frequently visit the bay so keep an eye out!

THE GOOD - Stunning views, beautiful, well contained light filled home. Excellent appliances. Close to local deli and restaurant (handy but be aware it feels like Rundle mall during peak holiday season). Gorgeous huge doors you can open for a sea breeze. My two youngest kids loved the sandy beach directly across from the house and walking in the shallows looking for sea creatures. Victor is a short trip away and has everything you might have forgotten to bring. THE BAD - The master bedroom bed was so hard that I had to go to Victor to purchase a mattress topper. My husband who loves a firm bed likened it to sleeping on concrete. The bed in the 2nd room was much better. The gorgeous doors that open to the sea are lovely, but having no front fence, makes it unsuitable for small children. They can easily run out to the road. Plus during peak season there are people walking past peering in. THE UGLY - The reason we hired this place was due to two words 'wheelchair accessible'. It's not. Sure, you can get a chair in the door (just) but we could barely fit the wheelchair down the hallway, was even worse trying to get it into the bedroom. Showers were completely inaccessible. We brought my daughters shower chair with us, that did not fit the skinny shower screen gap. Really disappointed. We take one family holiday each year with our special needs daughter, due to all the extra care she needs, this was it. It made it much less comfortable. I wanted to give a 1 star review based on this alone, as it was the major reason we hired it, but it really is a beautiful holiday home for a family with older children, singles, couples and no one with a wheelchair. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE HOME, THIS IS NOT IT. UNLESS YOU CAN WALK AND GET OUT OF YOUR CHAIR ALONE.

Great house, lovely view, convenient location

Such an easy, comfortable house to stay in. Very handy having a deli and a couple of restaurants 2 doors down. They were nice places to eat too. We would definitely stay again. Maybe take your own bedding if you can, or check if owners have stocked up on some more. Overall a really terific place. Free wifi too which is great with kids.
