Casa Ka'an recomendada para estancias de varios días y con familia.

El lugar está muy bien respecto a su precio ya que es un apartamento pequeño pero acogedor, tiene todas las comodidades para estar tranquilo desde su cocina con buen espacio, utensilios y lo necesario para poder cocinar, la habitación era amplia y muy bien ventilada, el AC y el ventilador funcionaban muy bien y el baño era amplio. Cerca tenía tiendas, un Chedraui el cuál tenía una parada de bus público que te llevaba a playa norte o bien para poder ir al sur. La piscina es un poco honda para los niños pero estaba todo muy bien aseado y bastante comodo, lo recomendaría para una estancia de varios días en un lugar muy tranquilo.

La ubicación no es la mejor pero hay transporte público cerca y/o taxis disponibles si no se alquila carro o un golf car para andar la isla. Hubo un tema con la filtración del agua en el acueducto al parecer ya que estuvo goteando agua los últimos dos días, deberían revisar esto para que lo puedan arreglar.

Great recommendation!

The room was nice and clean with a spacious bathroom and nice swimming pool. Even though the apartment is not in the center of the island, the location is still good because there is a big supermarket (Our room had a fridge so this came in very handy!) at 5 minutes walking and some nice restaurants at 10 minutes walking. Also, if you'd like to take a taxi to the center or the northern beach (really nice beach) the main road was also very nearby from which you can easily get a taxi for 100 pesos. Wifi connection is also good in the room.

Nice little place close to largest grocery store

Cozy room just off a refreshing little pool. Good wifi, good TV, very comfortable bed. Staff was very accomodating and communication regarding any concerns was very quick.

Low shower pressure & water was too hot but staff fixed this very quickly.

good location needs more cleaning

the property is in a quite area and the maintenance manager was friendly and welcoming.

the bathroom floor was full of sand when we arrived. the water pressure in our sink was non existent. and worst of all we had 8!!!! cockroaches in our room - disgusting to say the least.

Too expensive for what you get

Large bed, reasonably comfortable with good ac and fan.

Dated room, no bedside lighting, horrible TL light makes the room even less attractive. Construction work going on, empty building sites around the house, no pressure on our sink tap, leaking sink. Location is bad, middle of the island, you need transportation to get around the island. Probably worth 30 dollars a night, we paid 60, so largely overpriced.

Very clean, pretty rolm

pool, big comfy bed, easy walk to Chedroui, very clean!

not a dislike - more a suggestion- a lamp by the bed for reading would be great. also a small fridge would have made my stay more comfortable

Great place to stay

Good location! Away from the touristy crowd ,clean pool ,huge comfy bed! Local restaurants and supermarket nearby. Friendly and helpful host . Will be back !

I would not recommend staying her for more than one or two nights

The property was clean when we first arrived. The maintenance man was very kind and helpful There was a fridge we could stock with water

We were told the place would be cleaned every 3 days but it was never cleaned during our 6 night stay. The soap dispenser ran out and was not replenished either. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. There was only one thin sheet on the bed. This place is bare bones. There is no kettle or coffee maker, nor is there a close coffee place. It might be fine for a one or two night stay but anything more than that is quite uncomfortable.

no hot water , toilets not flushing then the staff tossed our bags in the apartment , breaking 1 bottle of alcool in the luggage not impressed ! amenities not matching the price charged …. way too expensive shouldn’t be on booking.com

a great option

the location is rather quiet and conveniently close to a few restaurants, small shops, and the Chedraui supermarket. it's great to be able to rent bikes right at the hotel. the staff are friendly and helpful.

I can't complain much! it would be nice to have two chairs at the table in the room and a small lamp instead of the ceiling light.

Boutique Hotel Exceeded Expectations

Boutique hotel, only 8 rooms, friendly personalized service, pool, quiet/safe location, proximity to large store Chedraui & numerous taquerias, fridge in room, excellent air conditioning

NO WIFI IN UPPER ROOMS, ONLY GIVE ONE TOWEL FOR TWO PEOPLE AND THEN ACCUSE YOU OF TOWEL THEFT

Huge Bed was the main silver linning, hard to get to if you don't have a car, even harder to get from there back into town... or anywhere for that matter.

NO WIFI in our room, we had to sit beside the pool. We were only given one towel, and no floor towel either, despite the tiles in the bathroom getting very dangerous... we were subsequently accused of stealing the one towel we were given, highlighting how clue an operation it is.

Very disappointing

Large comfy bed. Good bed linen.

Waited 2.5 hours for check in. This problem was compounded by the fact my mobile had stopped working. When explaining this I was told I could check out before I checked in! Facilities - a fridge. No tea or coffee making facility. There is no cafe or restuarant nearby. Swimming pool. Numerous broken tiles. Needs painting. General appearance would suggest lack of maintenance and looks unclean. The sink unit isn't connected to wall and little space for toiletries. Only hot water available from bathroom sink. My 3 night stay cost just under $50 per night. This accomodation offers little or no value for money. I can not recommend this accomodation

the location being in the local area instead of downtown part of the island.

no room cleaning at all during the stay and even getting extra towel was extra charge. any additional thing you wanted steamed like with extra cost and description said fridge was included but was not there and the guy told us we need to ask for it if we wanted but took almost 1 day to get it installed.

good value for small money

cheap, location is okay, taxi to center is not expensive (<=100mxn). if you need cheap stay to sleep, this is the place.

Superb

Very clean and comfortable. Felt safe and secure. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good AC and a quite fan. I liked the tiled floor and big bed. Plenty of space. Shower was good but did take while for hot water. It works but I takes a few minutes.

Wifi didn't reach my room to well (top floor, far to one side) fallowing remarks weren't subtracted but would put the room over the top if added. A bed side lamp( light switch is by the door) a fridge ( wasn't missing but would be a nice add) and a Wifi booster so I could use Wifi in my room.

Great stay and great hosts at Casa Ka'an!

I had a great time at Casa Ka'an! Salvador was a great host, he welcomed me and gave me a few tips about Isla Mujeres. The room was perfectly clean, AC and wifi were working very well. The location is convenient, at the middle of the island so you can easily walk towards the North and South beaches (within 40min).

No hot water. A bit noisy as it is close to the road and there are a few roosters in the neighbourhood :)

A most excellent little hotel

the location was more local with a great bodega style breakfast/lunch down the road. exceptionally clean and with great hosts. We were grateful to have stayed, so much so we extended a few days.

Location: near public bus (20MXN) cleanliness and staff.

Place was ok for my overnight

Hotel was good, staff was there to greet me when I arrived and brought me straight to my room.

The area was ok but had to walk some distance to find a restaurant.
