This detached cottage, set in its own grounds, offers guests the opportunity to sit back and relax and immerse themselves in period style living. With self check in available, and easy access to acres of beautiful countryside on your doorstep, the cottage offers many benefits for guests wishing to either spend time alone, or within a friendly village community.

The property, while old and characterful, is refurbished inside, with modern furniture and appliances. Maintaining the characterful theme, there is a lovely pub within walking distance serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.

There is a local shop within a five mins walk offering your basic requirements (milk, newspapers etc) with larger shops/supermarkets a 20 mins drive. Public transport is a two mins walk away which provide access to local towns and the airport.

Great break!

Great break!

We loved our stay, perfect for the dogs to run around the garden. The village shop is handy and you can jump in the car to some lovely pubs and towns. Very remote but we were happy with that.

A fantastic little Cottage

Little short break for Mr&Mrs plus 2 Dobermans, a fantastic gem of a cottage situated within a small peaceful village, the cottage is very spacious, clean and fully equipped with all the needs and comforts to entertain a small family, the garden is totally amazing fully grassed with gravel path to the cottage, spectacular wild flowers leading to the cottage door and outside setting area. The garden has the added outside barn and log shed which houses small garden birds, plus fully enclosed which is another added bonus, there are local attractions which the host provides in detail depending on visitors requirements. Overall stay is a 5 star from us.

Great location to explore and relax

Lovely cottage with everything you could ask for. The garden was great for the dogs as it is a fully enclosed walled garden. The kitchen is well stocked, lovely log burner in the lounge and great TV with a soundbar. Steve the host was really welcoming and was able to point us to some great walks and beaches for dogs. Would deffinatley use again to as a base to explore the area.

Nice But!

Positives- lovely enclosed garden, great tv and choices, excellent living area and kitchen. Negatives - no hot water first night as thermostat set too low, traffic noise amazingly loud which was not mentioned in ad, disturbed sleep, need to be gymnastics to get up stairs and door way very low, very isolated with no pub and store with very basic supplies. For almost £300 pounds for 2 nights, overpriced and would expect a 5 star establishment which this was not.

Beautiful cottage with all mod cons, amazing space outside all enclosed for the dog, lovely communication from the owner, so helpful with places to visit ect. Will definitely be going back, perfect location and perfect cottage. Loved it shame it was only nights as didn’t want to leave.

Great Property!

Absolutely loved our stay. Garden is amazing for dogs they loved running around, it’s huge. The property is beautiful. All the appliance, top of the range the TV has an awesome sound system. The lady in the shop was looovely. Steve had given us the names of a few places to eat. All of them were fully booked. Went to the shop to pick up a few bits and she made a call, got us in with the dogs. Steve’s a perfect host. Was there when needed. I’d 100% go back.

Owner was super friendly and helpful even went the extra mile to help us plan our days and evenings. Property was in a beautiful location and really well equipped, had everything you could need for you stay, home from home. Well located for exploring the area and although we didn't take our dog this time we will do in the future. Thank you

Superb place

Superb place

This is just what you need if you have a nervous dog like we do, as there is all round cover so nothing to for him to see. took 15 min to local chippy first night. 2 very long walks just 5 min drive away. local shop 5 min walk away. Accommodation 5 star and we are now waiting for our new fridge freezer after seeing the 1 in the house, house is a home from home.

Amazing place for the family

This was a lovely cottage with beautiful surroundings. It was very peaceful and a great place for the dog. Kids loved the wildlife including baby frogs (loads of them), dragonflies and rabbits.

We had a lovely few days at the property, our two greyhounds loved the enclosed garden with plenty of space to run around. The cottage was cozy and clean with everything we needed. Steve was really helpful in suggesting good local walks and beaches.

Peaceful retreat with a safe garden for dogs

This is a well equipped comfortable cottage. The garden is beautiful and safe for any sized dogs (we have 2 greyhounds). Brilliant in good or poor weather - washer drier and curved screen TV with Netflix definitely a bonus.

Prefect little hideaway

Perfect little hideaway in Lincolnshire. We stayed for three nights. Memorable visits to nearby tealby a pretty village in the wolds and the beautiful coast including the humberstone fitties and saltfleet. Friendly owner Steve was nearby to answer any questions. Only drawback was the traffic on the a18 that is right next to the cottage but we quickly got used to that. Well worth a return trip.
