Welcome to 907 East Arctic - BeachZilla on Folly Beach! This fantastic 5 bedroom oceanfront home has been professionally decorated from top to bottom. The home is pet friendly and has an elevator to ensure everyone in your family enjoys the perfect vacation on Folly Beach. With sweeping views and your own private boardwalk to one of the highest rated beaches on the Atlantic coast, this amazing home is sure to be your repeat destination for years to come.
You'll be greeted with ocean views as soon as you enter through the front door. Your family will love the open floor-plan. The kitchen, dining, and living rooms flow seamlessly together and all have stunning ocean views. Even the most discerning chef and cordial hosts will find all the required gadgets and tools at the fingertips in the newly remodeled, expanded kitchen, including an ice maker so coolers are always full and drinks are always chilled. The 12-seat farmhouse-style dining table provides the perfect setting for family meals after a long day on the beach. Additional bar stools will seat 4 along the kitchen island. The living area has plenty of comfortable seating for everyone to enjoy a favorite movie or the big game. Large sliding glass doors grant access to the screened-in porch and let in ample natural light, and of course those amazing ocean views.
The home features 5 bedrooms and 4 full baths. The first 4 bedrooms are located on the main, first floor. Master bedroom 1 has a king bed and private full bathroom ensuite. It also has a full slider door going out to its' own oceanfront deck. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed on the street side of the home. Bedroom 3 has a queen bed and lovely ocean views with a door to the deck. Bedroom 4 includes a king bed. Bedroom 5 is the ocean view bunkroom on the second floor with 2 twin size bunk beds, as well as 2 twin beds to make the perfect kids room. The 3rd full bathroom is accessible from the hall. Waking up to an ocean sunrise from any of the 3 ocean side bedrooms is pure heaven. All bedrooms have flat-screen "Smart TV's" with cable and your favorite video apps for entertainment options. Bedding in every bedroom feature fresh, high quality linens and bath towel sets for all 12 guests.
While the inside of the home is truly stunning, the exterior might just be the best part. BeachZilla includes ample outdoor living options including 3 large oceanfront porches, all with deck furniture, and a private boardwalk right down to the beach. The huge screened in central porch has an 8 seat glass dining table and a large sectional couch. It's the perfect spot to enjoy the ocean breeze while reading your favorite book or sipping on a beach cocktail. Easily get down to the beach to build sand castles and take long walks looking for shells and shark teeth. An over-sized outdoor shower is perfect for washing off the salt and sand after a long day in the sun, or drifting away with the sound of the waves under the rainfall shower. Second shower off is located on the boardwalk. A gas grill is provided for outdoor cooking.
BeachZilla is strictly non-smoking and is a family vacation rental. Home is pet-friendly and $150.00 non-refundable pet fee plus tax, per pet, applies to the overall cost of your reservation if you would like to bring a furry companion. Maximum 2 pets allowed. This was a great house with great amenities. The location of the property is perfect. Access to the beach is easy, and right out your back door. The outdoor shower is perfect for rinsing beach items and yourself before coming in. The screened porch is the highlight of this house. We spent so much time throughout the day out here. The kitchen is well stocked. We made meals for a large family all week. The kitchen has everything but a crockpot!
There were a few items that could be better. The elevator didn’t work. Not a big deal but a perk for groceries, etc. The extra ice maker was broken. Also an added perk, but something advertised with the rental that wasn’t operational. The ice maker in the fridge struggles to drop ice properly so you couldn’t get it out through the door. Lastly, if someone is paying premium price for a week at the beach, I want to be able to put my A/C on whatever comfort level is appropriate for my family. 72 isn’t. It was warm at night and this was with fans on, shades pulled all day, and no other options. If the HVAC units can’t handle it, it’s time for new ones!

Our family converged on Folly for a weeks vacation. The house was perfect. It had everything needed to support our group of 10. The kitchen was completely stocked- to include a nice shaker and picks for olives in the martinis! My husband fell in love with the ice maker. And having everything there for a dog was another amazing treat!
We never felt like we were on top of each other and really it was the perfect spot.
Would definitely stay again and recommend.

The Beachzilla was the perfect home for our family and extended family to host Christmas in Folly. Design and functionality made it easy to relax independently in our own rooms with private view of the ocean as well as congregate together in the living room with large sliding doors to feel the ocean breeze while having dinner at the large kitchen table. Kids played upstairs while playing cards and watching movies while adults enjoyed putting puzzles together on the large screened porch. Nicest home I’ve stayed at in Folly (been going every year for 10+ years) so far.

This property is amazing! Spacious, welcoming, functional and very clean and well maintained. Kitchen is any cook’s idea of a first class space.

We stayed as three young families - 6 adults and 5 kids all under the age of 3 - the week of July 4th. As one could imagine the trip was equal parts wonderful and madness with that parent/child ratio but the house itself was perfect. It easily fit everyone without any issues or anyone feeling too cramped. Each family had their own wings with separate bedrooms and bathrooms. Some of the appliances (notably the fridge) are at the end of their useable life and could be swapped out but they all still work well. The location is awesome - steps from the beach and there is a tidal pool filled with critters that forms at low tide at the end of the nearby jetty that was a free entertainment for kids and parents alike. Certain areas of the house do smell heavily of dog but we brought a dog with us so that is to be expected and the home/property manager is very accommodating from that perspective. Altogether it is a great property and one I would enthusiastically recommend.

The house was perfect for our family. The layout provided space to separate a sleeping infant from the main family room, and everyone was comfortable in their sleeping spaces. The proximity to the beach was perfect. The flow from the kitchen to the other living spaces allowed us to have a lot of family time. My favorite part of the house is the screened in porch- great for reading, napping, playing games and family dinners. We rented bikes and explored the island, and also had a golf cart- which really wasn't necessary. The only downside to the trip was the dining scene- nothing upscale on Folly Beach- you need to go into Charleston, which is close enough if traffic isn't too bad. We would definitely go to Folly Beach again just for this house.

In February we stayed in Charleston for a month and then moved to Beachzilla in Folly for a month. An odd time with the pandemic, so it is hard to judge restaurants and other activities, but Beachzilla was absolute perfection. It was spotlessly clean, very sunny and open. The views, being right on the beach were amazing. The house was decorated so nicely and had EVERYTHING you could possibly think of. The bathrooms and bedrooms were nice hotel quality. I would give it a ten. We loved the management company as well, very responsive and helpful.

House is in great shape except carpet in one bedroom was very soiled. The entire house is updated except for the kitchen and the stained carpet. The bed in the master was fantastic. Great beachside porch. The property managers were very helpful. Pet friendly, elevator and a separate ice maker.

Love both locations. Beach front was a game changer!! So amazing to walk out with your coffee and be able to leave sleeping babies for happy hour on the beach. We brought our dog who loved the ease of coming in and off the beach - and slept on the screened in porch. This house has everything you need with ample parking and perfect space for storing bikes and beach toys etc. It's great that everything is on one level traveling with a crawling baby. We didn't have to proof anything. House layout made great sense and we had the best time hosting friends who stayed 2 blocks away but not beach side. They were very jealous of our house and setup. We waiting on the beach before check-in and then walked up when we were texted. It was an amazing vacation - Folly Beach has my heart! Rent bikes if you stay here it is so fun to ride bikes on the beach!!!

Great property, Great locatoin
This is our 2nd visit to the BeachZilla. Overall we love this home. Its got a great proximity to town and amazing beachfront views. The screened in porch is perfect for morning coffee and night time card games. The only downfalls are the home does need some updates which I'm told will happen next year. Also, the master bedroom mattress was not comfortable. We purchased a mattress pad and left it there for future guests. Love our time here and made so many great memories with our family.
