Good value if you are only staying for a short stay in Samos.

Close to port and airport.

Can see beach but unless you are in excellent cardiovascular shape will need a cab to get back and forth.

Superb

I liked the location and the distance from the main area. Being a little far was good and made it more peaceful

there was no covered areas where you could stay warm and away from the rain.

It is up on a hill which provides great views but it is a bit of a hike to the ocean, restaurants and shopping

Reception service lacking

The staff that worked around the pool area were extremely friendly and helpful.

Location not in a walkable distance in the heat, you need a taxi to go to to pythagoreio They leave a cellphone in your room to make calls but the phone was dead and there was no explanation of how to use it and charge it, charger not given to us with the phone. So the phone was useless basically. Reception only open a few hours a day, so good luck to you if you need help calling taxi or anything else outside of these hours. It is a big problem especially at night time because you are staying in the middle of nowhere with noone there to assist you or help you out when needed. Our problem in particular was the noise from another room at night time which was making it impossible to sleep. After an hour of not being able to sleep and contacting the other guest with no luck, we had no option other than seeking help from the hotel. As the reception is closed at night time, they give you a number to call for emergencies. We couldn’t call the number (because the cellphone we were given wouldn’t work) so we had to pay $ to buy skype credits just to call the reception!! When you ring the number they say they are based at another hotel (chain) and cannot help you out or offer any sort of help- you were were by ourselves staying up all night trying to figure out what to do! I would definitely not call this place a hotel as there is basically no reception service after 5pm. So probably an airbnb type of service at best.

Lovely first week in Greece

The location was good, not far away from the center (10 minutes walk) and with a good view. The rooms are cute, simple but good. The bed was a bit hard but for a couple of days it's good. The staff is lovely, they help you with everything. Special thanks to Efi, she is very lovely and made our stay even better than it already was. Breakfast is good. Definitely a good place to stay if you wanna be close to Pythagoteio.

The bed and pillows were very comfortable

It was a little further from the port than it seemed. It was just maybe 200 ft above the water on the side of the small mountain , but the walk was almost a mile a steep road. Or a shorter distance 1/4 mi. and up 125 steps

Just like paradise

From the moment we arrived at this hotel the manager and the staff made us feel welcome and comfortable. They expected us and they were 110% prepared . The hotel itself is modern, very very clean, and the view is magnificent. The pool area is well managed with a pool side bar and a limited but great menu, we had a super delicious gyros wrap. Breakfast again was excellent, with a great view and lots of variety freshly prepared.

Lithos Hotel Big Disappointment

Good view, nice bedroom (bathroom dreadful), tasty breakfast and great pool

Pool bar shut at 5 pm after which there was nowhere to get a drink or even a bottle of water. No coffee or tea making facilities in the room and nowhere nearby to buy anything. The description states beach 100 metres away. This is true but fails to mention that this is down over 100 steps. This hotel is not suitable for anybody who isn’t prepared to walk up and down these steps to the nearest taverna, supermarket, beach and harbour. The details are misleading as we would not have booked a hotel so far from everything.

Disappointment

The woman at the reception was nice. The lobby was nice.

-The bathroom was dirty when we got there, and was not very nice at all. (Note that in my photo of the bathroom there is a towel on the floor that we put there, not the hotels fault) -The shower head broke mid-shower -the pool is not very nice -the breakfast is really bad -the staff at the pool bar seem very inexperienced -our room had nails (??!!) in the wall We paid 100 euros for one night. I have been to hotels for half the price that were much better.

There are better options in Pythogoreio

The view from the room

No parking and far from Pythogoreio center (you need a car). The breakfast was poor and no good variety. Also, the bathroom was small and the water pressure was low. Not value for money option.

We had a great time. A big thank you to Angelos

Angelos is an exceptional young gentleman, very hard-working, very pleasant and attentive to his guests and always focuses on finding solutions to any issues we raised or any information and help we asked for. Angelos really made a positive change to our experience, I only wish all managers of the hotels I am visiting were like him.

the two single beds joined together to create a double bed. Of course, we were warned that it would be the case of joining two beds for the room we wanted but it is truly uncomfortable for a couple.
