Urlaubsfreude Ade! Für uns ne Katastrophe

Die Lage zum Meer und die Betten.

Kurzgefasst, wir würden dieses Hotel für uns nicht wieder wählen. Die Urlaubsfreude wurde bei der Anreise schnell getrübt. Es las sich bei der Buchung besser und die Bilder lockten uns. Wir sind als Familie gereist uns mussten 2 Zimmer buchen. Das war am Ende der Reise das Geld nicht wert. -Parkplatz war Glücksache, welche völlig unangemessene 25 Euro am Tag kostete (vom Hotel zusätzlich berechnet!) -Personal spricht nur Englisch oder Landessprache (muss man wissen); für zusätzlich okay -Freundlkeit vom Personal an der Rezeption ist echt verbesserungswürdig; da sind die Reinigungsleute freundlicher und lächeln einen an -Klimaanlage zu laut für einen erholsamen Schlaf und nicht regulierbar -Schimmel in den Fugen der Dusche, schlechter Ablauf, sodass nach dem Duschen das Wasser im ganzen Bad stand -Keine Möglichkeit nasse Sachen vom Strand (Handtücher und Badehosen, etc. zu trocknen), es fehlt an Hacken -direkte Lage an der Hauptstraße und man hört den Lärm dolle -Zimmergröße ist klein -vom Frühstück waren wir schockiert; der "Kaffee" nur übersüßter Instand, man kann es nicht als das bezeichnen -die "Säfte" auch aus dem Automaten, völlig übersüßt und nicht trinkbar , widerlich -billiges ciabatta Brot, kaum nachgefüllt -Selbst einfachste Dinge, wie Ei, Rührei, Jogurt, Waffeln etc. wurde kaum bis sehr schleppend nachgefüllt -Kein frischer Obstsalat oder überhaupt was gesundes -Die Preise im Restaurant und an der Bar völlig überzogen und nicht angemessen; selbst wenn man bereit ist, im Urlaub mehr zu bezahlen Wir sind letztendlich mit den Kids woanders zum Frühstück, weil man das mehrere Tage nicht durchhält. Keine Abwechslung! -Platzfindung Glückssache -Im Foyer eine lieblose Spielecke für Kinder, die dreckig ist -Wer Erholung am Strand sucht, sollte sich vorbereiten; man findet sie nicht -extrem schlechte Liegemöglichkeiten; dreckig; 2 Liegen kosten 25 Euro, 1 Schirm dazu 10 Euro -Damit landet man täglich!

Beautiful hotel and exellent personality.

Large and spacious room with modern furniture. Very spacious closets. Very clean bathroom and everything is well organized. The staff is very friendly and helpful, one of the best service centers in Opatija. Parking in the garage. Excellent breakfast and dinner on principle fine dining, servied in buffet. Delicios breakfast with lot of choses, from cakes, eggs benedict, the best. Highy recomemded.

Location, staff, everyone was very nice, breakfast, the fact that there is a small corner where kids can play, lobby

I didn’t find the bed to comfortable. But that is just my preference

Schönes Hotel, zentral gelegen

Perfekte Lage, gutes und ausreichendes Frühstücks- und Abendbuffet, Zimmer war sauber aber etwas klein, Preis-Leistung für diese Buchung toll,

Hotelgarage 20€ pro Tag zu teuer, Kurzparkzone hinter dem Hotel ist günstiger (ca. 13€ für den ganzen Tag), Personal beim Abendessen könnte aufmerksamer sein, keine Abwechslung beim Frühstück, es gab jeden Tag das gleiche, aber das war dafür gut,

Sagra della moquette e del fumo!!!

Colazione ricca. Posizione della struttura nei pressi del centro.

Appena entrati odore persistente di fumo _ sigaretta dappertutto in ogni dove, dalla reception, all'ascensore, nei corridoi, nel bar dove gli avventori del casinò fumano liberamente, a confine con chi prende un semplice caffè! Inaccettabile! Parcheggio in garage a 20 euro.... E x finire MOQUETTE dappertutto !!!!! Camere, corridoi, e ....udite udite: in sala ristorante!!!!! Mi dispiace nn posso consigliare.

Nice hotel at a nice village

I loved the size of the room. It was a superior one and I had a lot of space. It was modern and refurbished. High quality sleep, very quiet. It has a lot of services like restaurant for half-board, normal restaurant and a bar, spa and so on. The male receptionist that welcomed us from the beginning was the best of the whole hotel.

In the buffet dinner included in the half board it was difficult for us to taste something we liked. Food didn't have the quality expected for a 4 star hotel like this. Waiters had sad faces, did not address a single word to you and you had to try and ask them to bring the drinks to you, something which seemed to annoy them. The same thing at the bar, did not feel happy working. And drinks came warm, which is unacceptable. Parking is 20 euros in a garage. When the garage is full, they have a few places in the back part of the hotel, in the open air, and very difficult to park. The price is the same and it shouldn't be...Photo attached. The shower leaks to the floor when you have a shower and the pipes release a strong smell after all night. In my view, they need to take care of these details.

Looking forward to return.

Our stay was very pleasant. The hotel have a very good kitchen and staff are very friendly.

Parking is difficult space wise and there are very narrow streets around the hotel. When now using Euro it have become quite expensive as a tourist destination.

The staff from the checkin was friendly, the location nice, close to stores, restaurants and sea. Clean and nice room.

Too expensive for what it offered. Messy in the common areas. Cigarette smell in the entire lobby and breakfast restaurant. The back of the bar is open and all the cigarette smoke from the casino is coming into the lobby, restaurant and bar. Breakfast so and so, with even a small bug and worm seen around... Chairs and tables not properly cleaned. A lot of design styles, around the lobby, bar and restaurants which makes it feel crowded and messed up. Children playground near the entrance of the casino. Common areas looking like a kitsch hotel, not even close to the 4 stars standards. The price is just to high for these standards.

Disastrous and hideous stay in Hotel Paris in Opatija from 31.07 - 04.08.2023 upon our arrival we have been greeted by owner who told us that there were no available parking spaces in the garage and the alternative parking spaces were available, also belong to hotel. We have extra booked a hotel with garage space which they guaranteed us while speaking to us via phone days before our arrival. However, the owner insisted that we park behind hotel, little narrow alley presumably for the delivery (walking delivery not truck). There were cars parked, based on the one lane street, where you could barely walk least park your car. After hesitation, the owner of the hotel managed to convince us to park there, it took us well over 20minutes to park. Around the car were garbage bins, dozens of drink bottles not appropriately placed. We have taken numerous pictures in case of damage. Each day we have been called from the hotel reception on our private phone (some days that were early in the morning, some whilst on the beach) to move our car because other guests had to leave. We were assured from the owner that that would no one disturbed us because we are on the holiday. Another poor attempt of lying from the owners side. Each day we had to move the car, this process took from 20-45minutes of time. We wanted to leave the first day however we have paid the hotel via booking in advance and had no alternative but to stay. The staff started to argue with us, why we do not leave car keys to them, where we said it is our car, and we paid for the parking (definition and the meaning of parking is to park it safely, not having to remove your car daily). The staff were not helpful, unfriendly, arrogant, ignorant.

If there is a third bed, the room is really tight, the wifi signal is not working, we would appreciate a kettle in the family room.

Very good

Nice room with sea view, great reception staff. Good prices in the restaurant if you are a sea food fan.

The air conditioner was not working in our room, but we had o portable one installed, and the window had to be open a little for the evacuation. The staff offered to change the room the second day, as when we arrived the hotel was full.

Location is great.

Smell of cigarete smoke from a casino in a restaurant, lobby area and kids corner. Lot of things can be improved in this property. Poor housekeeping (mold in shower), poor breakfast and overall service in the hotel. Lack of staff in bar / restaurant. Reception staff is exception - they are all polite, nice and very professional. Rooms - basic and quite small, but ok. No tea/coffee making facilities.
