Soggiorno splendido e rilassante

Posizione vicina al borgo marinaro di sferracavallo veramente bello e vicino alla stazione ferroviaria che consente spendendo poco di raggiungere il centro di palermo senza problemi di parcheggio o traffico.

Sicilia, una terra tutta da scoprire

Dario è davvero un host gentile, premuroso e disponibile. Al nostro arrivo ci ha dato moltissime informazioni. L'appartamento si trova al primo piano di un edificio a Sferracavallo. Posizione ottima, noi abbiamo raggiunto diversi punti di interesse (Palermo centro - prendendo il treno alla stazione vicina - mentre Cefalù, Mondello, Castelbuono, Monreale, Marsala e Saline, Trapani e Saline, Erice con auto a noleggio). L'appartamento è semplice, ma funzionale, ordinato, pulito e ha una meravigliosa terrazza. Al piano terra c'è anche un'ottima pizzeria / polleria. Parcheggio auto coperto disponibile al piano - 2. Che altro dire, tutto perfetto! La Sicilia è una terra meravigliosa, siamo stati davvero bene! Un abbraccio! Silvia, Franco e il piccolo Alessandro.

Palermo sempre bellissima

Posizione strategica, in una zona molto tranquilla, per raggiungere il centro storico di Palermo con il treno. La stazione è davvero a due passi (5 minuti a piedi), il collegamento è ogni ora e ci impiega 25 minuti ad arrivare. L’appartamento è molto carino e funzionale, con una bella terrazza a disposizione. Dario, il proprietario, è semplicemente fantastico: da lui ho avuto ogni informazione necessaria!

Sferrocavallo is a good place to stay, great seafood restaurants and easy access to the centre of Palermo by train or bu

Lovely apartment, in a great location for easy access to Palermo and surrounding areas. 5 minutes walk to the railway station and 8 minutes into the centre of sferracavallo. We chose to stay here to be out of the wonderful chaos of Palermo but near enough to get there whenever we wanted. It was a great choice. Dario (host) was really friendly and so helpful with all our questions.

Lovely apartment, in idyllic setting, close to all amenities.

Very close to transport, bus and train, got train to Palermo City and the airport, got bus to Mondello beach, Village and beach within a ten minute walk. Dario the host was very accomdating, and gave great tips on where to eat and places to visit. Pizza restaurent directly under the apartment and food was lovely. Apartment was very clean and comfortable. Seven days where depending on your mood you coul enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of Sferracavallo, or travel into the hustle and bustle of Palermo. Would stay again.

Bed Bugs... we slept in the car and flew back home :(

Room seemed nice and the communication was easy and flexible at first. Also there was a washing machine. Host seemed nice and reliable until the discussion of the damages caused.

We had to cancel our Italy trip one week early due to the bed bug infestation. Most of our money for this apartment itself we got back, but no damages whatsoever were compensated. We asked for a partial compensation of the damages caused (specifically the alternative hotel cost of 150 € we had to take for one night after sleeping only a few hours in the car the night before when we found the bugs). Total kill count: 7, Total number on site: Who knows...

Exceptional

The apartment was very nicely equipped with good taste. The breakfast and dinner on terrace with nice view of mountains was so pleasant. The place was quiet, just few minutes walk from train station Palermo-Sferacavallo and also to the beach it was a short walk. Nearby is a Palermo popular holiday area Mondello with beautiful sand beaches. In the same building downstairs you could buy for really good money very tasty pizza or chicken for evening dinner on the terrace.

No complains :-).

Exceptional

Very nice and cosy place with a view on the mountain and huge terrace. Seaview restaurants in 5-7 minutes walk and helpful and friendly host. The flat has all the necessary things and secured parking place is provided - that is very important in Palermo! Highly recommended.

Nice and cosy flat close to the seaside

Very nice, clean and well-maintained flat located 10 minutes on foot from the seaside and 5 minutes from a train station. Beautiful view from the terrace on a nearby mountain. Quick and easy check in and check out. Restaurants, cafes, and grocery stores nearby. The host was very friendly and helpful. I wish there were more flats like this one on Booking.

The neighbours were pretty loud but only until they put their children to sleep. There could be a few wine glasses in the kitchen

Beautiful stay in Sferracavallo

Our stay was exceptionally good. Starting with the owner who is a very kind and hospitalble man. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and it had a lot of useful inventory. The infrastructure is also good, you can reach Palermo by train easily. We definitely recommend staying here.

Very accommodating host, provided everything we needed.

Everything was clean and tidy when we arrived. Felt homely and Dario had left plenty of leaflets and gave us travel tips for things to do and see. On-site Pizza was also very good.

Nothing wrong with the property itself, only downside was next door was very noisy.

Exceeded expectations.

Tho host Dario was very attentive and helped us instantly with anything we needed and gave us tips about points of interest. (I also very much consider great food a point of interest :D) I never got bored of the view from the terrace, it was magnificet. The appartment had all the necessary appliances and more. It was perfect/very comfortable for a longer stay. Bonus: there is a superb pizza place right below.

Exceptional

Both owners are extremly friendly and helpfull (also fluent in English). The apartment is very spacious and clean. We were very pleased with the equipment provided, the only thing I could point out missing would be the teakettle. The view from the apartment is also a great addition, and pizza place just round the corner serves as a great addtion (6-8euro for pizza). I would highly recommend staying at La Locanda Del Cedro for everybody, great job Giuseppe&Dario! :)

Convenient and comfortable

Close to the center of Sferracavallo and easy to reach Palermo, and vice versa, as it is very close to the train station. Host was very nice and accommodating, gave plenty of info about the area and was quick to respond to questions via phone. Would recommend and book again if we were to visit Sferracavallo again. Apartment was comfortable and had what was needed.
