Situated in Kitty Hawk, this attractive bed and breakfast for $225 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Welcome to Franklins Tower, a new construction hideaway on Kitty Hawk Preserve. This is a very private 2 bedroom, one bath guest house located in Kitty Hawk ,NC. Whether you enjoy lying on the beach, ocean sports, bird watching, exercising, or the sounds of nature, you can have it all here without feeling like you are in a tourist destination. The Woods Rd., where the home is located, offers easy access to both ends of Kitty Hawk Beach, but also offers easy access to all other areas within the Outer Banks. The pedestrian multi-use path runs in front of the private driveway offering an easy walk to a unique covered bridge or a great place for riding bikes or a morning run. Wake up to the sounds of nature and have coffee on the large deck overlooking the preserve, or enjoy a cozy morning in with an abundance of natural light. The town house style offers 12 foot high ceilings throughout the second level offering a cozy but spacious feel. A full kitchen, french doors opening to a beautiful full length deck, as well as a full laundry and outdoor shower on ground level round out the second floor. Granite and custom tile throughout offer a touch of elegance, while offering everything you need to feel completely at home. Both bedrooms have queen beds and we offer a queen sized air mattress for that occasional extra person. Free Wifi and streaming service included. The owner of this property is onsite offering you as much privacy as you wish, but available if needed at any time. So bring your surf board, bikes, and yoga mat, or whatever you need to relax and let us take care of the rest. If you forget them use mine! I look forward to meeting you. The living space is 700 square feet with an additional 300 square feet of private deck space. It does not feel small due to the high ceilings and layout, but may not be large enough for families with multiple kids. This house is so private and serene and the hosts go out of their way to make sure you have what you need without interfering with your stay. It was the comforts of home in a new location! The house was spotless seems brand new. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back!

Franklins Tower was amazing. The hosts were extremely caring and made sure that we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. It felt like home. The deck outside was so peaceful, relaxing and comfortable as you felt like you were in a nature retreat. We saw hummingbirds, squirrels, and a baby frog visited us nightly. We had a great time and would love to visit again. Thanks.

Lovely home with awesome owners! Had a death in the non immediate family and they offered to let me stay an extra night bc we couldn’t come on the original day. They refunded me for the night and was completely with in their rights to not do so! They went above and beyond to make my stay perfect! Highly recommend this home and will be staying here again

We loved everything about staying here. It was in a great location, convenient to everywhere we wanted to go, but very private. The house was beautiful, comfortable and clean. We can’t wait to stay here again!

Very nice getaway on this private property. My family really enjoyed the back deck. Very peaceful, watching the hummingbirds and little tree frogs. The beach was close within driving distance. An added bonus was that the property owners had the house fully stocked. They provided beach chairs and a tent (however- this was broken when we got it out but we made it work for our beach day). The owners through in some wine and chocolates. Overall- great experience and just enough space for our family of 4.

Very nice property that is partially secluded. Very quiet area with a short 5 minute drive to beaches. Property is well maintained and very clean. Has all of the amenities you want for a beach house. Owner was responsive and friendly. 5 thumbs up!! Loved the outdoor shower. Check it out!

My son’s wedding took place nearby during my stay and this was an amazing location! I hosted a small brunch and all of my guests were envious!! The house is so cool with private outdoor space where you are “in the woods”!

We absolutely loved our stay at this property! The location is ideal--close to the beach and restaurants but in a quiet wooded area to retire to at the end of the day. The house was immaculate and had all the amenities we needed, plus! Dave was available to answer questions or help when necessary, but gave us our space and we felt like it was our own for the visit. Thanks for all the work you put into it and your attention to detail!

My fiancé and I spent 4 nights at Franklin Tower in April 2023. It is perfectly located on OBX… 1 hour north and you are on Cordova Beach… 1 hour 15 minutes south and you are in Hatteras Island…. drive right onto the ferry to Ocracoke. 30 minutes north to Duck, 30 minutes south to Manteo. The cottage is located in a well manicured, quiet neighborhood, 5 minutes from the two main roads (routes 12 and 158). Wonderful at the end of a day to escape the hustle and bustle and relax in this comfortable peaceful space. Perfect for 1-4 people, beautifully decorated beach cottage with open floor plan and awesome deck space. It is obvious how much time and attention David and Sheli spend in making sure their guests have everything they need to enjoy their vacation. We will be back again next year for sure!!

2nd time renting out this property, the owners are really nice and are always prompt with communication. House is very well maintained and is done tastefully. 5-10 minute drive from Kitty Hawk beaches and easy access to Duck and Corolla. Highly recommended if you are considering.

Franklin Towers was a perfect place for my daughter and I to stay at the Outer Banks. The home is perfectly situated as you enter OBX and in a very quiet, woodsy area. The home is very clean, perfectly situated with a gorgeous deck backing the woods. The hosts had so many nice touches and the home is super comfortable. We would definitely stay here again! We loved it.

Everything was a breeze. Directions to the house were correct . Push button lock and the code was sent to me a few days before we arrived. The property has a beautiful private back porch with plenty of chairs. Everything was already thought out and everything you needed was in the kitchen. We wanted for nothing the entire trip. We have already talked about a return trip as well as told our friends about this property. If you want a nice private place at the beach this is the one….
