Perfectly restored historic hotel in a great location.

The location was excellent and it is a gorgeous hotel, restored so beautifully. Our room was comfortable, clean and we loved the furnishings and claw foot bathtub in the bathroom.

The hotel was built in 1882 and there is not elevators to the 2nd or 3rd floor, which is understandable because it’s a historic hotel, but this will be an issue for a disabled person.

Good clean room with hot bath. All was ok.

No free breakfast. Nice hotel restaurant. The food was good.

Noisy. Thin walls. No fridge or microwave in the room. No air condition.

Everything about this property is unique, welcoming, and refined. The staff is all around great from waiters to housekeepers to the owner. They, along with the hotel itself, provide an exceptional stay in one of Colorado’s most beautiful towns. If you’re coming to Silverton, stay here!!

Beautiful old hotel in the middle of town. Not many breakfast options available.

This is an old historic hotel. Absolutely beautiful! Just be ready for a very small room with no elevator and no AC.

location, charm

main floor extremely hot, room 322 on 3rd floor was freezing. 64 when checking in, 58 in the morning with heat set at 70. We could not sleep, we put all our clothes on at 3am, up at 6 am to leave room and warm up.

Fantastic place to stay in Silverton, Colorado.

This hotel was fantastic. As old as it was the renovations were incredible. It had the modern feel but still kept the history of the hotel itself. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Was a little expensive but well worth the price. Would definitely stay here again given the opportunity.

The parking was terrible as it was on the street, no designated parking place. Stayed on the 3rd floor, no elevators. But to keep the aesthetics of the hotel, I completely understand. Maybe a bellboy?

Historical and unique - excellent place to stay!

This is a great and unique place to stay because of its history. The rooms are clean, remodeled, and well appointed. The only complaint is that there is no AC and on a hot summer day it can be a bit stuffy. There are ceiling fans and if you open the windows, by morning it feels good. Silverton is at 9300 feet elevation so I can see why they don't invest in AC as you probably only need it like one month or two out of the year. Overall, a fun and unique place to stay!

Quaint motel. Very small room. Walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Cute and comfortable. A bit pricey for size of room with no coffee in room and have to pay extra for breakfast.

Our stay was enjoyable and like stepping back in time!

I LOVED the old hotel, although you have to know that it is historic and not as convenient as a modern hotel. No phone in the room, no elevators, no restaurant but you can walk directly into 2 eating establishments from inside the hotel. It had period furniture, beautiful light fixtures, spotless updated bath with a claw foot tub! Flat screen TV worked great! View was beaufiful!

There wasn't good service during check-in and check-out---- no one at the desk! A small elevator for older or impaired guests would be nice. I was recovering from knee surgery.
