Creek House is fully-equipped and well-stocked to accommodate families and groups of up to eight guests. For your comfort the house has all the conveniences of home and the comforts of a luxury rental property. With a few signature rustic touches the cabin décor creates the perfect laid–back hill country ambiance to unwind. From the cabin’s plush living room furniture by the back glass walls overlooking the creek below to the cute and cozy blankets on the loft beds the casual comfort and warmth of a hill country lodge permeates the cabin. The house has a beautiful view of the river and a very pleasant patio and the social area is also very cozy.
The location is perfect very close to the center of Wimberley.
The appliances and kitchen equipment are excellent, you get everything you need.
There are a few things that didn't work, the coffee maker was moldy, it hadn't been cleaned properly. The floors were not clean, they had accumulated dust or dirt.
The shower water was not very hot.

It started off badly because we had a hard time finding the property. Then we were supposed to find the key under the mat. Not there. The only phone number I had to call was the after hours plumber. He didn’t know the owner but made some calls for me to find out and then called me back and said someone would be there soon. He was a life saver. I really appreciated his help.
The house was beautiful, on the creek and across from the river. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck. Lots of pretty flowers too. The house seemed musty, dusty and had cobwebs. It had been cleaned, but either a long time ago or not well.
The coffee maker didn’t work. No hot water in one shower. Master bath toilet tank would not fill up.
Several light bulbs were out. The volume on the master tv wouldn’t work. The tv in another bedroom would not work.
We had a great time but I really expected much more for the extremely high cost.

Grown-Up’s Tree House
What a beautiful and perfect place to enjoy seven high school friends for a lady’s weekend! We have been friends for over four decades and get together a few times each year. I chose Wimberley quickly since we had never been there. I spent time researching VRBO properties and felt from the pictures, the description, and the reviews, that Creek House would work. We were all delighted at the fun and comfortable decor, the three bathrooms, the incredible deck that overlooked the flowing creek. We especially enjoyed the feeling of being in a tree house! The lush April colors and abundance of trees that were visible from every room, were truly breathtaking and special.

The Perfect Creek View
The photos of the property and surrounding landscape does not begin to do it justice! The perfect spot to reconnect with friends and nature. Home was clean and kitchen had everything we needed. Just know the house does have several levels and steps are required to get to multiple locations throughout the house. We are already planning a return visit!

Serene
My only regret is that we had just 3 nights. We needed at least a week to enjoy the beauty that surrounds this house. Nestled between the creek and the Blanco River with incredible views. I'm still thinking about that porch.

Girls Weekend
The property is located very close to everything....you could certainly walk to downtown if you felt like it. The back patio was our spot for most of the time there....just very beautiful and tranquil. A few things - the third bedroom is a loft with four twin beds - no doors and open above kitchen. Only put the person who is the early riser in that room! We did have some plumbing issues but the owner, who was in town, was very quick to respond. The only complaint was they had a Keurig and N'Espresso machine but no pods to use (I am just used to most VRBO's including that) so "you are welcome" to the next group going in....we have you covered since we left our extras! We really enjoyed some of the local restaurants
such as Creekside Cookers BBQ (so close to the house), Leaning Pear and Wimberly Cafe. Also for shopping go enjoy the infectious laughter and incredible charm of Heather at Rescued Relics (near Creekside BBQ) - I promise you will walk out smiling! The town still has some mask required (restaurants) but optional at many of the stores. If you are in that area we also took a detour to Driftwood Wineries - really beautiful spot with some good wines. Buy a bottle and enjoy the view.
