This 4 bedroom 2 bath home sleeps 13 is within walking distance to the ocean, approximately 160 yds. Large upstairs bedrooms boast 2 queen beds, 3 doubles and one single. The master bedroom is located downstairs and features a king bed. This home also has upstairs and downstairs decks, full size washer and dryer and a fully stocked kitchen with gas grill downstairs. Parking is available for up to 4 cars onsite with overflow parking available. Parking fees are handled by Ocean Lakes. The golf cart makes travel throughout the campground fun and entertaining. Ocean lakes offers 3 pools, waterpark, basketball courts, putt putt course, arcade, skateboard park, horseshoes, and countless other activities.

This was a perfect rental for our family. It came with a golf cart, was walking distance to the beach and close to the water park and other amenities.

Overall had a great stay. Great location, close proximity to the beach. The house was very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay immensely. If I had to critique, They can update the grill and maybe get some new pans for the kitchen. Other than that everything was as expected. Tim the owner contacted me and was very helpful with everything needed to get to the property and get in and he let me in a little early which was nice because I arrived unexpectedly early.

We plan a vacation on Fall Break every year In October. The past 2 years we have used this property because of the price, the easy access to the beach, and the location includes the use of the golf cart. The only problem with this location is the furniture needs to be replaced. It is extremely uncomfortable. Also, the dryer takes forever to dry the clothes.

We really had a great time at Ocean Lakes and could not have asked for better weather. They had a variety of fun Halloween activities and the trick or treating was amazing. We definitely want to make this a yearly family tradition. The house though was not very clean and several things are broken and need to be replaced. I only used the downstairs shower and the tub filled up with water while showering so we were always rushing to get through. We washed the coffee pot several times and couldn't get it clean so had to go each morning to purchase coffee. We never could get logged onto the home Wi-Fi and there were only a handful of tv channels which was a bummer because early mornings and evening were to cold to be outside. The house was very spacious though and we had plenty of room for everyone and the price including the golf cart was fair.

The house was great for our family of 9. Within walking distance to the beach and a short golf cart ride to the pool and water park. The property manager was excellent to work with. I would highly recommend. Would recommend renting a second golf cart if your family is larger than 5 for the golf cart parade each night. :). Our kids had a blast every day!

The perfect beach getaway
My family stayed at Tim's beach house for my husband's birthday . This was all of our first time staying anywhere besides a hotel/resort type of residence and we felt it was nothing short of amazing. Tim's beach house was stocked with everything you need besides toiletries and linens however, Walmart is right across the street from the entrance of the campground. This beach house was in immaculate condition and more than enough space for our group of 12, ages ranging from 3-73 years old. It was also our first time staying at Ocean Lakes and the fun and activities (waterpark, cornhole, basketball courts, indoor and outdoor pools, arcade room, grocery store and restaurant etc.) that this campground provides caters to all ages not to mention the peace, safety and calmness of Surfside beach as opposed to Myrtle. Tim was also kind enough to allow us to use his golfcart to get around the vast campground and we were also able to rent one for a fair price within the campground itself. There was not one complaint made my any of my family members and we cannot wait to go back!

We had an amazing time and the property is beautiful! My husband and I brought our 4 kids, 2 of our teenage son’s friends, and our 2 dogs and had an amazing time. There was plenty of room for everyone in the house, it was clean, and well taken care of. We would stay here again and have recommended it to family and friends.

Graduation trip
This was the first time using VROB. This has been a great experience. Tim was very nice and made sure we had everything we needed. There was plenty of room for all of us. The house was very clean and the kitchen was very well equipped. We really enjoyed our stay at this house.

The house was VERY roomy so this is a huge plus. Location was great. Not too far from the beach but very peaceful and away from all the “excitement” which was perfect for my elderly parents. Great stay, great location...perfect for large family!
The property easily accommodates the maximum 13 without feeling cramped. The rooms are spacious and the parking area (beneath stilted house) was enough to park 4 vehicles and still afford room for outdoor fellowship. We enjoyed the gas grill and use of the golf cart. Even with 13, one golf cart was enough since we were just a short 2-3 minute walk to the beach. Tim is a super host and was extremely attentive and responsive to questions and correspondence. We had a great stay (albeit short) and will definitely visit again.

First Time at Ocean Lakes
I was happy with the house, the owner was great to work with, but not so happy with the beds, they were extremely uncomfortable and noisy when you rolled over or got out or in the bed. Also Ocean Lakes pools were extremely cold and the children could not enjoy the pools for being so cold. I feel some of Ocean Lakes staff were extremely rude, (not all, but some) and I feel Ocean Lakes Campground was not a good vacation site for our family. We only take 1 vacation per year and this 1 was not a relaxing, good experience. And from speaking with several other owners of properties there they are no longer happy with the park as well. We will probably not visit Ocean Lakes again for our vacation site.
