Siesta Sands is a recently constructed multi-level raised beach house decorated in a Southern beach style to appeal to the modern family or multiple family groups. With 5 bedrooms and 4.5 baths, including 2 true king-bed master suites each with oversized jacuzzi tubs, large walk-in closets and private decks, this home is ideal for the large family or multi-family vacations. Upstairs, bedrooms 3 and 4 each have queen beds and bedroom 5 offers two double beds. Each bedroom has large closets, dressers and nightstands to keep you from having to live out of your suitcases. Each bedroom features a 32-inch flat screen television with cable and remote. The six large flat screen televisions offer multiple entertainment options throughout the house including cable with ESPN. DVD or blue ray players are available for use along with a library of popular movies. The Main level boasts wide open, light, airy spaces including a large, open-concept family room, dining area, kitchen and one of the master suites with its own private screened-in deck. This open and spacious floor plan easily accommodates up to 14 guests comfortably and the extra large carpeted family room is perfect for evening conversations and board or card games with the whole group. First time at the beach for our grandkids and our doggos.The house was great for us. Everyone loved the pool and easy beach access. We all love to cook and the kitchen was equipped to our satisfaction.( although we do travel with our own sharp knives ) Anything you could want (groceries, ice cream, mini golf, pier, beach shops) was just a short drive away. I was even able to get my hair cut on a whim one rainy afternoon. Was one of the best vacations ever! Grand kids are ready to go back....

We enjoyed our stay very much. There were only a couple things that we would like to share with other potential vacationers. The pool is quite small, the information listed about the house needs updated. Some of the pictures need updated, the cleaning service does not put the sheets on the beds, their is no ice chest down by the pool.
The owner is awesome! Our A/C stopped working and she had someone there the same day to fix it.
We would definitely rent this house again in the future.

There was some strange black "soot" on the sides of the pool, grill area, outside steps and living room floor. I wiped down all the railings to clear off the black and as for the owner, she had someone out immediately to clean the floors and look at the grill and all was fine. We appreciated her quick response!

We had a wonderful vacation in this beautiful home. Very large group stayed together. House has a large living room/dining room area where we enjoyed meals together. We walked to the beach each day and spent time in the pool each afternoon and evening. We enjoyed exploring South Myrtle and all that it offers. We found some wonderful restaurants just south of us and loved spending time at the Huntington State park. The only issue we had was with the public garbage trucks and leaving trash every where, which was not the fault of the homeowners.

Layout of house was very nice. Lots of space for the family to hang out together. Pool on the premises was very convenient and nice to relax in.

Excellent! This place was perfect for our family, including our younger grandsons. With security in an unfamiliar location being our main prioritiy, as we traveled with our young grandchildren. We were able to keep them safely secured both inside the fenced area with the pool, and inside the home! The owner was fantastic in communication & quickly addressing any concerns we had! The location is perfect, an easy walk or golf cart to the beach. There was a group of young teens staying right next door, but we never heard them when we went in for the night. Even when we were all outsude by the pools- the solid privacy fencing kept our space private & we never felt disrupted by anything/anyone next door!

Everything was good. Only 2 minor issues. The property is listed as a 5 bedroom 5 bath house, but it’s actually a 5 bedroom 4 1/2 bath. So two people had to share a bathroom instead of everyone having their own bathroom as planned. And the 4pm check in and 9 am check out is not cool. I remember when these places were 12 or 1 check in and 10 am check out times. Especially driving for 12 hours and you can’t get into your house until 4pm. They need to go back to a 1pm check in. Other than that, the house was clean, the pool was great and it’s only a 1 block walk to the beach. The grocery stores and everything else are less than a mile away, which makes everything very convenient. We would definitely stay here again

For a $4000 rental, cleanliness and the list below should be corrected to get a higher rating. Tammy did reply quickly when I sent pictures of what we found. She sent 3 older women, 1 which had a serious illness to rectify the situation. Feeling horrible for that women we just settled for what they could do. We bought our own Lysol wipes to wipe things around the house including bathrooms to feel comfortable.

Upon arrival found unit was not as clean as the pictures and email cleaning list made it seem.
Bathroom downstairs had poop smear on sink
Found the pool was dirty with Sand, bugs, debris. Pool guy never came throughout our stay. According to the check in instructions pool guy would visit 2x week.
Patio, patio chairs and table , grill were very dirty. We couldn’t use the grill. (Women used Lysol spray to clean the dirty patio tables)
Dog poop left on tiny lawn from previous renters
Cigarette butts found all throughout the different decks.
Bed sheets had stains that looked like feces. (Women changed them out for cleaner ones)
Beds were not comfortable
Dishes had dried up crusty food, had to rewash everything we wanted to use.
Pictures need updated. The yard had a small patch of grass 3 dogs had to share. Not what the picture shows.
Found trash from previous renters under multiple beds.

Really nice place for families! Dual master suites was a real plus. Lots of space and just one block off of the beach. Clean, comfortable and the owner was terrific to work with. Very reasonable price for the location.
Suggestions:
If you are there during special events (spring break) expect to spend extra time in traffic.
If you are a large group, consider either bringing extra towels, wash clothes and kitchen towels or order extra linens from the provider. There is a washer and dryer but I spent a good bit of time trying to keep everyone in towels.
Consider the two flights of stairs if you have family members with disabilities.
That’s it…we enjoyed ourselves so much and would like to come back in the future.

Our annual couples' trip took place at this property for 2022. Glad that we booked it! There was plenty of room for the eight of us. Each couple had a bedroom and bathroom to themselves. The dining table, kitchen, and living room were big enough for us to hang out and make meals together. There was plenty of silverware and dishes. The walk to the beach wasn't far. Just so others know, the house doesn't come with much by way of small amenities. Bring all of your own toiletries, hand soap, etc. There was only the roll of toilet paper on the holder, no extra. And they use a linen service, so be ready to put your own sheets on and distribute your own towels. None of these things make me wish we had stayed elsewhere. Just not what I was expecting.

My family enjoyed our stay. The property was spotless when we arrived, with spacious bedrooms and nice closets. The small private pool was a big hit with my nieces, age 10 and 12. The area was quiet and safe. We were lucky to have pleasant neighbors as well. The golf cart rental was just up the street so we could venture out for a bite or run to the store without moving our vehicles. The beach wS a short two blocks away. We called Beach Services so an umbrla and chairs were set up for us daily by 9am. We could not have asked for a better vacation.

Pool is small . BBQ grill is dirty and rusted . Please bring toilet paper , soap , shampoo , dishwasher pods , scrub , paper napkins , aluminum foil. None of the above will be provided for a group , especially for a stay more than 2 days . No beach towels . No privacy curtains in the living area , sliding glass doors and. Night fully visible for the entire world . Location is pretty good , walkable to beach .

It’s the little things, sleeping for 12, but living room seating is only for 6. Not enough silverware and horrible pillows. I went and bought several so we could sleep comfortably. I would advise anyone renting to bring pillows with them.

Perfect for big families
The beach house was absolutely adorable! There was plenty of space for everyone - even our dogs! The beach was just a short walk away, and the pool was a refreshing place to hang out. This house was perfect for our family! We will definitely look into booking it again!

We were disappointed. There were some cleanliness issues, which we brought up to the owner and she attempted to remedy. But there were too many things that were not clean, I didn't want to spend my time texting each time we discovered something.
The mattresses in every room are extremely uncomfortable. They are either very old, very poor quality or both. And thick plastic covers that don't fit the mattress well are on each one, making the sleeping experience even worse.
The house is only a block and a half from the beach, which is great, however while we were there, which was not during a holiday week, people were setting off fireworks every single night from 8pm-11pm. And you're so close to the beach that it sounds pretty loud. People don't seem to clean up afterwards either, so each morning when we would arrive at the beach, it was littered with fireworks trash and cigarette butts. Of course, this is not the owner's fault, and she has no control over that. But if you're looking for a quiet, clean beach that is more family-oriented, I wouldn't choose Garden City Beach.

Everything We Needed
I loved staying at Siesta Sands with my family of seven. It was a great space with four full bathrooms and a half bath off the kitchen. It was immaculate. The pool was awesome. We had everything we needed.

This house was very nice and accommodating for our large family and pets. Everything is as described in the house overview. Very clean place and good location with a very short walk to the beach access. Would definitely recommend staying here.

First time family get away to South Myrtle Beach/Murrells Inlet
The house and property were exactly how the add listed. The layout worked well with our 3 families. (Set of parents, a family of 4, and a family of 3) We had a blast in our own private pool. You can tell this property is only used as a rental. The living room furniture is worn and stained, the carpets had multiple stains, and there were some other random things damaged. All was stated to owner during a check-in text. Which seemed surprising to the owner. The owner stated that the carpets were getting cleaned and the furniture was getting redone the week after our stay. The location was just a short walk or golf cart ride to the beach access. This was very convenient. The property owner was not excited about us renting a battery powered golf cart due to past issues with a neighbor's bad accident. So we got a gas cart instead. Renting this cart was a great idea. We explored so much more of the area. We traveled to Garden City pier to watch the fishermen. And we traveled to Surfside to enjoy shopping and great restaurants. Seeing how we had 3 kids with us, we had a little fun by hanging a pirate flag from the front porch. We were questioned by the neighbor about the flag's meaning. She wanted to know if we were in a biker gang? That felt a little odd and non-welcoming.
Our family is not hard to please. We will consider staying here again in the future. Myrtle Beach and surrounding area was great to us and we are looking forward to returning.

Family Vacation
We had an awesome week at Siesta Sands! The house met all the needs of our large family of 14. The pool was great, the kitchen was roomy enough for a few people to prep and clean, the balconies were an awesome place to hang out. We would book again!
