Make sure to have a 4 wheel drive vehicle, but it’s completely worth it. We will surely stay again!

First off it was filthy, the floors, the tub/shower. Back porch is almost completely rotten-don’t walk out there. Driveway is a butchered mess. Basement full of bugs. On top of that.. air stopped working and thankfully they brought ac units but the upstairs didn’t have a unit so my family and kids had to sleep in the smaller beds where the air was. Just straight up not worth the money they are charging. Worst cabin I’ve stayed in.

The reservation process was seamless, staff friendly on each encounter, and super helpful. We had an HVAC issue and staff was super helpful and got it working quickly. The house is convenient to nearby activities such as white water rafting, tubing, hiking, and Cherokee.

The property was perfect for my family. The only complaints are the front deck needs some boatds replaced, and the beds were noisy. The cabin was fun and we enjoyed our stay. My boys and nephew enjoyed the pool table and hot tub. The cabin has plenty of board games.

We're nice people who rarely complain about anything. Due to previous complaints about the cleanliness and maintenance of this property, I even contacted Yellow Rose several WEEKS before our scheduled arrival date. They assured me that ALL issues were resolved and addressed. Here's a list of what we found.... 1) Plates and utensils in kitchen cabinets had dried food on them 2) roach crawling across kitchen counter 3) mildew and mold around shower in downstairs bathroom 4) maintenance closet downstairs had a bag of garbage and pair of dirty socks thrown in it 5) bed downstairs had sheets on it that appeared to have not been washed from previous guests 6) when hot tub was activated, a layer of "scum" quickly rose to the surface. It obviously had not been cleaned..... The 2nd time it was turned on, one of the jets actually blew out into the hot tub 7) railing on the back deck is loose and a safety hazard 8) no lights on outside entrance steps making it dangerous in the dark 9) the air conditioner stopped working with temps in the high 80s. Management was contacted and did send out their maintenance person. He tried to temporarily fix the thermostat but nothing worked. I called and they sent an actual repairman the next day.... He indicated this had been an "ongoing issue" at this property so he fixed it permanently. We couldn't run all the ceiling fans bcuz they wobble so badly. I reported most of these issues the day we left. Someone does not care about this property.

The cabin is amazing and had so many extras to it. We had three families stay and there was plenty of space. We enjoyed the pool table and darts. The only negative is the steep driveway, we knew it was talked about but driving it was a different story. It was a 5/5 place to stay for sure.

Size of the house was perfect. The amenities need some updating. Gas Grill did not work. Controls on the hot tub were wore out and hard to adjust. Refrigerator quit working (management company was great they quickly brought a temporary one to get us through). Overall we had a good time.

Great company to book with, very attentive company. House was perfect! The fire pit was great for s’mores, the pool table offered lots of entertainment! The house was the perfect size for our family! So many bedrooms!! We loved the views and the neighbors were friendly! Also, the house was decorated for Christmas- it was beautiful and such a welcoming addition to see all the decorations. This house is very nice. It has a look of a previously well loved house that has now, through purchase or change of hands in family, has become a rental and has ceased to be cared for. The kitchen is well stocked w supplies - cooking tools, Tupperware, dishes, silverware. The house is in a very conveniently placed locationSome needed fixes:- The interior stair lights, both stairs coming from loft and going downstairs are missing light bulbs. In fact, check all light fixtures for bulbs. Some lights are missing them. - If there is anything that you can do regarding gravel at steepest part of drive, would be ideal. May be there to help in winter but barely got up in dry weather in fall. - Door in game room. Guests really need to have access to deadbolt key. Door does not appear 100% secure as it jiggles in the door frame w just the basic door lock. - The queen sized bedroom on first floor. There is a lamp that has a cord that is cut. Not certain what happened there. - Loft bedroom, there are bugs in the corners and cobwebs where some of the beams meet the wall.- Loft bedroom, there are cobwebs all over the wall facing bathroom door. Actually, just look at all walls for cobwebs. Walls should be washed 2x per year. - Loft bathroom, truly needs a light either in shower or above toilet. You can’t see in shower when you are in there. - Key hide. We truly had 3 people try the lock several times to get the key out before calling you. After calling you, we tried several more times. Sometimes w same numbers, sometimes rotating the 4 around in case of typo. Would recommend an easier lock to use. While we had same lock and tried to open it several ways, did not get it for at least 50 tries - Some of the outlets in the bedroom do not seem to be switch activated or work. - Providing a cleaning agent other than windex allows renters to keep areas clean, even if relying on a final clean by cleanin

We had a wonderful time. It was a perfect place for a family of 7. The hot tub, fire pit and game room were the highlights for the family. The only suggestion would be to advise guests of the steepness of the driveway which requires low drive and some maneuvering to get up.

Ten minutes from Deep Creek, two minutes from winery and 15 minutes to Bryson City. We enjoyed these attractions. Had a great meal for 15 at Pasqualinos Italian Restaurant. We also enjoyed hot chocolate with Santa at the History Museum.

Misleading
We ride Motorcycles and always rent a house with a garage. This house has a garage and that is why we rented it. Their is nothing that states that we couldn't use the garage. After we learned we had no access to the garage I called yellow rose and they said they would talk to the owner and get back to me. They never called back. We talked to yellow rose before the trip and explained we were bikers and were renting this place because of the garage, they never said anything about not being able to use it. Other than that the 7 days were great, the house was super nice and we had a great time. We learned a huge lesson and we won't make that mistake again. We go down there at least twice a year and this is the first time we had a garage with no access.

The hill up to the house is very steep. We were there in July, I can't imagine driving up when snow is on the ground. This is an older property. There was nothing broken in the house but the bathrooms were out of date. The basement had lots of millipedes crawling around and some made there way upstairs before the end of the week. The backdoor from the kitchen to outside deck was impossible to open which made that space unusable. It's not very private. There is another rental house very close and you share the same driveway. I would recommend to friends that were OK with a casual vacation and could sleep on noisy mattresses. The upstairs bedroom (that has a king bed) is in a loft. You could hear everything that was happening in kitchen and living area. We would probably search for another option the next time we head to Bryson City.
