Welcome, and enjoy our “Banana Belt” of the Southern Oregon coast”! Come and endulge in our cute, beachy, updated 2bed/2bath (both on-suites), with a new queen size “Nectar” memory foam mattress, A new full size memory foam bed with a pull out twin trundle, and a queen size hide-a-bed! Your vacation awaits you and your family! This great location, with an ocean view, provides a relaxing, sleeping space for up to 7 comfortably. An inflatable air mattress is available for 2 extra....This cute home provides a master loft suite, 3 ocean-view deck areas, a fire pit area, a chicken coop (for your fresh eggs in the morning) :-) a newer BullFrog spa/hot tub on our lower, ocean view deck, and a 5 minute walk to our famous Sporthaven Beach. The mouth of the beautiful Chetco River and the Port of Brookings/Harbor are just a very short walk away..... enjoy the amazing outdoor activities here, as they offer so much family fun and beauty! Our amazing and awesome Redwood National Forest is only 20-25 miles away to the south. This beautiful 45 mile coastal range is known as the Wild Rivers much to explore!!! The Chetco River.... Smith River, the beautiful and rustic Winchuck River... are all local and close by, ready to explore, fish, hike and view. The beautiful and wild Rogue River and the rustic Pistol River are just 25-28 miles away to the north on Highway 101. These Wild Rivers offer camping, hiking, biking, and rafting. Oh....And the fishing!! Brookings is known for excellent salmon fishing! Ocean fishing can be chartered here and offer seasonal chinook salmon, cod, rock fish, crab and tuna. Don’t forget Whale Watching! Charter a whale watching tour down in our port, provided by "Tidewinds Sportfishing" The local rivers offer salmon and trout fishing (professional guides available) as well as swimming, snorkeling and rafting. If you enjoy golf, our beautiful Salmon Run Golf Course is just minutes away up the Chetco River. My best friend and I came down for the weekend to do the Redwoods! Was a perfect little spot- and the hot tub was key after hiking all day! House was so beautiful and the gift basket was so nice! Thank you so much for sharing your little retreat with us!

Very well stocked! Only drawbacks were no trundle bed in downstairs room and the fridge didn’t get very cold. We ended up putting food in our cooler with ice. Cute house, clean, well stocked!

This house was the perfect fit for my family of four. It was so comfortable and clean and well appointed plus a hot tub and fire pit. We stayed seven nights and the location was perfect for outings up and down the coast and up the river. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Terrific location, very quiet, at the end of a small street.
Dave and Debbie were always super responsive with any questions we had.
Beds were comfortable; the sheets were super soft and there were plenty of light, cotton blankets, for cool nights (with the window open).
The layout of the house is excellent - a terrific use of space and 4 adults/children would be very comfortable there. The master bedroom is upstairs and in a "loft", overlooking the living room, so privacy would be minimal there. 2 decks and a very clean hot tub added to the fun!
Maybe the best part (for us) - D&D have 6 chickens and they are a delight - in fact, after speaking with Dave about how he manages them, we're going to be taking the plunge and getting some for our house (I've been "on the fence" about this, for the past 3 years).
A BBQ is provided on the lower deck, but it's not a gas BBQ. It's a large Weber that requires briquettes/lighter fluid, which are not provided, so be sure to bring some if you want to use it.

My hubby and I stayed here for my honeymoon and were on the road for 16 hours straight to get here. It was well worth it! This place was so cute, centrally located, and the hosts were the sweetest! We loved the little basket they left for us, as well as the card. The guestbook they have is adorable and they have a cute little recommendations chalkboard. It was wonderful and the hot tub was bigger than expected!

Super close to the beach, restaurants and boardwalk, great views of the ocean from the upstairs balcony. Hot tub was enjoyable and it was nice to have a BBQ. Loved that there was a baby gate for a little one. We would stay here again.

This house was perfect. I’ve been coming to Brookings my entire life (38 years) and this is the best place we have stayed. Clean, perfectly decorated, gift basket on the table. Adorable chickens, fantastic view. We absolutely loved it and so did our 15 year old daughter.

This home is so beautiful and cozy! The host was absolutely amazing. There was peaceful music playing when we arrived and a sweet welcoming gift waiting for us on the table. The home was clean and fully stocked with anything we could have needed. I would 100% recommend this home to anyone looking to stay in the area. And I will definitely keep this home in mind for future stays.

What a beautiful, bright and welcoming home! We felt at home as soon as we stepped in the door. This home is decorated beautifully and had everything we needed (and then some). Everywhere we looked there were little touches that made our stay so wonderful. The chickens were definitely a highlight for us too! They were so sweet and getting to feed them snacks each morning was something we are definitely going to miss. 10/10 would stay again ♥️

Cute little beach house. A little too close to neighbors for our tastes but comfortable and clean. Check in and out was easy. The beach is within sight and an easy walk. Chickens were a nice touch.

Our family really enjoyed our stay. The owners left a welcome basket of Easter themed goodies and snacks which my kids were so excited to find upon our arrival. The hot tub was on and ready when we arrived. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. Would definitely love to stay here again.

Cute cozy beach house short walk from the beach. Everything a house needs. Just don’t expect to sleep well on the pull out couch and bring an adapter cord to plug your laptop into the tv if you want to watch anything. We definitely felt comfortable and were able to take in the surrounding beauty with ease.

Place is cute and very clean. "Beach/ocean view" is a HUGE stretch. Chickens on property for fresh eggs were a fun touch. No hot tub would have been a deal breaker if we could have canceled but I would stay there again. Owners were pleasant.

This house is sparkly clean, with brand new floors (installed the week before we arrived) multiple outdoor spaces, great views from the second floor balcony and really made us feel like we had our own house in Brookings—exactly what we were looking for. Walking distance to Sportmans Beach and the harbor. Hosts were very responsive and kind. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time in this lovely home. The welcome basket was much appreciated after a long drive. The hot tub was perfect and we appreciated the games, puzzles, and beach toys in the closet.
We were expecting to be a bit closer to the beach but found the short drive down the hill to Sports Haven Beach was well worth it.
Overall, this house was the perfect home base for our many adventures in the area.
