heerlijk verblijf gehad

vriendelijke personeel, heerlijk ontbijt en midden in heet (oud) centrum, geweldige locatie voor het ontdekken van de stad

het restaurant is best prijzig en er waren alleen menu's te bestellen en niet a la carte

Gezellig hotel, leuk entree en zeer vriendelijk personeel.

De lounge ruimte en ontbijtzaal. Gezellig met mooi licht en goede meubels. Restaurant Blume is voortreffelijk, heerlijk eten en goede wijn, een avond echt uit!

De kamer, te sober ingericht. Lelijke kleuren en best kleine badkamer. Bed is aan de smalle kant. Veel herrie van de zijstraat.

Disappointing

The common areas and the location were excellent, the reception staff was friendly

The room was quite dark and extremely noisy from the street, we had nearly zero sleep for the two nights we were there. Our room was only partially cleaned on the second day, they made our beds but not the kids beds.

It was a nice stay, but would go somewhere else next time.

It was so close to city centre, a small 2 min walk and you could already see the first shops/ restaurants. Staff was friendly and there was a chilled ambience.

The beds werent as comfortable, not a lot of utilities in the hotelroom. We were also placed in the furthest back room, whilst it didnt seem to busy, so we didnt understand that.

Wunderschönes Hotel in einer mega tollen Stadt.

Sehr schickes Hotel mit einer fantastischen Lage. Personal war sehr nett und das Frühstücksbüffet war auch super.

Leider waren die Matratzen der Doppelstockbetten extrem hart, so das Rückenschmerzen nicht vermeidbar waren. Das Doppelbett hingegen war super.

Centrally located and very chic

The staff were nice...we had a problem with our room with the light, it didn't turn on when the card was slotted in. We tried it several times, luckily, there was a room across the hall, and we moved across the room. It was all fine at the end. The rooms were clean and it was very comfortable.

Maybe just teabags in the tea boxes, it was empty.

Everything! The staff are wonderful! They went out of their way to fulfil any requests we had. Good breakfast. Great location. Would recommend this hotel and definitely stay again.

Superb

Friendly reception. Allowed us to check in early. Room was very large, and the bed was enormous. The shower was fantastic. Breakfast was amazing. Very close to town centre.

On a seven week cycle tour, bike security is very important for us. I routinely message city hotels to ask whether they can store bikes overnight. This hotel answered: yes, but when we arrived we were told that they could not store our bikes. We had to put them in the public bike garage off Grote Markt. I planned a nasty review score, but the check-out receptionist disarmed me completely by making our breakfast complimenary. Thank you.

average hotel, good location, but thin walls and you can hear everything in the room next to you.

quick and easy check in, not too full and the room was clean.

No toothpaste or toothbrushes were offered. The walls were drywalls (hollow and thin). I could hear the person in the room next to me snore which kept me from going to bed. It was so annoying that I was forced to put on the AC to overpower the noise.

Good choice in Groningen

Perfect location in the Binnenstad 3 minutes walk to the Grote Mark, Vismarkt, "high street" shopping and many restaurants. Very good breakfast in glassed courtyard that doubles as lounge/relax area during the day. We were upgraded to larger room overlooking the courtyard with views of several church steeples. We appreciated the two built in racks for our suitcases and the nightlight built into the bathroom mirror! I would stay here again.

For a newer hotel building built to look like the classic Dutch street, I have some minor suggestions for hotel management: You cannot sit comfortably at the desk to work, the built-in nightstands are tiny and there is no comfortable sitting chair in the otherwise spacious room, but they did provide a second desk chair for us. Lighting was dim even with all four lights on.

Great value and location in Groningen

Very friendly staff, with a fantastic location in Groningen. Great value for a nice hotel in the center of the city. The room was comfortable. I'd stay here again the next time in town.

The room could have been a little cleaner, but it was still comfortable to stay there.

Friendly, stylish, excellent hotel.

Immaculately clean, stylish room with comfi bed, good hot shower, cooler/fridge, coffee pod machine, kettle and selection of teas and coffees, hair dryer, makeup mirror with light. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great central location. Very interesting forward thinking city. Exceptional architecture and design. We had severe disruption to our travel plans and couldn't arrive for our first night. Without needing to ask, they didn't charge us for that night. So kind!

I needed to ask for some vegan options for breakfast (breakfast had lots of great food but not a lot of vegan friendly food ). Once I asked, the chef said he'd sort something out for us (he gave us a vegan sausage, vegan yoghurt, vegan cheese, tomato and cucumber each morning). Having a section on the booking form re: dietary requirements would be helpful. The stairs and hallway leading up to the bedrooms was not hoovered during our stay and had some small bits of plastic and other small debris on it. Our room was above an alleyway and opposite an apartment building. It was a bit noisy but not too bad between 11pm and 7am. The window/external wall didn't seem to offer much soundproofing. Some stairs in the hotel were very steep and could do with a railing on both sides.
