Ideal room and fabulous food.

A grab rail could be fitted to the shower cubicle.

Won’t stay again

Large double bed that was comfortable. Large car park.

The room backed onto a house on the back. When I opened the curtains I could see the people in their room which was weird. I spent my two nights with the curtains closed. The hallway smelled of urine when I first got there and the hall carpet wasn’t particularly clean. The worst part were the cleaners in the morning who were screaming and had their music on full blast.

King bed and dark quiet room was good for sleeping.

Dark quiet rooms.

Food in dining room was awful we had the dailyvroast that was overcooked. As well we were sat too close to other patrons, in an nearly empty room.

Excellent hôtel près du château de Stirling

Bon accueil. Chambre confortable et spacieuse, très cosy. Douche à l’italienne très fonctionnelle. Bon restaurant. Petit-déjeuner très complet.

Second time there and I really liked it both times.

The room was well appointed, comfortable bed and well equipped bathroom. The hotel is well situated w/parking and the breakfast was very good. Everything, including the staff was very good.

Perfectly situated for exploring the city and Sterling Castle.

Comfy beds, plenty of space and friendly staff. We enjoyed the Battlefield experience next door too. That was a bonus. We ate at the hotel on two nights and enjoyed very tasty meals.

Pleasant apart from the price and bedding.

No choice of eggs at breakfast, for £103 I expect to at least be served with drinks and toast at the table. Cheap sausage also. I paid this price at a hotel nearby last visit but there was a pool and spa. The room was okay, Shower nice. Mattress on the bed was badly stained. Staff at the Hotel were lovely.

Definitely the price, no way the standard I expect for that amount of money.

Great location

Great location. Clean rooms and great choice in the restaurant.

Paid for a king room, and did not get this. When I spoke with reception I got told it was a king bed (2 singles pushed together) should have had a seating area, we had 1 chair. Just a little annoyed I paid extra for this and did not receive it.

It was adequate and perfectly acceptable but nothing special

It was a convenient location, the room was good but nothing special. The staff were friendly and helpful

The food we had was ok although the steak I had was very tough. My view of what we had was coloured by the fact that the previous day we had had an exceptional meal at our previous location for similar money - especially where the breakfast was concerned.

Poor

Very very noisy next door shouting and things bouncing off the walls. Uncharacteristically I opened the door and said a few things including a couple of swear words before closing the door and going back to bed. Soon they started knocking at my door too. As we are early risers and bedders a noisy room a few metres from reception was maybe too close for us.alas by the time we got to Northumberland we were feeling very tired and it was very stressful for the dogs too

New year stay

The staff were so friendly and very welcoming. Entertainment was great with lots of laughs and the food was lovely too. This was our second stay and would recommend it 👍

A little gem that is dog friendly and rooms newly refurbished together with good food.

The Hotel is friendly and welcoming, the food is good and on a Friday night we had such fun with karaoke and a quiz. We only had a one night stopover enroute to our final destination and were pleasantly surprised at what this Hotel had to offer.
