vieille ville très agréable malgré un temps qui ne s'y prêtait pas

impossible de me connecter à la wifi car réseau non sécurisé et mon iphone a bloqué l'accés. Longueur pour être servi au petit déjeuner et très peu dans l'assiette (une tranche de pain de mie seulement et 20 minutes d'attente pour en avoir une autre...............)

Wonderful hospitality from Fraser. He really goes the extra mile. Definitely a valuable employee. Pauline was so nice

Location was ideal in relation to old town, bus station and train station. The restaurant menu was very good.

Perhaps offer a pillow that could be more soft, but otherwise there really isn’t anything that is wrong.

Great stay

Very friendly & welcoming staff, excellent cooked breakfast but a little limited if you prefer a continental one, no fresh fruit. Dinner choice very good too , beds very comfortable & Easy walk to the centre, castle & train station.

Wir haben dieses Hotel gebucht, weil wir erst abends in Edinburg Airport gelandet sind und nicht zu lange fahren wollten, um unsere erste Übernachtungsmöglichkeit in Schottland zu erreichen. Es war eine sehr gute Wahl, denn wir wurden sehr sehr freundlich empfangen, das Zimmer und auch das Frühstück war gut. Die Lage ebenfalls, denn am nächsten Morgen brauchten wir nur etwa 20 Minuten zu Fuß zu dem wunderschönen Castle of Stirling.

A very comfortable stay.

Wonderful staff, room was large, very comfortable and clean, location was excellent. I thought it might be a little noisy but it wasn’t at night and we slept very well. Dinner and breakfast in the nicely decorated restaurant were delicious.

Great location, superb food

The parking was easy, so close to town centre. Room was clean and well appointed. Meal in bar in the evening was superb, as was the breakfast.

Stirling ist toll und liegt ausgezeichnet für Tagesausflüge.

Die Mitarbeiter sind super nett und höflich. Das Frühstück ausgezeichnet. Abends kann man sehr gut im Restaurant essen.

Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis für das Zimmer war nicht angebracht, dafür ist der Preis zu hoch.

Exceeded my perceptions, enjoyed the stay

Staff were great, room was larger than anticipated. Shower was v good. Food ok.. tbh better accomm than was expected.

I picked wrong at dinner, food was ok. Room could do with some tlc. But no complaints at all better then expected

This small hotel was excellent value for money. The room was modern, comfortable and airy, with a decent sized bathroom. The restaurant had an excellent choice of food on the menu. We ate on the evening and enjoyed the Scottish choices. Breakfast which was included in our price was also excellent with the Scottish full breakfast as one of the main choices. However it did offer other choices such as continental. The location is brilliant for people wanting to explore Stirling offering free parking. The walk to the Castle is a steep one but there is car parking at the Castle itself. On a final note the staff members we came across at the reception and in the restaurant were very helpful and friendly,

Loved our stay

The room is large and immaculate. Very comfortable bed. You can control the heating yourself. 3 minute walk into town centre. Staff are all friendly and helpful Serves delicious quality food in the restraunt at very reasonable prices Large breakfast selection. It's such a lovely welcoming atmosphere the moment you arrive till you leave.

For a short stay Fletchers was handy for the town centre and the food and staff wete great.

Nothing really .. if anything it would have been good to have a king size rather than a double bed but given the value for money, we cant really complain!

Home from home

Excellent atmosphere, great room. Staff were superb. Really friendly place where one felt at home. Location is so convenient and the whole experience was first rate. Already planning a return visit!

Good central spot, excellent staff.

Good location with parking. Staff were all excellent, friendly and efficient. Rooms were clean. Food was very good. Tea/coffee etc in rooms.

On a busy road so traffic noise. The room, whilst clean, needed a few repairs (water leak, new blinds, sash window restoration). There was only a small double bed.

A good, short stay. Good location.

A bit 'funky'. The reception was located in the bar/restaurant area and it took us a while to understand how to get around. But, a good, clean, comfortable room and breakfast was good. We ate dinner there one night and it was quite good and well-prepared.

Delightful.

The staff here were excellent. Fraser met us when we arrived early to store our bags and was able to check us in. He and the other staff were so accommodating! When they discovered we would be checking out before breakfast was available, they arranged to have a boxed breakfast waiting for us to take at checkout! We also ate dinner at their restaurant and the food was delicious. Fraser again was wonderful and sat us in the best seat in the restaurant.

The room was a little tired, and some windows were lacking blinds. It was an unusually hot day, and blinds would have been useful to keep the room cool.

Great Visit as Always

We have stayed here a few times and it is a lovely restaurant/hotel. The food is marvelous, the staff are great and the rooms are clean and comfortable.

Superb

We oved Chesters and the fabulous restaurant below the rooms. The room was very spacious and very comfortable. We especially loved the old building with it's historic feel - not too modern. Fletchers is also situated within easy walking distance of the old part of Chester with loads of coffee shops and places to eat.

Great location, AMAZING breakfast!

Great breakfast! All the meats you could possibly imagine for a Scottish breakfast, including haggis! It's also adjacent to a giant grocery store if you need food, though the room didn't have a fridge so that was a bit of a bummer. It did, however, have cookies and a great hot beverage selection. Good location coming by train, an easy walk to basically everywhere!
