Location good, over priced for facilities

Location was good. Easy access to beach and restaurants. Easy to come and go

Paid extra for the premium two bed room apartment. Really was nothing like the photos, did not have a bath, main room was a double bed (not even a queen) and extremely uncomfortable, no toilet paper when we arrived, large dead moth on kitchen window sill. Was only notified one week before we arrived that indoor pool and sauna under repairs and could not be used (should of been notified at time of booking stay).

We had a great stay and loved the location of this hotel.

Great location - close to shops, restaurants and beach! I had an ocean view apartment and the view was fantastic. The apartments were very spacious.

Unfortunately the indoor pool and spa area was under renovation, so was unable to enjoy those facilities.

Overall great property and will be back.

Location is great, close to beach, restaurants, Pacific Fair etc.

This was 3rd time we’ve stayed this year, this time our room faced south so was cold and the carpet wasn’t dirty but felt bit icky.

Location and the views from the balcony are simply special.

The location of Ultiqa Beach Haven is magnificent. Close to the beach close to the main shopping precent in Broadbeach, close to many many restaurants and easteries. The facilities along with the car park are great . There are two pool areas, with two tennis courts and a cosy sized gym available for all tenants to use. We used the bigger pool on the west side of the building and it was lovely, full of kids, but lovely none the less. The gym had some excellent machines for us to use and all worked very well. The View from the room was absolutely wonderful. To wake up early in the morning go for a quick walk along the beach, come back and have breakfast on the balcony overlookling the ocean was extremely special. We watched the 8PM and Midnnight new years fireworks from the balcony and it was like having front row seats to a show. Very very special.

The indoor pool area is still not completed and I thought this would've been finished by this last visit. We stayed in June of '23, then again in Nov '23 and now in January '24 and it still wasn't completed. Thew room doesn't get cleaned or serviced every day. Last time we stayed it was cleaned approximately a couple of times out of 5 days. This time we stayed for 9 days, but it was cleaned on the 8th day. I expected it to be cleaned at least once every few days...

Apartment 1D is very run down

The location was amazing!

When we first arrived the rooms cleanliness was disgusting (apartment 1D)🤮 sand all over the couch, took my shoes off and all I could feel was crap under my bare feet…. Swept the floor and there was pubes, long dark hair and toe nails in the pile! Bathroom groat was all moldy, roof was moldy, soap dispenser in the shower was held on with duck tap and all the sheets had dust all over them. 95% of the faucets in the apartment were all leaking which is a terrible waste of water and all the cupboards are all falling apart and all the testing tags on the appliances expired in 2020!

Great spot with all restaurants in walking distance

Great location to all the restaurants and great view to the ocean. Clean, spacious and well equipped.

Some of the facilities were under renovation which was a shame but we were warned in advance.

The property was brilliant and offered sick views of the most of Broadbeach and surfers . The pools were clean and the water temp always beautiful . Beautiful bbq facilities to boot .

In some cases a bit disappointing but in other cases very good.

Location and view were excellent. very handy to shops and trams.

Ripped curtains in bedroom two. Mattresses were past their prime in bedroom two, and kitchen had only just enough utensils. Knives, forks and spoons. Staff were marvelous. Step over bath not ideal for pensioners. Supposed to be an superior room but not what I would call it.

Location lovely and views fantastic. Situation perfect.

The location was convenient, the views wonderful.

All the walls were marked and dirty and in need of painting. The carpet in the dining area was very badly stained. Whe I mentioned this to the receptionist on check out I was told it was a “standard room”. I must admit I expected better for $300 a night. The indoor pool was being renovated so not in use.

The view and the closeness of the beach was amazing! The kitchen was fully equipped and the kids loved the pool. The outdoor kitchen next to the pool looked amazing.

Great location , excellent sized rooms and clean.

The location was perfect . The little welcome gift basket was fantastic. Views just amazing .

Indoor pool area suppose to be finished up June 30th - then when we got there was pushed back to September 16th then before we left we noticed that the sign changed to December.

The view & the heating were excellent & we loved having the space.

I thought the unit could have been cleaner. Some surfaces were dusty & there were dark hairs in the bathroom. The lounge TV ‘blacked out’ for a couple of seconds periodically.

We had a lovely stay, the apartment was comfortable and clean with great views of the beach.

The location was fantastic, opposite the beach and within walking distance to restaurants and shops. Our apartment was great, 2 bedroom both with large beds which was perfect for the 3 of us. The pool and bbq area was lovely. The bbq area was great, with ample comfortable seating and overhead fans. We enjoyed it so much, we used the bbq twice during our stay

We were disappointed that the gym and sauna was not available during our stay.

We have stayed at Beach-haven 4 times over approx 6 years and will consider staying another visit.

Location, view , convenient and very comfortable.

QR access relative to room /accommodation services was inop ie therefore we were not aware of how to have our daily towels replaced, not a big deal, but!

Not as advertised, won't return

Location. Close to beach. Great views over the ocean if facing east.

Things we liked: Views. Pool (when not rammed). Receptionist friendly. Things we didn't like: Too many to mention but overall this place isn't as sold. It's an old 1980s building with some modernisation done. Refurbished is creative writing. TV not connecting and spent ages rebooting and connecting to Netflix. Our entire floor stank of chemicals and rubbish. Might be because people smoke inside (could see from our balcony). Beds not comfortable and pillows like kerbs. "Reserved parking" is a farce as people just park wherever. Had to find street parking which took ages. Felt and looked dirty despite the chemical smell. In summary if you're looking for a nice place to unwind after a day at the beach or sightseeing this is not the haven to do it at
