good location for a tired and dated hotel. Terrible driving entry

location was good, rooms very good size, balcony was lovely

-entrance to hotel was not just confusing but actually dangerous - we almost drove into a pole in middle of driveway in dark. given there are no entry signs, it would have been useful to receive information of how to enter the property on booking -hotel was very dated - breakfast was booked as part of the booking and noted as "very good breakfast" As such I assumed it would be a buffet and happy to pay the $28 additional booking fee per person. No mention, that breakfast was al'carte from the usual restaurant menu and hence was not value for money at all

Unfortunately we were let down by our stay as we had higher expectations for the property given the price we paid.

The location was good, with lovely views across the bay and a large balcony to relax on. We didn’t use the spas downstairs during our stay.

The photos don’t give an accurate picture of the property as it has become quite aged and in need of repairs.

The hot pools massage and stunning balcony view. Room was comfy. Liked the big screen in the room also. Location. Liked it had everything at hand. No need to go anywhere.

Beautiful Location but staff could be more hospitable.

Beautiful views of the harbour, close to the main Centre of town, clean amenities.

On arrival no one was at reception to greet us, no bell to ring or phone number to let Duty Manager know we had arrived. Waited 15 minutes for a staff member to arrive and give us Room keys. We had dinner one night in The Glasshouse Restaurant, once again staff were not available to seat us, only one waitress on, it was obvious she was stressed and we had to ask her for more utensils and clean plates, took our wine glass and did not ask if we wanted a refill. The food was delicious at the restaurant.
