We stayed at 2 storey beach house. Overall feel of the house was weird. There was a little friend (mouse) that surprised us roaming around at night.

We have stayed at the beach house a number of times now and it is always a comfortable and homely stay. We enjoy this house as it is very spacious for the whole family/friends to enjoy. Close to the beach and countdown. The view is delightful, always nice to wake to. This house caters to a group of people (Families, group of friends, colleagues).

Great location, roomy house.

The house is directly over the road from the Bay of Islands, and we had wonderful views from the dining room as we had our breakfast. The house was very spacious and clean, including the kitchen, which is nicely equipped.

We really enjoyed the house and the location. Very comfortable, welcoming with great view

The location was superb. Stunning view and very spacious and comfortable

It was lovely and peacefull for the 3 days that we stayed. However, there are units behind the house in which one of them were sociialising outside the unit until early hours of the morning. Was hard to sleep with the loud voices and laughter. The music was kept to a reasonable level though so it wasnt overly loud.

A nice spot for a quiet girls night away, comfortable spaces for a group to relax in with nice views

Nice big lounge with plenty of comfortable seating. Lovely outside deck upstairs with a big table and a great view. Beds were very comfortable and rooms nice and clean.

Kitchen was very small and minimally stocked with basic utensils etc. In saying that we’re weren’t there to be cooking as we ate out so it suited us fine, enough to make breakfast and a few snacks. It’s surrounded by flats but the neighbours were friendly and reasonably quiet.

Loved the location. Was a big home with lots of room for children to play.

Needed a good clean in kitchen. Stove was dirty. Dishes were also not washed properly.

Comfy Paihia stay

super comfortable house Close to the water BEAUTIFUL VIEW❤️❤️ Owner is super nice considering we got to property late and could not find our way and she drove with us to the property😅 The house is huge It's an old beautiful home with all the amenities provided Super close to the restaurants and stores

Generous beds and house

Photo on booking.com not the property we were given. I think we won in the end but most annoying when you book online and find the property is not what you thought you'd booked. We only won because the place they were trying to put us in was not ready so we got an upgrade. Neither of the houses were the one in the photos on booking.com. The house they tried to put us in was not waterfront as was shown in the booking.com photo. the one we ended up in was :) Inside house was great, the yard very poor.

Upstairs water pressure in shower was pathetic. Plumbing noisy when refilling toilets etc Window was broken in lounge and we had very young children playing in there Some general maintenance would make it more attractive for families including more drapes at beroom windows

Great Accommodation

The house was clean and spacious. Great views and plenty of room for all of us. Would definitely stay here again.

There wasnt any extra bedding or towels in the house but apart from that everything was good.
