Enttäuschend, das konnte auch das Personal nicht retten

Personal war sehr freundlich, von Außen machte das Hotel einen guten Eindruck

Das Zimmer war nicht sauber, Fernbedienung des TV defekt, Steckdosen ohne Strom, Handwerker waren in vollem Betrieb

Tolle Location mit viel Potential und Luft nach oben

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, ist aber leider noch nicht wirklich geschult. Das Schloss ist wirklich hübsch. Es gibt 35 Zimmer, meines war geräumig und sauber. Parkplätze gibt es genug kostenlos auf dem hauseigenen Parkplatz im Hof.

Mein Bad hatte keine Vorhänge, dementsprechend konnte man mir theoretisch vom Flur aus beim duschen zuschauen. In der Woche gibt es Frühstück ab 6:30 Uhr (Personal habe ich hier um die Uhrzeit jedoch nicht gesehen) am Wochenende erst ab 9 Uhr. Für mich, die um 8 Uhr bei der Fortbildung sein musste, gab's also am letzten Tag kein Frühstück. Das Haus ist sehr schön, mein Zimmer über der Küche eher laut (ich denke es gab Schnitzel). Auschecken konnte ich nicht, denn auch da gabs kein Personal. Das Abendessen zur Halbpension war lecker. Grosse Auswahl gab's allerdings nicht und es war ein Überraschungsmenü.

4 star hotel ? U must be joking !

Location and decorations

No fridge, no coffee , no breakfast , no houseshoes, and a very noisy old bed . For that price, it is very disappointing! The geese are very loud. Obviously the windows are not properly sealed. Inconvenient to get food, the restaurant doesn’t offer proper meal .

Disappointed with the poor service, their indifferent attitude to my request for a lower floor room.

We love the room with its high ceiling and the big & modern toilet

When we arrived we found out that room 406 was on the 4th floor with no lifts. My German friend told them that I had a procedure on my heart just 2 weeks ago and that the cardiologist advised me not to climb too many steps. He requested for a change of room to a lower floor but we did not get it. There were over 40 steps to get to the 4th floor and I had to rest each time after a few steps. The other thing that disappointed us was that there was no kettle or coffee or tea provided. This is very unusual for a 4 star hotel. Even 3 star hotels provide them. When I tried calling the reception, no one picked up the phone The next thing is no Wi-Fi details were provided. We were only given the room key with nothing else. Since I couldn’t get the reception, I called the restaurant. The person who answered just mentioned the password. When we tried the different combinations it didn’t work. My husband then went to the restaurant and got them to write the password. It had capital & small letters as well as a number Such details are normally provided at check-in or there is a folder in the room The next day we went out at 8am and only returned at 9pm. We were shocked when we saw the tag still hanging at the door asking for the room to be cleaned. The room was not not cleaned at all. Again no one answered the phone at the reception. Called the restaurant and told them the room was not cleaned and that we needed clean towels. A lady came up & apologised. She said she will clean the room. I told her it is already late and we are tired. I just needed the clean towels Looks like they forgot there are guests staying on the 4th floor Our German friend felt very bad cos he was the one who recommended the hotel. He asked me whether I wanted to change hotel. I told him we like the room and the bathroom and that we will just stay on for the 2 nights. Overall we were terribly disappointed with the poor service especially for a 4 star hotel

Too short to take in all the surroundings

Very spacious, the bathroom was phenomenal. It was a bit dusty though. Checkin and checkout was easy.

A fridge would have been nice inside a 144€ room.

Beautiful house for near town

Beautiful Hotel near a Golf court. Nice and very friendly service in the restaurant. Charming room with high ceiling and a very modern bathroom. Very nice furniture matching the old and charming house.

The breakfast is very simple and rather expensive - 13.50 Euros. It would be easy to pimp it up a bit but I have to say the service was also very nice. Very friendly, fast and charming.

Authentic old style German hotel with town on one side and golf course on the other, idyllic

Location is amazing , by park on a golf course. Authentic old style German hotel, not a modern hotel, for a one day business trip or 1 night stay over it is fine. Breakfast is simple but ok. easy stroll into the old town and shops. Restaurant menu short but covers the bases and food is very good quality

first room I checked into hadn't been cleaned but an honest mistake quickly rectified. If you are looking for a gym and facilities this is not the hotel for you
